Connection Problems

How come everytime some sort of connection problem pops up and even though every single thing internet related works perfectly on my computer including other casinos the casino automatically comes back and says it's my fault?

I just logged out of one casino which was working fine. I log into All Star Slots and make a little deposit. Start spinning and the slots spin forever. I reboot, reconnect to the casino, same thing. Spin 3 times, 4th time I get booted from the game with a connection issue message. Go back in, same thing.

Ok so I'll try some other stuff. Yahoo chat works fine. I download a 10 meg file in about 10 seconds. I flip around from webpage to webpage in Internet Explorer just as fast as always. I stream some music to my computer. Sounds fine.

Ok, lets try again. Spin 3 or 4 times and get booted out again. So I ask the Rep if they're having any issues. Nope. Nobody is having any problems with the casino but me.

Now I know a little more than some people about computers and a little less than others but I don't know how servers work. So how come I can do pretty much anything internet related perfectly including talk to the casino rep with no hassles or lag but it's my fault I can't connect to the casino server?

It's their casino server or one of them that is doing that Skiny, it's happened to me a few times over the past couple of days as well.

Well, if their servers can't handle their own traffic then get more servers or get less traffic but don't let players log on and then get booted out after every 10 or 20 lost spins.

And on top of that I can't even contact them and ask if the servers are too busy before I deposit or start wagering because apparently after going back and trying an hour or so later and having the same problem it's still my fault.

It may not be their servers, but their choice of ISP to handle their traffic. This would explain why only THEIR server boots you, whilst you enjoy full connectivity elsewhere. If the fault was YOUR end, including YOUR ISP, you would experience problems on a number of different websites and servers.

Many casinos use these "out of the way" places for their servers, which whilst having a VERY favourable tax and regulatory regime, will NOT have the "first world" levels of connectivity to the wider internet. What makes it worse is that these places often host the servers of MANY casinos, so if there is a bottleneck in the system, this will expose it.
The bottleneck might be an undersea cable, or bulk satellite link, since many of these licencing juristictions are small island states.
Kahnawake is an exception, sitting on a major trunk connecting Canada and the US, yet STILL there have been constant issues with being booted from casinos on their server farm, usually at certain times of the day, almost EVERY day, showing it NOT to be a random issue, but one caused by overloading at certain peak times.

But the standard answer is still "We have no problems here. It must be your fault."
