Casumo Affiliate Spam Problem

You mean this?

View attachment 81224

In its tiny print terms it says to be eligible you have to make a post at Facebook. Are you sure this is not an exclusive promo for this affiliate? Perhaps the Casumo rep can let us know.

Hi Bryan, Colin.

Apologies this must have been missed.

This offer is not correct, we do not offer exclusives, so anything like this that you see please get in touch.

Please reload the offer it has been changed to show "Deposit & get 200% up to £50"

Best Regards
Stephen.

Thanks for getting it changed, however it begs the question, why was it showing 300% in the first place. These are a massive affiliate for you, so surely know the welcome offer by now, it's not like it changes, and every single time one of their misleading ads appear, we are told, oh it was an error, a mistake. Every single time, the 'mistake' inflates the bonus offer, if it were a genuine mistake how come it never says 100% or 20 free spins instead of 200%/200 spins?

Any luck getting a winners list from them for their Facebook promo mentioned on that page?

Hi Colin,

I totally understand your frustration on this, the affiliate in question has made many mistakes but they are working with us to be 100% compliant.

We've dealt with this internally and they now understand the importance of doing things by the book.

Thanks,
Stephen

Apart from the obvious, advertising on a site that facilitates copyright infringement is a massive no no is it not?

Hey Colin,

We have requested to be removed completely from this site, once we receive confirmation it is done we will post here.

Best Regards
Stephen

Just to confirm we have now been removed from the site.

thanks
Your recent affiliate mailings were very clear that any affiliate not conforming to the rules would have the account terminated immediately, and there were no exceptions, yet the tracking links are still working. Surely when you terminate an account the tracking links should be disabled or 404'd so you don't profit from spam or illegal adverts?

casumomorespam.webp

Can you get the proof of opt in for that one please (a hint, you won't be able to, if you want to just kill the account now)

Nice £12000 bonus offer you are doing now too :(

No terms and conditions, 20 free spins every day...what forever?

thanks

Anyone who is not working with us to be 100% compliant will have their account closed, those who are prepared to work with us and change their marketing strategies we will work with to improve. of course repeat offenders will be punished but as I said previously I am not going to discuss that punishment with this forum.

I'm sure people will agree that the spam issue is being worked on and is getting much much better. We have seen a dramatic decrease of complaints over the last 3 weeks and we are working hard to get those complaints down to zero.

Also, could you please give me your email address and a tracking link in direct mail so I can look in this properly.

With all due respect your email stated

Now please pay very close attention: IF you do not comply with our T&C's and the current market regulations, there will be no other way for us than to close your account. It's as simple as that. We cannot make any exceptions and there is no room for inconsistencies.

It sounds to me as if your words are just that, you have sent enough emails recently to ensure that ALL affiliates are fully aware of the rules, yet despite being extremely clear about closing accounts if the rules are broken, you clearly aren't doing that.

The tracking link for the spammer is

I'll pm it to you too with my email address, if you would like the email forwarding then just let me know an email address :)

Betting firms could be fined over ads 'targeting vulnerable people'

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

These are being discussed in the affiliate forum at the moment, I don't believe the casino's concerned didn't see the adverts before they went live as they are an ad agency not a traditional affiliate apparently. If they didn't approve them then wtf are they doing, did they say, heres a ton of cash, we don't care where or how you advertise?

Wheres my proof of opt in Casumoaffiliates?

Listen mate, I know & I think you know and the rest of us know, this top false adverts are not from genuine affiliates trying to make a few quid but are closer to the source, I will bet my last spin that these adverts are clearly paned out, you have clearly shown that nothing has been done about it or just wording has been changed and not at its best.

I have nothing against Casumo but I do about the spam. The above post by slot_zombie was a good find, maybe its worth paying for the bul shit storys if the adverts out weights the fines but belive me they wil come unstuck once they get struck of the UK gaming commission. I know the U.K have gone over board on some rubbish such as health and safty and the V.A.T to line there own pokets but they are clamping down on this false adverts, we pre warned casumo long time back and yourself have done the upmost to sort the spam out yet not much has been changed

I've received no less than SIX e-mails from Casumo Affiliate spammers in the space of 12 hours. With all of them coming with attachments, which I ain't touching with a barge pole.

In all seriousness, when the FUCK are Casumo actually going to get on top of this bullcrap?

OR is it a case of "oh we got our CM accreditation back, now let's get back to spamming business as usual"?

