Hi everyone

I entered club777 casino, a rep. got on the live chat and offered me 100% up to 777$. Sounds good, right? So I made the deposit but no bonus came in.

Got back to the live chat and was told that it was a mistake made by the casino and I am not eligible for the bonus.

Well, I was disappointed and I cashed out the deposited amount (777$) without wagering even 1$.

The casino asked for documents, well, I guess they have the right to do so, they got it.
Then they asked for scanning of notarized ID. I think it's a little too much but I did it because I already had a scanning of a notarized ID I sent to some other casino.

Now they ask me to send them the notarized ID by mail which means I have to go again to the notary, spend time and money and send it by fed-ex to Gibraltar

I told them this is inappropriate but they insist. What can I do?

Things aren't going well for you are they when it comes to online casinos?

First you lost winnings after breaking bonus terms, and now you are being asked for notarized ID for a second time.

I have a few questions:

1. Why were you refused the bonus?

2. Why do casinos keep requesting notarized ID from you?

It's extremely rare for one to be asked for such drastic proof of identity, and even rarer on several occasions. It usually happens when there are serious doubts about ones bona fides e.g. fake IDs.

Provided you are legit, they should refund your deposit less any transaction fees (since you did not wager. The casino shouldn't have to absorb the costs in this situation)

You might consider a PAB, which you can access here:

I agree that asking for notarized ID is a bit drastic, and indicates that there may be more to this, than op is telling.
However, I strongly disagree, that op should pay ANY fees, if he's legit, and the casino wrongly offered him a bonus, and after he deposited the requested amount to get the bonus, didn't honor their offer.
If that;s the case, he simply needs his money back, and the casino should eat the fees, for their mistake. Furthermore they should cover any cost op may have, to mail documents that they think they need, unless they have this as a clearly stated term for all players....again....IF he is 100% legit.
Do the PAB thing, if you're absolutely sure, you're in the right....if not, well...then you screwed yourself, as so many before you ;)

If in fact they requested sensitive information to be sent by Fed Ex, that's not secure and an additional expense for you.

I'd PAB if you can.

If the op had confirmed eligibility for the bonus via live chat and they did not subsequently honour it why should they keep demanding this and that. Just return the deposit dammit.

I am unsure whether they are on probation or had already passed it but if the op believes he has nothing to hide a PAB is likely to yield results. Meanwhile, we should not simply judge the op on an earlier issue where he has clearly been proved wrong. He himself may be a bit hesitant to post because of it.

Of course they should honor his withdrawal.

However, it is important to know why the bonus offer was withdrawn. The 100% up to $777 is the welcome bonus. If he had already claimed it, he would know he wasn't eligible. The OP hasn't provided any evidence of the offer, and based on the fact he had trouble telling the truth in his last complaint, I wouldn't be prepared to take his word for anything quick frankly.

Lesson for newbs reading.....ALWAYS get bonus offers in writing via email before accepting, or at least copy/paste the chat session.

I am certain that important facts are, as per most complaints, being omitted either intentionally or otherwise.

Who are you writing to? You may have posted this by mistake in a thread that been dead for a year and a half!

This almost reads like a message in a bottle.
