2 of my friends have had Coronavirus for just over a week now. One is 39, the other 44. Both no underlying health conditions, one gym fit, goes twice a day, he was the one who initially caught it through work (works in different hospitals servicing medical equipment). He couldn't get out of bed for 4 days, in loads of pain, just walking through to the toilet would have him gasping for breath, couldn't eat and could only sip on drinks.
The other one, again, fit, healthy, she hasn't been quite so bad, but still wouldn't be able to go out even if she were allowed. She hasn't been bed bound like him, but the slightest thing causes her to have to lay down. She mopped the kitchen floor yesterday (and they aren't big kitchens) as she thought she was feeling better on the morning, and had to go to bed and slept for 5 hours, this was after getting up at 9, washing the floor at 10.30. She was in bed at 10.45. She says she can be just sitting watching telly and suddenly feels like she is being strangled as she finds it so hard to breath. Wakes up in the night, not being able to get her breath. Both have no taste or smell.
I'm quite surprised it has affected them so badly, considering they are both perfectly healthy, and fit.
