After hearing that a lot of people here like CR, I opened an account and made my 1st deposit. Play was going quite well and I got a popup saying i had to call them to verify my info or else my account would be terminated. Through the entire multitude of casinos i've played at online, I have never once been asked to call any of them, even when i cash out. If there's a problem, email and live chat more than suffice.
I don't discuss private info by phone to anyone, let alone some online casino in another country. I told them all this in live chat and they said "it's their policy" to require phone verification. If that's true, then why didn't they require it BEFORE they let me deposit? Now my cash is in there and I can't get it out. No other casino i've spent at has ever asked this. Money is money, and they don't really care about your info until it's time for them to pay YOU.
I have sent a refund request to the casino. They better have the $ back in my account right away.
this phone requirement is the most ridiculous thing i have heard. You have to verify who you are (after filling out all your info once already at signup) just to play? Can you imagine a land-based casino asking to see your personal info every time you put money in a machine? Insane.
Anyone else go through this? I sure wouldn't give them a nickel if i knew had to call them 1st. sheesh.