First spammer (message split into three parts with slight overlapping)

spam1.webp
spam2.webp
spam3.webp

Second spammer (top of message only, but the rest is exactly the same as the first - only the sender's e-mail addy is different)

Why don't Casumo just shut their affiliate scheme down and be done with it? Their reputation is going down the shitter. Maybe then after three months or so if they feel they need to they can start it up again with a fresh sign-up process so they can vet each affiliate member and monitor things properly. I would have joined that site ages ago had it not been for the spam I keep seeing.

That's hardly fair on us genuine honest affiliates who would never dream of doing any sort of black-hat or unsolicited BS marketing :(
It's already hard enough to get players there as they do so much TV advertising.

But I agree with your second sentence - they need to get totally on top of this, and fast!

Thats not fair on the thousands of affiliates who do play by the rules. No need for any casino to turn into thieves like Skybet, all they need to do is actually monitor affiliates, and actually close accounts when they repeatedly break rules, or if they get caught spamming.

Casinos should realise not only does black hat/spamming put off customers, it also puts off affiliates. I would love to promote casumo as from a player perspective they are extremely good, but I won't give space to them (well not good space) as my statements of 20 free no deposit spins, 200% bonus up to £50 doesn't cut it against the likes of the affiliates in this thread who proudly announce 200 free spins, £1200 deposit bonus, 200% deposit bonus with no limit specified, no T&C's on the advert, or within one click (which they should be but casumo seem to ignore) and then dodgy practices of saying 200 free spins against a backdrop of game of thrones (to give the impression thats the game you play them on) when they are actually on starburst. No point me promoting them as, unless I breach advertising guidelines, I can't compete.

Misleading ?!?

This just came up on my FB page. I thought it was Leovegas advertisement but after opening it in safari, I’m reading exactly the same story about Casumo. Copy-pasted it again to find out that the casino has changed to Leovegas again ...copy-paste again - it’s Casumo now.
Anyway - I could not understand what’s the game that Tomlins created where “ 7million can be won every second “? Not to mention the comments of the so callled “real users” that have already won thousands from the “second spin”!

Looks like a Casino rewards a-like Ad!!

You can also see the popular casino streamer LetsGiveItaSpin....

So if anyone fancies a Porsche for 20 quid ...

When I click that I get nothing like what you have screenshotted

Do you have a link to the facebook ad? (like it then go to activity log, then if you click the post the full url should come up in the browser, unless you're using the app)[/QUOTE

Hm.... it still works when I click on it Colin. I have just tried it ...

I just get a blog about the car, no adverts at all, even turned ad block off and still the same. Massive white spaces on the page though.

If I could get a link to the article I can have it taken down, from what I can read on the Casumo article its not even close to compliant or true.

When I click on the link provided I see nothing but an article about a Porsche.

I’ve just clicked on it and it works guys.

Please note I’m on a mobile !!!! I was on the Facebook App when first seen it last night, clicked on it to open it in safari and then copied the link .

I just tried on my mobile on both Safari and Chrome and got the same Porsche advert Perhaps its only available to view in the UK.

Could somebody who has the article up grab the tracking link for me? That way I can identify the affiliate and get to the bottom of this.

Thanks again
Stephen

I am in UK and couldn't see it either, however here you go

Page goes to

Which then directs to

I hope you actually close this one Stephen, its one of the worst I have seen

It looks like he also promotes casino rewards (theres a surprise)

<link rel="dns-prefetch" href="http://promo2.c-rewards.com/rea/pop/en/gmd/1/">
<link rel="prerender" href="http://promo2.c-rewards.com/rea/pop/en/gmd/1/">

If you click you are under 18 you also get directed to casumo

So thats multiple lies and promoting gambling to under 18's

Yep, top affiliate there!

Sorry. I tried. It did briefly flash up Casumo affiliates in the address bar and a blank page. but there was no tracking code or anything.

Then it went to what appears to casumo's sign up page.

So I entered some false details, and an account was opened.

maybe you can track the affiliate who's linked to an account opened about 10 minutes ago..

registered email [email protected]
username thumper6
address 2 king street

Apologies I meant to post yesterday. The affiliate account mentioned above has been closed, we are waiting for a reply from the affiliate so we can get all mention of Casumo removed from any of his posts.

Best Regards
Stephen.

Another Casumo spammer in my junk mail. Can you kindly give me an email address to forward this to?

The link redirects to Mega Casino but your name is plastered all over the spam.

Nate

You can feel free to direct message here with your email address a screen-grab of the mail and a tracking link.

Alternatively you can email [email protected].

Best Regards
Stephen
