I decided to bang out this review of Gates of Olympus. Only took me 30 seconds to do and it’s free for y’all.

*snip 1,568 spammy links removed*

Have you tried playing it yet? What do you think of the game?

Just reported my own post above! I didn’t realise that my AI generated review contained links to a competitor of Casinomeister…

Thanks for removing. Can’t be arsed doing it again as my options for removing links on my iPad are limited.
Yeah, I don't blame you, with Google there's always some kind of planted advertising for their customers. In this case riddled with the crap.

Sorry, but if you’re going to flog off AI-generated content as “writing” we’re going to have to alert the readership to what you are actually selling. AI-generated text is not writing, it’s clicking with verbiage. Big difference.

Later: after having seen several examples of the OP’s work I can’t say that it is obviously AI-generated. I withdraw my accusation.

I'm guessing the AI proofreading isn't much better if they're offering a "deal" for 100 articles, then forgot to mention the deal in the price list...

As @maxd has already mentioned, people need to be very careful with content writers and artists right now - the genuine authors and artists are getting drowned out by chatGPT chancers charging top dollar for none of the effort (and none of the quality). 🤡

Don't spam and definitely do not join linkedin

In all seriousness now though, is content writing still a thing, in terms of freelance writers or do most businesses do it "in house" these days?

I used to earn some extra dosh doing quite a bit of writing a few years back (basically losing this income killed my slots budget) and often wonder whether I should try and reignite this or leave it to the bots :p

Definitely still a thing. For example, the content writers for CM have always been freelancers — pretty much our whole crew was freelance for that matter — up until the recent change in ownership. We’re in the middle of a growth spurt and the new people coming into Content are company staff, FWIW. Our freelancers are still in place though, so there’s that.

To add to what Max has said above. Yes most definitely still a thing, many of the larger iGaming sites, whether they be player focused ie affiliate sites, or B2B sites, they in the main continue to employ freelancers. Who works alongside their full time staffers.

The only issue now though is with the advent of AI, rooting out those who use 'shortcuts' is paramount. But if you are au fait with the likes of ChatGPT et al, you can in the main off the bat, spot AI written content.

My content will be 100% AI-free, whether you order 1 or 100 articles. I guarantee that. You can check with any tool, and I bet you won't find any AI-generated content.

I didn't forget to mention the deal of 100 articles, but I was sure that if they wish to continue, they will contact me to know more. Of course, nobody is going to pay me in advance for the 100 articles. They will check my first article, and we will build trust. I want to attach one screenshot of originality.ai (paid version) showing my article results. please, I request you, if you dont need content, that is fine but dont spread hatred against me. There is a need to be kind not judgemental.

If anyone is interested in my writing services, I can provide a reference and a short article (as a sample).

How about this? Send me before 10am London time tomorrow 10 articles of the 1000 words length written this year, by you, to max.drayman@gmail.com along with a release statement saying I am free to read, examine and have them tested at a site or sites of my choice on the understanding that I won’t reprint, extract from or otherwise publish any of that material. If your material looks legitimate I’ll remove my warnings regarding AI content.

I doubt that is proving what you think it is. Such services have been widely criticised and/or debunked already - either they can't detect the AI-generated text in the first place, or simple tweaks make it "AI-free" when it clearly reads like ChatGPT or similar.

If I was to be brutally honest, that ~250 word snippet from the end of an article somewhat demonstrates the concern. There's a total of four points made (they develop slots; they might develop live casino and sports betting but you couldn't find details; they're a smaller provider; they integrate with other providers you named) and the rest feels like generic SEO waffle that tells the reader nothing.

Sure, I don't have any problem. I'll send you an email.

OK, articles received and reviewed as much as we feel necessary to conclude that your content is not obviously AI-generated. As agreed I will remove the warnings.

Hey, i know this woman, and she can write decent stuff. A few years ago, i used to order content from her for someone else's site, and her casino reviews ranked well.

I also tried around 30 articles from 'the best' on the GPWA forum for €200/2000 words, and most were crap (BS info, fluff, nonsense, hype, too casual wording, etc.). I had to edit it all myself and never complained about it... But should've done so and ideally, let others on the forum know.

She's definitely not an SEO expert, if anyone cares, but you don't need to be one. If someone is a good writer and knows their topic perfectly, everything (keywords, phrases, industry specific terms) goes in naturally.

One thing i doubt is how she can deliver the quantity of her offered articles. 50 is quite a bit, especially if they're aimed at being the best.
