Chrome: "Mouse over" tips not showing - any cures please?

I'm using the latest Google Chrome browser (Version 33.0.1750.154 m) - but "mouse over" hints are not showing.

e.g. Where things like RTP, WR, AFAIK appear on the forum, in other browsers (ie & Firefox), when I point at them a text box with the definition appears.
On Chrome it does not work (a question mark appears next to the mouse pointer - but nothing else).

Anyone know if there's a setting in Chrome I can change?

I am always using Chrome and it's working fine here..

When you look at you address bar, do you perhaps see a little picture of an envelope with a red cross through it? that would imply something is being blocked, and you can then click on that and change settings accordingly.

Well it certainly works in chrome.


Maybe it's an addon interfering or bad cache, does it still happen if you launch the site in incognito mode(Ctrl+Shift+N)? if it works while in incognito it might be an addon or the cache. You could try a hard refresh of the site (Ctrl+ F5), if that doesn't work you might have to clear the entire cache of the browser, or it could be something entirely different, i would try these things first though.

im not an expert on this but i had problems with mine and brought it to the shop and he fixed it by hand picking through the system and deleting things then installed FIRE FOX by MOZILLA and things have been fine for six months now
