Corona virus - Covid 19 discussion

Haha not far wrong mate lol!..
I’d love hair, we should have a CM whip around for me a transplant, I looked into getting one in Turkey last year but Isabelle’s bloody horse riding lessons stopped this dream haha!..
Hair is overrated.
All it does is make showers take alot of time.
:)

:)

mines to my shoulders and I'm literally a 5 min shower guy; scrub hair and nether regions and good to go :p

As promised as the thread ‘himmler’ doubted me...

Wagyu burger, toasted bun and a mustard and pepper melt...

Cheesy chips...

Onion rings...

And bbq wings with added hot sauce...

Also green stuff here and the there for presentation, like the garlic bread.

And a pint of hardcore juice with ice, apple and blackcurrent.

Idiotically late meal, but no plans tomorrow no Isabelle so living the dream :-)

Best wishes guys and stay lucky.
Ben

Of course the mainstream media fear mongers bang on that there is no evidence for HCQ, when even the other day the professor of Epidemiology from yale [harvey risch, look up his qualifications and published papers] was calling for its widespread use, but no that's dangerous talk and we must only listen to tony fauci and his buddy bill gates.

You can add on top vitamin D, anti inflammatory steroid medicines, zinq, vitamin c/quercetin, all kinds of things could aid fighting this coronavirus, but that would ruin the mass vaccination program [and digital ID proof you've had it], and there would have been no 'great reset' to the world economy the davos people have lined up.

What helps (in the more severe cases) are blood thinners. At a Belgian hospital in the ICU they had 40% mortality rate at the beginning of the epidemic in March which lowered to 4% in later stages.

And before you ask: yes, HCQ was/is widely used here too.

If I had that much greasy food late at night I wouldn't be able to sleep

There are still a few honest professors and scientists with a conscience, and who respect scientific truth to be willing to go against this 2020 politically driven science.

You've only got to see the criticism aimed at sweden, for example what business is it of the dailymail to try to condemn and heap international shame on their scientist in charge, that's political propaganda work not true journalism.

tbf, the dailymail is the equiv of the American enqurier; a few snippets of truth, but a tabloid at its best

I agree I read about that too, HCQ might not work for everyone so I'm not against anything else being tried, but for the mainstream science to reject everything out of hand other than a steroid for people fighting the inflammation, it's just nonsensical and I know people have died in the uk and elsewhere who didn't need to, because doctors have been forbidden from using things like HCQ. They have their mind set on a vaccine and the digital system to prove you've had your shots.

Anything that endangers that outcome must be denounced. Even youtube banned all the videos of those doctors talking outside congress, why it's just morally wrong to suppress professionals from giving their opinion drawn from their actual experience treating covid 19.

edit: I've not seen any of our uk scientists/nhs spokespeople standing at that podium mention blood thinners, so to me they are just ignoring things that are being used elsewhere and making a difference.

I'm aiming to boycott it now as it's gone further downhill with it's virus coverage, it is a useful one stop shop to find out the day's main stories, and not behind a paywall, so good for posting bits to the forum, but their blatant attempts at directing the public's opinion are laughable and peeing me off :p

It's a fun read and there's some fine articles.
But...it's a very much....take, if not with a grain of salt, then a very heavy silo :)

I don't know why it was banned, I read the transcript and it was just weird but other than that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Politicians should let doctors do their job, don't push one or the other drug. I simply don't like the fact politicians are questioning doctors or scientists. This virus isn't left nor right leaning, it doesn't care about who you vote for.
The WHO is imho too politicised these days and should be reformed.

HCQ can be dangerous for some people, that's a fact. You can't just prescribe it as a GP and send people home with the prescription. It can have very serious side effects when used in higher dosages and everyone who takes it has to be monitored. That's the issue really, there is no real consensus on what dosage is adequate and therefor it shouldn't be used in home settings.

But as I understand it in some countries it is [or was] available over the counter without the need for a prescription [for malaria and travellers] and people with lupus and arthritis take it every day [with a prescription]. Obviously the dose needs to be right and not too high, it might only help the body by 30% to fight the virus in the early stages [so not a miracle cure] you could still go on to develop a bad case of the virus, but I'm convinced it helps otherwise senior and respected professors would'nt be advocating its use.

Same, without the smoking then... But I have this every summer so who knows really.
I just do what I always do; cough into my shirt, tell people, and use caution; might be a cold, might be covid, might be allergies

common sense, yanno?
and i sleep more, more water, and let my body do its sh...tuff

I don't know the exact details how much people have to take for malaria, lupus or arthritis. It might be under the treshold of the severe side effects? Perhaps people who take it daily for lupus or arthritis have get their heart checked first and/or take other medications together with it to make sure it doesn't affect their heartrhythm.

