CON after software update extremely slow?

Ive now played at CON for the first time after they updated their software and experienced the game (BJ) to be extremely slow, much slower then it was before the update. Do you make the same experience and is there any way to acelerate the game?? If no and if this is the standartspeed now they wont see me again..
