Good points in many posts, a collective thumbs up to all.
It seems there was some kind of a brawl Kroffe. But I hope it has settled down. Two members have very contrasting points of view and distinctly different way of expressing those views.
Coming from a family scattered across 3 continents myself, I've strong views about anything resembling racism, nationalism, superiority of any kind and the arrogance which is embedded in all of those consepts. But everyone is entitled to their views.
I'll discuss even those issues myself if needed, but they are not that interesting in the end. I'd rather listen to great music (yes @paul7388, great) and enjoy the sunshine outside and a cold beer in my hand.
That being said, I personally have nothing but respect for ALL MEMBERS HERE. Harry had a point. Ben had a point. Things got a bit out of hand, but we're all adults and I'm sure we can figure it out without bans, warnings or locked threads.
But Goatwack is on point. Let all the flowers bloom. Even better if they can be smoked.

Just popping that in here for the people who seem to think the deaths are being massively over reported and most of them would have died anyway. That is the weekly England and Wales death rate since 2015, up to week ending April 10th. After a mild winter, you would expect this year to be quite low, which it has been up until week 13 (w/e 20th March).
Are you saying the massive surge in deaths is mainly people who would have died anyway, and why suddenly a MASSIVE increase, at the time a deadly virus is kicking about if so?

Also saw the Lib Dems are calling for an enquiry into the slow response. Fair enough but cant we just rally round as one force to fight this for now?
Instead of political points scoring that has been seen from the start and continues to do nothing less than stiffle our focus and effort.

One of the few good things to come out of this epedemic is the massive improvement in air quallity.
Some of the before and after pics of cities are amazing.Just shows how nature can repair the damage

I've no issue with folk having a differing opinion. However I do recognise the difference between emotional posting and critical thinking. Attacking the post not the poster is a fundamental of moderating too.

I’m not a racist col. that’s my issue.
My thoughts are based on fact that’s happening in my area due to certain cultures and the massive problems they have brought, I’ve seen it and continue to daily. just like abuse in the Catholic Church, I’ve massive issues with that, also the anti black lot in the USA and here I find that abhorrent.
The world isn’t all happy and let’s love each other, that doesn’t work.
Again I’m made out to be the bad guy and I’m getting sick of it.
I’m a decent guy, help anyone when I can.
I’ll be 150% attending the Meister meet next year to speak to a certain few, unless of course I’m banned by then.
