Really like Glorious Del Piero. Always ensures I'm an early riser

The thinking man's crumpet, certainly better than shrews like Kaye Burley

I'll take a double jab from those....:cheerleader:

P.S. Didn't she play for Juventus?

Ventilation in shops, especially ones inside shopping centres, GPs, nhs, govt offices etc... is woeful. To think of the packed Christmas sales after and even on boxing day, have to wonder with omicron and bojo's warnings whether they will be officially blocked from occurring.

Then again in normal times the immune system needs challenges afaik, but obviously sensible to avoid unnecessary covid risks/behaviour.

And if you do get covid, ensure you're getting plenty of fresh air, as breathing back in the virus that you've exhaled is not good.
And they mandate masks lol

Easy to work out if it’s a testing artefact. Testing figures have remained similar to previous days but cases surging. It’s Omicron.

Most of us will get this in the next few weeks.

I think it should be viewed as a good thing for those that are not vulnerable. Herd immunity

I will sit here laughing my bollocks off if this turns out to be their plan and the next steps...

Reason: Wasn't this mentioned right back at the start when this awful virus first reared its ugly head and the idea of herd immunity rubbished?????

Facebook's old hat and about as relevant as Myspace. That's why I'm looking forward to what fun the Metaverse brings us, especially when I start buying property and having husbands live in each one.

Oh shit sorry that's Fable, my bad

Do people seriously use facebook as their source for news on anything?
10 years ago when is stopped using it it was mainly people posting pictures nobody wanted to see and drama, like alot of drama.
Is it different these days?
Its full of females looking like this

With that attitude Zuckerberg wont invite you next time he goes surfing in the Metaverse.

That and one of my family wanting me to share an image and I will be rich by morning
But you dont have to go to facebook for that, i do most of my get rich quick schemes with Nigerian princes these days, and have been for a long time,
Its all done using emails.

Also, the fish looked weird without any teeth.
Dont worry, thats why we have paint3d, so we can expertly and super convincingly put teeth on fish.

So we are now all out of isolation. My wife last Thursday, myself on Friday and my daughter on Sunday, who went back to school this Monday.

For me, other than losing briefly for a couple of days my sense of smell ( It has returned to normal thankfully ), I must be honest and say ManFlu is 1,000 times worse. My daughter also had similar mild symptoms. Whilst my son, continues to harness his 'Inner Chuck Norris' and keeps on posting daily negative LFT tests.

However, my wife has not been so lucky. There have been a couple of times where I was very close to calling 999 due to her breathing being very concerning, alongside a worrying drop in her oxygen levels.

The idea of being taken in and put on a 'Covid' ward was the only thing stopping us from me making that call.

That said, she did actually get seen by a doctor, or so we thought it was going to be a GP, turned out to be a paramedic at the surgery. It seems still that GP's are continuing to ring fence themselves so as they only speak to patients on the phone :-s

Thankfully she is slowly but surely on the mend though, thanks to steroid inhalers. But alas not returned back to her work as of yet, as still too poorly to do so.

In light of any further restrictions which may be foisted on us here in the UK. I will not be complying with another lockdown should one be mandated. I of course will continue to be sensible, even wearing the mask that offers little to no protection and maintain social distancing. But I will not be told by the government who, when and how I can go about my business.

As for a vaccine passport. I won't go anywhere that requires such a thing. Indeed, I do though have a special one loaded up on my phone if push comes to shove.

We need to learn to live with Covid. It is not going away anytime soon.

:(
Agreed, it's not going anywhere
And like you, I've the code on my phone
But.....good or bad...I'm a little surprised, as youve felt the effects, I'd have thought....you'd support the home-stay
But; I dont live there, man, do you, and....be well; glad youre taking measures :)

Mental health is far more important. We've experienced enough lockdowns for more than 1 lifetime.

As I said for me, I have had worse colds - seriously!

My wife has asthma which Covid obviously made considerably worse. That said, I realise we have to be careful, but we cannot go on like this forever and being stopped from going outdoors will not stop the spread of this disease, hence I will be ignoring any future lockdown orders. ( unless I get it again, then of course I will self isolate )

It's differnet here- so I cant compare; we go out, do our things, live our lives
Though, of course, we get our jabs, wear our masks, dont much mind
The world....in ideals..seems, so, very, very vast

Worst ending to a game ever created - take the potion and turn into another character:, never played it again and didn't bother with the follow up.

Edit: Apologies to anyone I may have offended with the wording - I was not aware the word was such a slur, changed it as I don't wish to offend. My objection towards the game ending was more to do with spending days building up a character for it to be transformed into one I did not want to play with, with no chance of returning it to its former state.

'm...not much fussed; trans (members, yanno) P) - we do have them :)

Me neither, not fussed what people do with their own lives - up to them, but the game took the choice away :)
if not fussed....trans v trannies, then :) - it costs nothing to be kind :)

That's not true and wearing masks has been proven to be very effective.

They offer little to no protection compared to N95 or FPP3 masks - otherwise there would not have been the outcry of PPE shortages in the Spring of 2020. But as I have said, I will continue to wear one where required.

But if on public transport, or similar enclosed unventilated space with a standard shop bought mask on, good luck with that.

After being told getting vaccines would give us back our freedom it's hardly surprising that now we are on our 3rd or 4th booster injections that people are getting pissed off.

Particularly as each vaccine is virtually redundant against this new strain and has been a complete waste of time.
They are wheeling out the polesters to push for lockdowns. GMB ran a pole asking "would you support a lockdown " and 95% replied NO so they pulled the pole because it did not support GMB's narrative.

Yet in South Africa

Good Morning Britain raced against a Polish person? Now that's television!

And just when things were looking up, now we have Omircon? It just never bloody ends does it

If you don't say no to the mask then you are compliant with those forcing to wear them. Not only do they cause more harm than good, the loss of freedom to choose is a bigger issue. I do not wear one and won't. My body my choice. Had covid, my immune system did its job as always.

What made people stop believing in their own immune system?