A bit like when you have to take anti-inflammatory drugs every day they also prescribe Omeprazole so you don't get an ulcer.

with the use of hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine to treat hospitalized patients with COVID-19 is now available. This includes reports of serious heart rhythm problems and other safety issues, including blood and lymph system disorders, kidney injuries, and liver problems and failure.

I'm not sure I want to risk heart problems, kidney injuries and liver failure for a drug with suspect efficacy

Most of the proposed lifting of restrictions was pretty pointless.

Opening Casino's and Pool Halls - won't affect most people. Although I am not sure why you can't stand in a bookies or a pub, but not a casino?

Allowing socially distanced concerts - can't imagine anything more pointless. Where is the atmosphere in a rock concert if you can't stand shoulder to shoulder and rock out. It might work for a beyonce concert, but a decent Death Metal concert would be a joke.

Allowing eye brow threading and make up - now I am really depressed - PMSL

Some of the shit they come out with really is a joke - people must stay 2m instead of 1.5m apart - really?, lets issue the police with tape measures. Or as the old saying goes, " it's only 12 inches but I don't use it as rule" :)

Madness, like burning down my house to kill that annoying fruit fly.
Restrictions are necessary, despite what some would believe CoronaVirus is not the Flu - the Flu does not put you into a coma or necessitate weeks on a ventilator, neither does it have long term effects once you have recovered. America is a perfect example of what happens when you let it get out of hand.

The issue is that our government had their heads up their arses from day one. If they had imposed masks in public places and other such issues at an early stage it would have limited the impact. But the sheer stupidity of saying "masks don't have an effect, and we must save them for the medical staff to keep them safe" just beggars belief.

I'm not an intellectual but even I can see the dichotomy in that statement.

Please shoot me

Skeletor - aka Chris Whitty - stating the country has ...."probably reached near the limits, or the limits, of what we can do in terms of opening up society"

New overnight rules banning separate households meeting indoors (oooohh please don't fine me off'cer)

'R'-rate actually going down, but they're not really sure

The fake platitudes eg "We're all in this together/ thanks to the combined efforts of the British people/ we must keep focussed/ get the 'absolute edge'" ......f*ck off

BoZo has well and truly "put the brakes on" (chortle)

It's at this point one wonders if they're actively trying to sabotage the economy and people's lives, or if they're just outright incompetents

Its not really how it was. 3-4 months ago there were global shortages of masks and other ppe so it was logical to give the front-line medical personal first dibs or there would be citizens hording masks leaving the medical people in even worse shape.

China bought up most of the supply of PPE around Feb. and turned around at least 1 cargo ship full of ppe destined for the US.

Not to mention international buyers showing up at US based ppe manufacturers' facilities with bags of cash to buy ppe already promised to other US buyers.

Even the US grabbed ppe meant for Canada.

Agreed that the medical grade masks were needed for professionals - but this isn't even what the government say people should wear now - they recommend masks, home made or otherwise, or just wrapping a scarf around your face.

If that works now - why did they not recommend it 3 months ago, I'm pretty sure they are using one of these to plan their strategy

A fairly decent timeline re: hydroxychloroquine.

Don't let the title fool you, it's an ok read (I guess, skimmed it like I do with most things in life).

Who knows but it was the same back and forth non-sense here. My guess is they were following the who, cdc recommendations. The cdc recommended wearing a mask/face covering early April. The who was in early june I think. I've been wearing mine for 2-3 months now but its not an N95.

Enough virus piffle...

Tonight i bring you all... pepperoni pizza, garlic and fresh peppers and herbs grown by me (plant pics included)
Extra cheese as we all need it and some chilli, topped with hand grown basil and oregano..

Also a small dish of chicken and Parmesan pasta fettuccini with garlic bread.

Couldn’t be bothered cooking loads so thought pizza and pasta would be superb.

Also ignore the beer can in the herbs pic (a friend must have left it lying around) the heathen!..

Hope your all good and wearing the old masks, not hard is it even for a far right lunatic like me!..

Horse riding Tomoz with Isabelle so won’t be a late evening, unless Bella Thorne pops over for ‘desert’

Smiles and man hugs
Ben :-)

Ibsen's An enemy of the people springs to mind.

Ive thought that from day one. How are we to fund our daily costs of over £2 BILLION, when we are trashing our businesses and workers who pay this huge daily bill.

I truly think we will have an unimaginable financial crisis come next year, and all for a virus thats not much worse than flu, and mainly effects the elderly who aren't part of the workforce and can social distance for as long as it takes if they want without financial detriment.

Again ignore corona and feast you’re eyes on my silly late night meal!..

Chips (skinny) go cold far too fast..
Chicken burger and rocket salad..
Wrap also chicken but with hot sauce..
And some well over cooked g bread (I’ll still eat it)

to drink Just a Juice with ice...

best regards and the biggest smiles since well... I became a member!..

Love those. Not massive over here sadly.
ya, a bit of summer yummy treat; generally speaking, a hot day, cold beer - but a drink on ice works too :)
