Thanks for posting that.
Whats interesting for me is where he says nobody has been tasked with looking at 'repurposed' drugs. So my layman interpretation is that nothing already developed, or on the market, is being considered for a vaccine in the States.
And.....the only development is for newly manufactured drugs to be considered?
His body language looked awkward to me near the beginning but he was also uncomfortable defending himself, as most people are. Aside from that he seemed very convincing.
I looked at the drug he mentions (I think i have it right).....
Ivermectin
Ivermectin is a medication used to treat many types of parasite infestations. This includes head lice, scabies, river blindness, strongyloidiasis, trichuriasis, ascariasis, and lymphatic filariasis. It can be taken by mouth or applied to the skin for external infestations. Use in the eyes should be avoided.
Anybody know if repurposed drugs are being considered in the UK or other countries? Anybody know more about this panel and their advice?
