I won't say don't leave but don't leave,

In a month or so all this will be forgotten and we'll all have something totally new to disagree about

The majority here like/respect you, that's all that matters and its not like you've to sit next to any of us at the dinner table (well ok maybe one day )

Main thing to focus on now Sara, is enjoy that bloody beautiful win and have a holiday or spoil yourself from your winnings.

I've been reading all posts about this subject again and also my discussions about it with Bryan, Max and a few others.
It did hurt yes since I felt strong about it, but I've never been that kind of person who not tried to see all views about whatever it may be. In this case I still don't really understand the other side but I do accept and respect it.
For me it's just to stay away from VS and I'm sure they won't miss me
(Suddenly I have a lot more time, and thanks to that I won all that money at 32Red so all bad came with something good )

I was the uncool person as you all have figured out that said I would leave this forum too. That was how I felt, and if anyone think that was pathetic in any way, I don't care. That says more about you than about me.

I've been here for a long time so maybe it would be time to leave, but I hope it's fine if I change my mind too. I have too many people I talk to and I guess I like this place or I wouldn't have stayed for so long.

Now I'll try to see if I can find that trip to Italy for a couple of weeks. I think I need to get away

If someone disagrees with you over Dangate and VS you shouldn't take it as a personal attack, especially over something no one can retroactively change....

Short of a public apology by Dan and everyone unilaterally agreeing that Dan/VS are evil I don't see how this is going to get resolved? It just "is"

I didn't read the whole thread, but i can see how some were offended by this - of course not all people can relate to that, as their PM's with reps aren't as amical, and/or 'strictly business' - i myself for one, also like to engage in 'long term relations'...

I also think it's just a tad unfair, that Dan received the best Casino rep award, as normally that is an award for one single person - and his personal involvement. If that person delegates - which naturally can/will happen, it's fine, but if that person shares a PM account with colleagues, that's not quite the same, and it's even in the T&C's of the site, that PM's are supposed to be personal.

So yeah, perhaps a good time for Bryan to tell his Reps to make it known, that they use a shared account, but i'd figure that won't happen/be needed oftenanyway. Almost all other reps and Casinos have several people on here, either head of Casino, Aff manager or rep, and/or promotional people..I would be surprised to find out my personal emails and/or messages to certain people in Casinos and forums alike, to be read by more than one person..

I certainly wouldn't expect it.

This isn't about whether I think she's a nice person or not, I'm questioning why someone would threaten to quit the forum based on people disagreeing with her in a dramatic fashion. They're not the same thing.

Perhaps you could have worded it differently? I wasn't saying you don't like her, but it certainly came across as accusing her of having a 'traite'..i know we all drank beers together -it's quite relative, but the written word can be easily misinterpreted (especially by people who aren't native English speakers), so...kiss and make up!

I'd hate to see the others go too. I don't know who they are, and I guess it's not our business, but I like to think I'm friends with one who I " suspect" is leaving too. I will send her a message.

Bryan's recent post on this has inspired me to share a few thoughts of my own on this, and maybe a wee rant or two. In no particular order:

• the news that Dan had a team helping him came as news to us. I only learned of it a week or so ago after I heard from a forum member that Dan had apparently said "I won't be responding to player issues any more". I fired an email to "Dan" and soon after was on the phone with VS management finding out what exactly had gone down.
• So yeah, the "Dan is a team" thing was news but it wasn't exactly earth-shattering. As Bryan said, reps routinely have one or more people popping into the account. I think the problem here is that for the longest time Dan's account was Dan, just Dan, and he did a hell of a good job. The fact that that evolved into Dan + team was neither here nor there as far as I was concerned. The point was that team or no team they were doing a damn fine job and good on them for it!
• If you are sending deeply personal, non-casino related stuff to a rep's account then you should probably have a think about your choice of "friends". A rep is almost certainly not your friend. They may be helpful, courteous, even admirable but they are employees of the company they work for and their company account here -- whether it's named "Dan" or "Dan and helpers" or "Casino X Rep" -- is about work, not your personal life. Unfortunately the reps are sometimes happy to have you think they are your friend but that's a bit of a "please deposit more" ploy I'm afraid. If you have any doubts about whether they really are your friend that just ask them to lend you some money and babysit your cats for a week. You'll soon find out who is a friend and who is just a "friend".
• Anyone who is haranguing VS and/or accusing us of a bunch of underhanded crap because of the "Dan isn't Dan but is really Dan + others" thing has lost the plot. The point is to have good, helpful, responsive reps on the forums. Full stop.
• If VS maybe wasn't quite as up-front about the "Dan" account as they could have been then say so. Tell them precisely that and hope they do a good thing. But throwing your kit out of the pram in a huff over this is exactly as ... non-constructive as it sounds. Ask yourself what you hope to accomplish by doing this. Punish the VS guys and end up chasing them away? So you want to go from pseudo-Dan goodness to less or no help at all? I think not! I understand that these are challenging days for all of us but beating up the good guys because they weren't exactly what you thought they were is not the solution.
• People getting fed up and leaving the forums is just a part of forum life. Sad when it happens, especially if it's someone you've grown to like and enjoy hanging out with online, but those departures are just the way it goes. I'm been managing forums since 2002-ish and have learned that it's simply one of the truths about life online: if it's time to say goodbye then it's time to say goodbye. C'est la vie. And I'm not trying to be glib about this. Truth is there is bugger all you can really do about it so maybe it's best being a little philosophical instead.

I have played 15 years in online and my complaint wasnt about 16€ money. I am not idiot, i have played roulette for allmost 14 years.

You should trust your long time customers who has lost about 100k to VS " 4 years ".
