Corona virus - Covid 19 discussion

Mom (gods bless her at 80, just went on a date)
They were turned away because everyone but her bf (also, duh, well into his senior yrs) didnt have his vax passoort
So they left/turned away (he was dble vaxxed too)
Was sad for her
And yes, I'm pro vax, and pro proof entrance, but man, it's pretty bloody hard for seniors to produce (minds out of the gutters) their proof.
I can DL moms for her
General seniors, pretty tricky

That was a shame for her.

Like you say it is a shame for elderly that struggle to know how to get these downloaded.

Personally I totally disagree with the vaccine passport. But although tricky if it is going to exist then I think the elderly should have to prove it as well. Lot of talk about them not needing to.

But as most of the restrictions have been for elderly and ill then if anything the elderly should be more expected to prove they are vaccinated as most at risk.

You can get a paper version of the vax passport here quite easily, it's pretty well organised. But then the issue is the app to scan the code doesn't work well to scan the code when it's printed on paper... I've read about this issue on the community facebook pages more than once now. What's the use?! It'll just frustrate people, both the establishment owners who can't let certain people in who have a perfectly legit code and the people themselves, and rightfully so.

well, i mean, its hardly a secret, im left of centric..i have my shots, mom has her shots and booster (and well shes a psw, yes, at 80 lol) because by dint of work, required
But she wouldnt be able to show, if we couldnt help her produce her card
But does, much, remind me, those as cant/arent able to figure out their cards
Hell; im a homebody...i CAN get mine, but i havent even bothered to DL miine to keep it in pocket (noone here has asked me, i just say, ya, ive had my 2)

That is same as me. Had the jags more to save the peace than anything. Missus had the booster yesterday and she is feeling real ill today . Heard a few people saying the same and after feeling worst I have in years after 2nd jag not sure I will get the booster.

But not even looked into downloading passport as totally disagree with it. If time comes I need it for something guess I will have to.

But as for my dad he goes to pub every Friday. If time comes he needs passport for that I would have to try get him a paper passport as let's just say his phone would not be able to download one lol.

He is one of those in his late 70s that knows the Internet exists but has never used it and never will.

If Australia and Austria are anything to go by at a global scale, i think im living thru my last years of life. The moment it will be by force(now is coercion and lose of human rights), those that will knock at the door to get the benefical poison injected into me will meet their dead siblings and so I do. Till then ill happily spread the plague and all its mutations by living the life how was meant to be according to what our forefathers branded as FREEDOM and almost exactly as before, this is the turning tide of humanity for at least a generation and i refuse to be a minion in it. Whos at risk is free to take it and protect themselves. All those that exercised their critical thinking at the beginning by guessing outcomes in months time and being dead right, those deserve the hats off, some in this thread too.
 
I have my doubts re this austria announcement of mandated vaxxes come 1st february, doctors/nurses are bound by ethics so it won't literally be physically forced jabs. The austrian chancellor is quoted as referring to financial penalties for refusing (but gave no detail), that will lead to court cases, surely body autonomy is a basic human right and the court in strasbourg will be required to judge on it.

Edit: Obviously we are in dangerous waters because, for various reasons, a significant portion of the public will either be passive or cheering it on. For reasons of politeness I won't enlarge here.

We have been given forewarning of a lot that is to come throughout this past 20 months or so. Some of it obvious and some not so much. Lately I can not help but notice "excuses" being put in folks minds of ailments and illnesses that they are already attributing to anything none covid related but can be linked to being made worse by having covid.
This is an interesting incite into a group of people who refused to get tested or jabbed and they believe they have reached immunity levels.They interact very regularly now with local communities and use many of the same stores as well as doing business with them.

