Clubworld fees on deposits

I have been playing at clubworld and Aladdin's Gold and for a while when I used my card I was not charged a fee. It seems in the last few weeks they have new random processors that charge 2 bucks on a 35 deposit. With a 100 I was charged 5-7 dollars extra. I didn't notice right away because the mr token processor never charged extra fee. And I stopped using voucher pay due to its daily limits. I have emailed Clubworld a few days ago before New Years Eve and didn't get a response. And they are off on weekends. So Monday hopefully they will reply. Anyone else noticing these large fees tacked on? It's upsetting because I didn't agree to those extra charges. And now the min to deposit there is 35 plus now fees. Anyone else having high fees charged?

I get it 2 time,s for each charge.My bank and the casino processor,s, That is why i use the voucher,s from Mr.Token and i like to think of the daily limit of 4 voucher charge,s to be a way of limiting my play? It is a drag to be charged the fee,s But there is nothing you or I can do about that?And all thou I,am not a euro player I think these charge,s will be at most of the casino,s that you choose to play at and use your card.Unless you use whatever alternative the casino may have to assist you with limiting these fee,s? I know about voucher pay. I use it some. I used a card to deposit because there haven't been fees and it's easier to just deposit that way. I was just noticing recently the fees are more and I don't mean the international fee. When I would deposit it would never charge a fee. But it does now. And the fees are way higher. I really like Clubworld group. But tacking on an extra 5-7 for 100 bucks to deposit by CC is so high!

They are pretty good about things like that. I have the same problem but it seems a lot higher all of a sudden. I checked my account yesterday and it seemed not only was there an extra dollar plus on the charges of course then you get the international. It can play hell on you if you make a lot of deposits. I'm laying low on playing for the moment, I'm trying to decide whether I want to keep putting all that extra in! It adds up after a while that's for sure!

This is not happening on every single transaction and the volume is very low however it is occurring and very annoying not only for you.

We are more than happy to at least cover the charges and if you provide copy of the statement we then can speak to the financial institution.

This casino def has problems when it comes to depositing. The amount they over charge their members is ridiculous. So much so I would suggest no one plays there until they sort it out.

As a Canadian I am getting massively screwed on their exchange rate manipulation. But Im assuming it is done on purpose since they could easily add CAD as a currency.

The exchange rate being 40%. They are charging their customers 50%. Which is outrageous. You basically need to include a 10% deposit fee when playing here.

I think clubworld should advertise on their site they do this. Its very unfair to the players. The odds are already stacked against you and now the extra costs for depositing is outrageous and should not be tolerated at all.

You can give 1% either way for market fluctuation but 7-10% is illegal and incredibly shady

I suggest Canadians and looks like americans being over charged in other areas..stay very very far away from this casino.


I brought this up to their rep, I havent heard back yet. I am not in the business of donating $7-$10 just because.

First I know you have already offered to credit me for the overcharges. I will get you a copy soon. It really is a pain in the neck to have to get this done.

The overcharges are from the actual processor and not an international fee that follows later. Yes indeed there are plenty of processors that CW uses that charge the exact amount, but then there are others that do charge more. I have been in a related business of payment processing for almost 20 years. I can say that the overcharges are most definitely a percentage or flat amount that the processor adds when running the card.

I know it's a pain in the neck to find good processors but if CW is not in the know on these overcharges then it certainly should be a concern that the processor is arbitrarily adding amounts to a transaction. If the processor is saying some excuse about fee's from "intermediary bank fees" then why would they not handle it directly than with CW rather than overcharging customers. I guarantee you they have the ability to run the transaction for the exact amount.

This isn't the first time this has happened with processors, it just gets to be a pain to pursue it.

I have noticed that the times that i get hit with these "intermediary bank fees"is when I have used my 4 Mr.Token deposit,s for the day,and I still want to play? It is when I use my CC or debit that I get hit with these bad charge,s I really would like to know exactly how much I have been paying "In Total" and I,m sure it is not a small amount over the past 6 month,s. This is what needs to be done though. Stop playing and go elsewhere until they get it together. Last week was the first time I deposited there in a year. To be hit with an extra $15 in fees was absolutely disgusting....on a $100 deposit.

When the odds are already stacked against you to win....youre also getting rammed up the arse with outrageous fees.

Aside from not winning anything here since early 2014 and using $3000 in that time frame (both my own money and bonuses) and never getting ahead of my starting balance, I have had to close my account. After I saw I spent another $15 in fees depositing here on my recent loss, it really solidified my decision to leave once and for all.

God only knows how much ive been suckered by these fees all together here. Has to be deep into the hundreds.

Fair is fair. I know I bash the heck out of this casino for a long time because I find it impossible to win there. Just absolutely impossible.

That being said. After complaining to Karolina about being overcharged and being quite annoyed with everything to do with them. She sent me a message saying she understands my frustration of being overcharged...and credited my credit card $100.

I dont know a single casino in the world that would have done that.

Absolutely one of the best reps of any casino.

Hopefully clubworld figures this issue out though because it makes it damn expensive for people to play there.

Holy cow! I hadn't even noticed the extra amount on the charges. I always do "cents" as not to do a flat amount, so I didn't even notice. I also get dinged an international fee, but now with this one there is also a conversion fee (minimal). When you add it all up so far I've paid an extra $7 (so far, one hasn't posted which is when I get dinged on the internat'l fees) on $148, that's just one week. Thank you for bringing this to light.

