crystal palace not paying 35k

A few years back I deposited a small sum of money into
Crystal Palace Casino. I truly dont even remember how
I found them at the time because it was a while ago.
I hadn't thought about Crystal Palace until I
noticed an email about bonuses they were giving.
I bought in and began playing. After a few buy
ins(8?) I went on a huge run. I had my account up to
roughly 20k when I cleared my bonus. I then talked to
support and they confirmed that I cleared the bonus.
I then began cashing out. The max per week is 5k so I
put in a cashout request for 5k. I talked to support
and they said that I did not need a faxback form since
I had not used a credit card. My withdrawl was denied
because I did not give a faxback. I then contacted
support again and they confirmed my needing a faxback,
but didn't really give a reason why. The faxback
states "Complete one form for EVERY credit card you
have used at Crystal Palace Casino." Anyway I sent in
the faxback, my license and a bill and finally
received a cashout for 5k. In the meantime I continued
to play at the site and win. The next week I received
another 5k, I continued to play and win. Next week
another 5k, more playing, more winning. Then I was
told by support that I could queue all the money I
wanted withdrawn, 5000 at a time. So I drained my
account, and was left with seven 5,000$ pending
withdrawls. Well a few days ago I got 7 emails denying
my request for cashouts. The emails said that it may
be because of me not meeting the bonus requirements. I
tried to log into my account and got an error message
which said to contact support. I called support and I
was informed that due to a breach of the terms and
conditions my account had been closed, no money, no
nothing, too bad. I asked what I did and he told me I
played a restricted game(roulette) before meeting my
bonus requirements, even though when I was going
through the approval process I was told that I had
cleared the bonus. I refered to the email and did not
see what he meant. He told me to go to their website
and read the terms and conditions there. He showed me
where it said that I could not play a locked game
before the bonus was cleared. I told him that my email
never stated this, nor did it state that I would have
to adhere to other terms and conditions. However, I
had complied with all the terms stated in the email. I
also asked what had changed since my last cashout. Why
had they given 15000$ to a player who breached the
terms and conditions. He gave no answer other than
that's the way it is. I had played for months and was
never told that I had breached the terms. Once I
stopped playing, coincidentally my account was closed.
I also had made other deposits which were given
bonuses. I played locked games with that money. It
seems no one said a word because I lost. These terms
and conditions only applied when I won and stopped
playing. I know that they owe me this money.

Unfortunately Tedow, you're probably going to have to wait until RTG gets their new disputes channel set up and lodge a formal complaint. I believe it's to be called Hastings BV. There are links to the (future) site here somewhere. Casinomeister added this group of casinos to the rogue list just yesterday, and I don't believe he's handling any complaints in regards to them at the time. If you look under announcements at the top of the forum, you should see the link to the Crystal Palace roguing. It's also along the side of the forum.

In the future, if you are looking for a reputable place to play, check Casinomeister's Accredited Casinos section. You won't go wrong there, and if you do run into any problems, you'll have an avenue of recourse.

Break Even

I doubt Oliver has a case here, they paid three lots of withdrawals totalling 15K, and they would never have done this if they had any excuse not to at the time. It may be that the 15K they allowed brings the player back to break even over the lifetime of the account, and as soon as it became clear that no more play would take place for 7 weeks while the queued withdrawals were in the system, decided to end it there & then and lock the account.
Clearly, the only way to win here is to play "dirty", and use a bit of counter psychology when finding oneself in the embarrassing position of being ahead at this group.
So long as they believe you will lose it all back they are happy to play the good casino. I am sure that had you ignored the suggestion to queue the withdrawals, and continued to play each week after taking out the permitted 5K, you would have got at least a couple more past Oliver before he figured out he was paying a winner.
Compare this with the complaint made by the compulsive gambler who could not get "Oliver" to lock his account in three months despite asking several times and complaints from his wife. The day he hit a big win though, suddenly they managed to lock his account, and refused to pay the winnings because his wife had made "threats".
This group are out of control, and they need to be deprived of their lifeblood, new players. I expect Oliver Curran will be the one to "heroically" come to the rescue of the US players with a solution to depositing, and a public "up yours" to the DoJ if they try to stop him. He will then be able to deny withdrawals by claiming the DoJ finally "got to him", and he is willing, but unable (Oh, wasn't this already tried by another casino, could only process withdrawals via methods unavailable to a player - but didn't tell them that when they deposited, nor updated the website to make it clear).

Bottom line: these guys haven't been rogued for nothing......The big problem of course, is: how does one get restitution?

While there certainly isn't a definitive answer to this dilemma, I firmly believe that by keeping the public pressure on these guys - through posts like this one - will be of paramount importance if anything is to change.

I still maintain that some big time media coverage won't be far behind. Stay tuned.....Oliver can't keep sliding forever (although he is one slippery customer! )

Satisfaction, at least, can be gained by ensuring his "feeding trough" is less full than he would like. Getting mainstream media coverage at present may be hard, any at the moment will be related to the dramatic events last week. However, come September there should be an increase in the UK media's interest in the subject in general. if it is a good story, they will bite. It can be dramatised a little, but must essentially be true. This will at least ensure that no future attempt to list on AIM will get past the planning stage (a listing would allow the figures behind the group to cash in, probably what they wanted to do last year).

If Crystalisle DID manage to list, a large wad, and a spread betting account or two, could be used to exact retribution

It's the 90% that do not know the past history of certain casinos that allows the poor ones to carry on providing a poor service. So long as they are able to advertise with great promises, it is too late when the unwitting player finds out the real truth; and the losers never do, so they keep playing and recommending them to friends.

crystal palace/american grand

These guys got me too. I referred my boyfriend to these sites and he won about $11,000 with crystal palace and $3,000 with american grand after giving him the run a round about it being the holidays and it's taking longer than usual to get withdrawals and so forth there not paying him a dime but they took his deposits. There must be something done about this. During this time I also played on my accounts and lost quite a bit of money and I asked them what if I won you wouldn't have paid me either and they said yes that is correct but they took all of our deposits.
