I went to open up an account with Click2pay (I'm Canadian btw) to use with an online casino. After reading most of the information on the site, i was about to transfer money from bank account to my click2pay account when i found that.

You can only withdraw money from your click2pay via checks. And each check cost 20$. I mean are they serious ? They can tranfer money from my bank but not the other way around ?

So i'm wondering, any other canadians using them ? I don't know but a 20$ a piece per check, if i withraw 1 per week, that's 80$ per month... kinda expensive no ?

Run Forrest run..... I hate C2P, and always have. Their support can be totally non-existent at times, and they left many US players stranded with money in their accounts, and no way to withdraw it. Initially, they were allowed to withdraw back to their bank accounts, but it had to be a minimum of $1,500. I expect that Canada will be next on their hit list.

Personally, for deposits I use the prepaid Mastercard available at Moneymart. It is accepted at every casino I play at (so far, knock on wood). For withdrawals, I use Moneybookers. It's instant, they have person to person transfer via email...and you can fund it either by credit card or bank wire. I get any cashouts I may have sent to that, and withdraw via cheque, which usually reaches me within 7 business days or so. You can also withdraw back to your bank account. They do have quite an elaborate security procedure in place, but once everything is approved, you're good to go. I've never had a problem with them.

I also use Payspark but that will only work with Microgaming casinos, and alas not 32Red. But they do have that nifty ATM card, so as soon as a cashout hits my account, I'm at the bank machine to withdraw it.

I would steer far clear of C2P, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks for that info. Do you know how Wire transfer work ? I saw several casino offering that as a withraw option. Do I just put my bank account info on their site and they will tranfer the money directly to my bank account ?

I can't help you there Kaynos. I don't tie anything to do with gambling into a bank account. Only available, disposable money for deposits...and payouts via cheque or ATM card.

For me I'll never trust another 3rd party money transfer outfit... they are all a bunch of rip-off scumbags as far as I am concerned.

Dealing direct with the casino is the best way.

Wire transfers are OK. The Casino Support should be able to answer your questions about doing a wire transfer.

I'd tend to agree with you Lots0. We've all seen how quickly things can change, and with zero warning. I never leave money in any EWallet. As soon as a cashout hits my Payspark, I'm at the ATM within an hour to withdraw it all. As soon as a cashout hits Moneybookers, if it's a substantial amount, I immediately request a payout via cheque. I may leave $50 or $100 in it to play with, but no way am I leaving a large amount of money just sitting there.

Opened a C2P account, withdrew once and won't never use it

I withdrew around 2K USD to my C2P account and it became CAD into my C2P.
When I withdrew the CADs became a EURO check!
When I deposited the EURO check to my bank, it became CAD again.
I lost $60 CADs!!
I won't use it.

Hmmmmm... interesting thread. I have seriously been considering a C2P account mostly to use at Inetbet.. the MG's I play at take Instadebit which I am finding works rather well. But.. I think I'll steer clear of C2P, I guess my initial thought was correct and it's not a good plan. Maybe I'll have to go try one of those pre-paid cards from moneymart... what is the minimum you can load onto of those things?

The MG ? I'm looking for Casino that accept Instadebit but NOT just as a deposit method. So far i havent found any. Most allow deposit but when you check their withdrawal page, instadebit is never there.

I think the minimum load is $10 Jenn, maybe even less. I usually never put less than $25 at a time. It works just fine at Inetbet. And then I withdraw via Moneybookers, or you could do a bank transfer I guess to withdraw. I just prefer Moneybookers. I request my cheque and have it in about a week.

Moneybookers is the best choice for Canadians.
However, my MB A/C was blocked months ago.
I usually use Check and bank Wire now.

Click2Pay always has technical problems when I withdraw a large amount to my debit card and money is being transferred about 2 weeks. If I withdraw a small amount <$300 it is arrived to my debit card very quickly.

I'd hardly call those "technical problems" ;)

They want to keep those larger sums as long as they can to collect more interest on it.

Look at what they're doing to the millions of $'s from Americans....at least with Neteller they're stringing people along. C2P simply shut out all Americans and scewed them.

why not withdraw by check from C2P?
It's very fast!
No it's not very fast for my country. To cash out the check usually takes 1 month and it goes about 2 weeks, so I can see my money in 1,5 months.
It's better to wait 2 weeks of their technical problems and withdraw them from the debit card.
