We also know that scammers have moved into the crypto casino world in a big way and of course we had a certain site sponsoring UK football teams while taking unlicensed play.

So how do you people go about firstly deciding to take the plunge and play crypto and secondly how do you you ascertain which ones are trustworthy?

It’s all about doing your research. I’ve got some great recommendations from the community here on CM. I’ve also found other places that I’ve researched first before depositing.

Limiting your exposure also helps as I’ll never be in a position to lose significant amounts (in terms of confiscated winnings) with my low stakes.

The reasons I’ve gone mainly crypto? (In order)

1. There are plenty of max RTP crypto casinos
2. Lower SOW risks (I’d never give any online casino my confidential financial information)
3. Not having gambling transactions on my bank account
4. Larger range of providers
5. Decent rewards programs (even for low rollers)

I don’t use auto spins nor do I buy bonuses (except for one session per year at Xmas). I also don’t spam the spin button so a forced delay between spins doesn’t bother me. I’m happy provide KYC documentation. These aren’t the reasons I’ve gone crypto.

Nothing the UKGC are doing, or plan on doing, would entice me back to UK casinos.

It isn’t illegal as far as I know for a UK player to play crypto at a non-uk licensed casino, which I am guessing a lot of people are unsure of. Once you get past that and dealing with crypto which can be done in about 30 seconds once you know what you are doing, then I would say what’s not to like. Evidenced by the likes of Stake’s etc sponsership, the volume and sheer amount of revenue being generated buys you a lot of legitimacy and ethics (as it always does) and worries about getting ripped off are starting to disappear/becoming much rarer depending on who you play with. When the pie is that big you don’t need to.

That said, I do think eventually the amount of revenue being lost on FIAT currency casinos and tax lost will lead to consumer-side legislation to using them becoming introduced.

Stake might be tacky and whatnot but at the end of the day I'd trust them to pay me quickly and drama-free. That's more than I would say for most of the US-targeting RTGs I used to play. They're not the best choice IMO but I wouldn't fear for anyone playing there per se.

It’s because he is transacting USDT via the most expensive method. He’s mentioned previously that people have suggested alternative methods but he either can’t be arsed, or he just can’t get his head around it. Probably a bit of both.

Usdt is probably the worst to use - it is quick but expensive. Loads of alternate you will pay much less than 1%

When I use USDT, I transact it on the Solana network and the fees and cents/pence. Some casinos charge their own fees too which can be a bit more than this.

No. The pure crypto plays are rarely problematic in my experience.

In fact, the exact opposite applies - it's the sites accepting UK players and taking Visa/MC via a Chinese wig importer (or whatever) as well as Crypto that are responsible for most of the scams and issues.

This was true with the pure crypto no kyc sites that didn't use branded providers of the early days. Only one still survives which I still use today (Bitvest).

They had every reason to run (no identity, no way to trace) but they made so much because they always paid, always honored bets, they didn't need to scam.

It was when 'traditional casinos' (who didn't make their own games) that took on crypto that usually caused the problem. IMO and experience.

You need a casino that is truly anonymous. There aren't too many of them around. Look for Costa Rica / Anjouan licensing.

Metawin or Vave will sort you out. Metawin is a nicer designed site, while Vave has a much bigger slots selection. I've deposited and withdrawn thousands from both with no issues whatsoever.

Set VPN to Macedonia for English by default and all slots available.

For metawin I use ethereum. All the competition and free spins etc are offered in eth. I've always used LTC for other sites, but it's much easier to use a connected wallet such as metamask for this one. You can use LTC here if you prefer.
