Didnt the rep at this Board reply to you? I had a query on Racetrack casino and he responded to me in a day's time ie yesterday.

I just now left a private message to GamingPromo and pointed him/her to this thread. Thanks, chuchu.

I haven't heard yet from GamingPromo. His profile says he/she last visited 9/20 and I pm'd him/her 9/21.

But I did have a looooong chat with "Mike" from City Club casino. He says that due to the fact that I played blackjack and slots, combined play of $180, that I can't get my deposit back. Had I not played any games, he said there wouldn't been a problem with returning my deposit. He said that if I won the jackpot in slots, would I have been complaining? His justification is that the casino can't take the risk of people losing then requesting their deposit back.

Once I saw the $50 maximum bet limit in blackjack, I stopped all play. But that didn't matter to them. Almighty God Policy is set in stone and I've sinned. My $99 is the sacrifical lamb.

Is this the normal policy of online casinos to not give just your deposit back even if you have winnings? I've always thought that casinos would just take out the winnings and bonus money if you don't meet wagering requirements. City Club casino keeps it regardless.

Jeeze! I've just checked out this thread. WTF?

Westland Bowl, did you Neteller your funds to them? If so please PM me your Neteller email.

As I see it, if the player decides that they no longer want to participate in a promo because of disatisfaction, there should be no problem in returning funds. It's not like $99 is going to break anyone.

I see it that way too. Yes, I did Neteller'd the funds. I PM'd you the Neteller email. Thanks, Bryan for looking into this.

$99 isn't going to break me, nor will it break a casino - see how easy that was? You should have your $99 now.

This is just a small page out of Casino Management 101. Don't be so freaking stuck on the rules - you wrote them, you can override them. Sheesh!

This is not in sync to what is expected of casinos listed at Casinomeister - this is not the first time that there has been support problems with City Club, and I'm just tired of this crap.

If they end up paying you, feel free to visit my "wish list". :D

Thank you very much, Bryan! The money is in my Neteller account! I certainly will not double-dip if City Club casino does what is right and refund my $99 deposit....and I'll apply it toward your wish-list! :)

Casinomeister even took care of the Neteller fee that would have ate into the $99 had he not!! :)

City Club Casino

I wonder why Bryan hasn't intervened in this matter. Have you PM'd him? This is very shady for an accredited casino to be acting.

Especially since their "fun" mode has limits that are quite different than real play.

Dear player,

We apologize for not posting the response at this forum sooner, however online support city club casino has explained to you the reasons on the 23rd September why you can not withdraw your deposits at this stage.

Nevertheless, we will post them again here:

Bets placed on all card games, table games, and, video poker games do not count towards the wager requirement
If you make a withdrawal before wagering 20 (twenty) times your deposit and bonus on games included in this promotion, the bonus money and winnings will be removed from your account. If you withdraw before meeting the minimum wager requisites, your bonus and winnings will be annulled.

We would also like you to know that the moment your VIP status become higher ( from VIP1 to VIP2 ) the maximum bet in blackjack changes to $300.
City Club will be happy to compensate for your troubles with the loyalty bonus, in case you decide to continue playing.

Best regards,
GamingPromo

I don't believe this - talk about being thick headed. The play through requirements had nothing to do with this. The player wanted out of the casino - he was dissatisfied with the casino games and just wanted his money back. That's it.

This is not rocket science. You should have looked beyond the terms and conditions to see if an exception should have been made. It should have - it was a nobrainer. The guy made a $99 deposit and didn't like what he was dealing with.

For me to intervene in this is pretty sad - and for me to pay the guy $99 out of my own pocket is pretty pathetic since I felt there was no reason for you to not to honor his meager request.

This is unbecoming of a casino listed here, and to ask the guy to continue to play is a bit out of line in my opinion.

So either send him his deposit back, or send it to me. Either way, you owe somebody $99 bucks.

Thank you GamingPromo for (finally) answering. To help readers understand very clearly what City Club casino's is saying above in their Terms and Conditions is that when the bonus money and winnings are "removed from your account" and "annulled", they are NOT saying that your deposit (or whatever is left of it) is now withdrawn back to you but rather IT STAYS WITH THEM, in your account WITH THEM. AND YOU STILL CAN"T WITHDRAW IT EVEN THEN!!! This is what "Mike" in chat I mentioned earlier told me. So now I wouild be without my bonus money and prior winnings and STILL would have to meet wagering requirements in order to have any hope of getting my deposit back! Unbelievable! Kinda of reminds me of dealing with the US government sometimes.

After all of this, City Club casino has finally given me my deposit! Since Casinomeister himself already paid me out of his own funds for my troubles, I will honor that by visiting his wish-list as he requested.

Edit: Can't find the durn wish list.....didn't it used to be a link on top of the main site????

It's at the bottom of some of Bryan's posts (for some reason, not at the bottom of his most recent one in this thread):

GamingPromo response

GamingPromo values Bryan's help regarding player's withdrawal request. Our previous post contains wrong information. With Bryan's assistance the mistake has been resolved and the player's deposit request was processed. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Taking us off the "recommended casinos list" is actually appreciated. We no longer want to appear there, since the players referred from casinomeister's website are mainly bonus seekers and only wish to take advantage of the casino and of our loyalty.

Nevertheless, we are always glad to hear comments, suggestions and complaints in order to improve our services.

Sincerely,
GamingPromo

Do I smell sour grapes? :D

Nice going - you just insulted the entire Casinomeister community.

By the way, does your boss know that you just posted these disparaging remarks in a public forum? You'd better get him on the phone real quick like because you probably just seriously effed up.

To be clear, I never joined City Club casino in order to "take advantage" of the casino and the bonus(es). I joined because City Club was accredited by Casinomeister as being trustworthy and was a Playtech casino, which I enjoy their blackjack game. The bonus did not matter. But when I found out that the card games at City Club casino had really low maximum bet limits of only $50 (for non-VIP players as it turns out), I didn't want to play there anymore. For me, that is like trying to play card games in a room that is only 3-feet high.

Being on Casinomeister's accredited casinos list help bring publicity to various casinos as being trustworthy and I assume Bryan has done his homework in reviewing/examining each casino or casino group. To be taken off the list, well, in my opinion, is not good for the casino. If City Club really wanted off the accredited listing then they should have done so long before my fiasco came around.

Now that is funny ... all it would take is to look at just a few of Bryan's posts to see that he himself doesn't use bonuses and believes that most of them should be done away with.

Not that I personally agree, but that's the beauty of this forum ...

I've aptly renamed this thread from "City Club Casino extremely low maximum bet" to what it is now.

I simply felt that this casino's handling of this player's issue was sub-par, and I took them off the site. This is my prerogative; my tolerance level for inept customer service for an "Accredited Casino" is way low. They did not react promptly and professionally - not even to my inquiries, and that's not a good thing to do. But for them to come back and insult the Casinomeister community, well - this is unprecedented and is way out of line.

Go away and good riddance.

Glad I never played there, and no one should EVER play there with their recent display of "customer service". Truly juvenile..."I'm taking my ball and my net and i'm going home".

I have to wonder whether this GamingPromo person has any management skills whatsoever. But then perhaps he or she is not a manager anyway.

Either way, to gratuitously, falsely and very publicly insult both players and a webmaster trying to assist the casino to resolve an issue is a serious misjudgement which I am pretty sure the casino owner will not appreciate.

This was a BIG mistake, fella, but perhaps not too late to rectify.
