Club World double charging on deposits

Everyday on Club World Casino I keep getting double charged on my deposits. Say I put $50 on, well the screen skips and charges me double. EVERYDAY. I have constantly complained and they say they will fix it. They haven't. Just now I contacted them and they say they do see where it double charged me and they want my monthly statement to see it... are you serious?? I get a monthly statement once a month and she just said she sees where it double charged me but still wants my statement...??? Does anybody else have this double charging problem? Because this seems like a scam to me. Been happening for 6 months now and I thought Club World Casinos group was a respectable group...
 
OK, have you contacted Tom here? Look under i-Gaming Reps and send him a PM. This should be done first.

If you are using a certain card, charges can show up as pending for a day or so and then the real charge will come thru and the pending one will fall off. For a day, it can show up as a double charge.

If the charge is a penny or so off, on this particular card, it can take as long as a month or as short as a week for the double charge to fall off.

The reason I am not using the card name is it's usable for US players and this thread is open for all to read. If you can get Maxd or CM to move it to America the Beautiful, I can give more info.

Can you show us the correspondence eg email, live chat where they say they notice you were double-charged yet still requested to see your monthly statement.
 
Ya, I'm not too sure why we still played on this casino when they have been double charging for 6 months. We stopped tonight, finally, and went with SlotOcash so we'll see.

Just a question, do you play with bonuses and if so, do you get the bonus twice?

Are you using the cc option or Easy Debit. I'm not being nosy, just confused on all this.

I know that if you hit the back button while the cc option is processing, it can double charge you.

The reason I made my request on the correspondence was that I wanted to know whether they had admitted these were double-charges or simply because they noticed you had deposited the same amount twice in quick succession. If its the former and they still insisted on statements then they are not being reasonable. That said, it is unlikely that a player would attempt to deposit equal amounts within a short period of each other and on several occasions too. Usually they will play with the first deposit first and if they bust they make another deposit. Incidentally I made 5 deposits of equal size at CW yesterday but each time only after I had busted on the previous deposit.:D

Honestly it sounds like a card processor issue as it doesn't appear to be happening to other members at CM. What deposit method do you use as this may be the problem if identified?

I honestly think it is has to be the card processor because I do not ever hit the back button or any button for that matter when I am waiting on the deposit to process. The processor skips and when it does that I know it has double charged me.

Sometimes I did not complain when they double charged me because it had just become a daily thing and I would just play it. (stupid I know) But when I would complain they ALWAYS noticed when it double charged me, and just until yesterday was the first time they have even asked for my bank statement. I know they see it because they tell me and then they say they have been trying to fix this problem.

I do play a bonus almost on every deposit. I only get the bonus once tho. Say I put $25 on with a 100% match well it charges me $50 but only gives me $25 bonus. Almost everytime and I never hit the back button when it is processing. Never. I also use the CC option. The Easy Debit has NEVER double charged me. I use Mastercard and Visa and it double charges both. And I did write 2 people yesterday about this situation so I will look for Tom's profile now, thank you!

If you wanted to make a $25 deposit and take a bonus, then play until you win or or bust out, that would be fine. And it would be fine to make another deposit, and either take another bonus or play with your own money.

I myself would not have continued that long. You were at a serious disadvantage in your play to have your own bonus free money tied to a WR, without the corresponding benefit of the bankroll boost you get from a bonus.

IMO a fair resolution would be a special free chip WITH NO MAX CASHOUT (because CW's deposit bonuses don't have one) totalling the sum of these fettered second charges, with similar terms to the matches claimed. There's no guarantee of a win, but there wasn't on the original deposits either, but since the ongoing acknowledged problem was through no fault of your own, they need to do something to help make that right.

Of course, CW could do more than that, and it would be admirable if they did, but I suggest the above might be an acceptable reparation.

Maybe not Jazzy. The cashier at RTG is very clearcut on which of the funds are held hostage to the bonus. The second bonus will be listed in the cashier as withdrawable I believe.

Yes,This happens every time to me as well.I also have complained numerous times.Lucky Red every time does it.Then it takes 10 days to get back.They can do it instant,but say,blah,blah,blah.32Red,Spin palace refund instant,so it cant be done in this day and age is absolute BS.They are losing me Club World.Get your act together,address the problem.

Yes is a simple answer.EVERY TIME at CLUBWORLD double charge.Only at clubworld.I play at 60 other sites,it never happens anywhere else.

I doubt whether CW would intentionally overcharge though its best that you avoid them till these problems are solved. My guess is that they are using the cheapest processor available leading to the double charges and the apparent tardiness in payments. While it makes business sense in lowering operational costs a minimum level of service must be maintained and I am sorry to say doublecharging just isnt acceptable especially when the support staff are unable to rectify the situstion immediately.

You are right Chuchu59, my second $25 was always in the Cash. Which was also a concern to me.

Seriously, it has happened to others but it is my fault??!! Not acceptable. Ya I'm done with Club World Group, horrible service and in the end they blame the player.... WOW! :what:
 
Well it's good to know, that the problem with customers computers, only exist, when they deposit at CW...that way people know, how to avoid the problem, right ? ;)

Wrote it off? These arent bad debts. They are overcharges! They cant make a verdict like that. Dont let it go. If I were you and it happened to me as a matter of course I would go after them like a maniac.

Tom, if you are watching this thread do the right thing and compensate the player. Show that CW is worthy of its accreditation.

Seriously, you have to take care of your own business. This was a problem, you didn't get an answer or any help, then stop depositing there. CW is not the only good RTG casino out there. If you don't get an email answer, then PM Tom here. If you don't get an answer in a reasonable amount of time, then pick up the phone and call them. If that doesn't work, that's what Maxd is for. PitchABitch and see if he can get an answer.

My solution to the problem, if you just have to play at CW, use a prepaid card and only put in what you are going to play at that moment. PIA but at least you can't be double charged.

While Bambi (not the animated character lol) should have questioned CW on the double charges it does not mean that CW is free to simply state the doublecharging is due to the player's computer. This doesnt make sense and it seems the casino is doing that because the player didnt pester them enough. December is a festive month and he/she may just have been in the mood to play without going through the hassle of communicating endlessly with CW and I am sorry to say this is an area the casino does not excel on.
 
I agree with everyone

I know this is my fault for still depositing BUT it doesn't make it ok for them to keep double charging. I did contact them SEVERAL times about this through IM's and also email AND also phone calls. This was my only and favorite casino. Not anymore, but it was. It's a fifty-fifty street here and the only winner is Club World! Period.