Looking at this thread had me checking my bank statements. I dont see anything new on my end YET. But i have not had the time to fully go through them. I do see the usual banks chages for international fees but i have always had those at every deposit and never thought anything of it because sometimes they charge less to the bank than the actual deposit so it tends to balance out (not always but usually. That said the rules here applies the same as if ordered something from overseas and they shipped it to you. In addition to the cost of the item you have duty fees which cost a lot of money. Is it frustrating on the player end oh ya but at least with CWG they are fighting for the player not the banks who charge us an arm and a leg just to use our own money. Still reviewing my bank statements.

Messaging Karolina to see what can be done. looking at so far at over an additional $50.00 in fees from the banks and processors in addition to what they already charged in addition on the deposit and thats just since 12/4. So Karolina credited my gaming account with the entire cost of the amounts i was charged which was about $50.00 once she confirmed i was charged a conversion fee in addition to the other fees, those were just really painful to see Few nice wins on it but ended up losing it since it was credited anyway i wasnt worried about it. But just shows their customer service beats out everyone else.

Tonight for the first time I had extra charges show up on my pending transactions from voucher purchase. I was charged over 12% extra and have never seen this fee before. No more playing for me until this gets worked out. Digitoken says they did not charge the fee and my bank has never charged a fee before, plus since it is pending not posted I do not see how this can be a fee from my bank. Very frustrated right now.

I just made a deposit at AlladinsGold and when I went to my bank to check the voucher charge I was charged $4.24 more than the regular $35.00 that voucher has always charged? The fact that they did not charge anything for the deposit was a PLUS! But this a problem of significant proportion,s. I play ALOT at ClubWorld casino,s and this will change my play time I can,t guess if it is the processor or the casino? But this much of a change in price is a drag for sure. I play an average of 7 to 10 times a week-end and that work,s out to be a whole hell of a lot of charge,s that I can,t afford to pay and won,t. As of tonight im stopping playing CWG for a bit. Besides the fact that they have gotten a lot tighter on their slots than usual the fees stopped for awhile. Then tonight when i made a deposit i noticed they started again and then they went back retroactively and charged for the other ones (bank and processor fees added up). While im grateful to Karolina for the last time she credited my account with them, not really worth it to recredit again for 5 minutes of slot time which is about how long ive been able to play on their over the last several deposits. They have gotten tight again since the release of two new slots, seems to be historic with them. And i noticed that even after i clean out my cache, uninstall and reinstall the game, clean out registry everything possible, the slot games STILL every time u load them come up the exact same screen every time with the same slot characters so that's not being variable. That gives a 99% favorability to the house which doesn't work with me. May just be another RPG issue but if i cannot log into a game with fair odds just not playing.

Hey BMWSTACK! Just a few from my end. I just this week made a deposit at one of the clubworld
group thru the voucher system and I was very surprised to see it come off at my bank as some hotel app?

I made the usual deposit at Aladdin's Gold I believe and when I went to my bank after a terrible play? It was showing $36.67 for a $35.00 charge? This confused me as the main reason I use the voucher system is it is free. Or at least when I use it the amount I deposit is all that show's up at my bank?

So yes it's on again I guess I can't figure out why we poor pep's here in the states get the high hard? Not for nothing but I do wish it would stay the same and please don't bother with my money?

Don't get me wrong here ? I love slot's and I have had many many year's of fun and winning online. But if they can't stop with these charge's then it is an imperfect system and should be corrected. I understand that biz is biz? But it's hard to play when I'am constantly being abused by an imperfect system?

This latest bull is a bit much they have taken a great little way to deposit and made it into a lark.

FYI.. The fee this thread referes to is an actual overcharge on the deposit amount. The international charge always follows as a separate charge on all credit cad deposits.

For example if you deposited $40.00 in the cashier you would then be able to immediately see (online banking) a charge of say $43.00 ($3.00 overcharge)then a day or 2 later there would be a separate international charge. The international charge always happens but the actual overcharge I believe only happens with one processor. The immediate overcharge of $3.00 is the problem.

Different situation for me. I have never had international charges when using the voucher deposit. This is something new. Actually, the processor debited a few pennies less than my deposit but then I got the international charge which had not occurred with my bank before.

I have been overcharged on what looks to be over a hundred deposits. Around 3 dollars per charge. I am very upset. I didn't even realize this was happening until I read the forums here. OMG

I have had hundreds of dollars taken from me.

Example: DEBIT AUTHORIZATION May07 03:21a 9419AT 03:21$ 43.41
this was a $41.00 dollar deposit

this was a $50.00 dollar deposit

Clubworld only lets me go back one month..........

They showed me how to go back further and edited for corrections and to remove merchant names. etc..

I am sick to my stomach after finding this.I have just got to February and still see overcharges for literally every single deposit. There are hundreds of deposits. Some charges up to almost 4 dollars. looks to range from 1 dollar to 4 dollars. I have no clue how far I can go back. Talking with support now.

Update:

Spoke to support and they are going to work this out for me.

The charges go back to January ever since Mr.Token was removed. Prior to that I was always charged less $ per deposit. I sent them all my bank statements. At least its only 4 months and 1 week. So it shouldn't be too bad. Still a big chunk of money owed to me though. Thank god I found this post and saw spotted this.