 
This sums up exactly what I have been saying from the beginning. I tried using g oogle search for the video but it brings up zero which highlights a tiny part of what he has to say. Just one guy seems to have managed to post it to Youtube and I suspect it will not last too long

I was thinking 'become a Jehovah witness' for the religious exemption angle, but now you've thrown another option into the mix albeit with tougher conversion requirements! Are there any amish outposts in the uk :rolleyes: :laugh:

I respect Rand Paul for the way he is highlighting the CDC,Fauci etc but if he really wanted to corner Fauci then why has he not asked him if Covid 19 has been isolated yet because that is the gold standard where they start from in order to create a vaccine. And if the answer is no ( which it is the answer) then how come they created a vaccine for it?

It's a shame he struggles with his voice, not sure if it's nerves, he's got the kennedy magic/charisma under that, desire to fight for causes and the little people as it were.
 
No, the virus has indeed not been isolated as far as I'm aware. Which illustrates how many people were near-enough duped into believing it is a 1-stop 'cure' whereby all this would just go away.

So essentially instead of a fully- functioning vaccine it's a work-in-progress at best that was supposed to aid the most vulnerable, those whose immune systems were so weakened that this was effectively their last line of defence against it.

In its stead we have a glorified booster that needs topping up every few months lest one 'falls behind' and is labelled unvaxxed. Also not sure as to governments' bully boy tactics of coercion for something that's not even finalized. Their overblown reaction to it is far scarier than the virus could ever be.

We're also now finally learning of the lockdown devastation wrought that far exceeded any actual Covid deaths, but again, this seems moot to those that hang on their government's every word, the government they think actually gives a flying monkey's about them :laugh:

But by all means, if developed further and at a point where informed decisions can be made into taking a highly- advanced version of a Covid vaccine then I think you'll find those 'anti-vaxxers' most likely to consider it. And why not? But until then, I wouldn't be so sure

My partner watches him a fair bit, he has a condition that causes the wavering voice. Nothing outlandish but certainly noticeable

I recall his explaining a while ago that his voice is the result of some medical condition and the more he talks he gets clearer. At his age and with his means he does not have to speak out and risk being offed like some of his family have

I love the happy mistakes that I make while single. A few weeks ago I peeled some potatoes in my sink with water and forgot about them. Since then I just threw in the odd small dish and a bit cutlery after a few takeaways then I went to visit my daughters for a while. Today I find that what is left in the dish both tastes and smells like Vodka even if it does seem quite strong. That is what I intend to drink this evening.
It would never have happened if I was not single :p
 
If it was any other root vegetable i would question that story, but when potato is involved it sounds very plausible.
Just like Jesus could turn water into wine, a potato can surely turn stuff into vodka.

Not saying Potato is better than Jesus, but vodka is better than wine so....

I know of a pastry chef who had a large spare big bin under his workbench next to his flours and sugar. During the day he would throw all of his fruit peelings and their wasted flesh into it. Eventually it would end up being a lethal brew- True story
 
I so far have hot had any Covid jabs. I had tested positive on a PCR for Covid in January after a family member had it but fortunately I didn't have any symptoms at all.

I am not anti vax, just waiting for the Novovax vaccine that is based on traditional vaccine technology unlike the ones hastily distributed in the UK.

The Novovax one was meant to get approval in September but still it is not approved for use. What I don't get is they rushed through the Pfizer, AZ and Moderna using new vaccine technology but others are taking far longer to get approval.

Are any of the unvaccinated here also considering the Novovax vaccine?

As I've said before I think I had covid before anyone was tested and at a time when hospital advice told me to not go to hospital or my doc unless my lips where blue.
I have all of the therapeutics I can get my hands on just in case and I would have to be in a very state before going to hospital with covid.
I have full confidence in my immunity although I totally understand that folk have good reason to want to take the jabs.

Also unvaccinated, not anti-vax, just the Covid vax.

I think I have lost so much faith and trust in it all, I'm not sure I will get one unless I'm forced to. Probably when I go on holiday or something, in which case, I will do my research at the time.

Hopefully, by then, the creases have all been ironed out.

This guy only scratches the surface of it all in this interview. Remember that he only talks about or publishes anything that is peer reviewed or gives a direct link too in anything that he presents. Shut down by the main stream that so many give their life too.
