CasinoRewards spam now this.

I am pasting a spam mail here, I would like to know if anyone else it getting it. It is coming 2 or 3 times a day now, and its appearance has coincided with numerous casinorewards spam:

This comes from many different addresses like the CR crap.


This spam has started in the last 2 weeks, and the only casinos i joined in that time were ClubGold and bet-at.eu neither of which are in the CR group.
I would say it's likely somebody in a legitimate casino has sold on mail addresses to spammers/affiliate groups. The reason I say this is because when I worked in sales, list of leads and likely buyers were always being taken by leaving employees to smooth their path at new employers. It does go on.

So, anyone else getting this stupid e-mail, co-inciding with their CR spam?

wow that's an old scam, its called pump and dump.

a few years ago there were tons of penny stock spams being sent.

basically you buy the penny stock, mass email spam it, when/if people buy it drives up the price and the spammer sells it.
the sec (security and exchange commission) cracked down on it if I remember correctly. I think I even forwarded some of those penny stock spam emails I received to the sec back then.

Simple answer for me, no.

I do get the CR stuff regularly and also get pump and dump stuff (not the above one particularly though), but typically on different email addresses.
From the patterns I see, I don't think this is directly related.

I am being bombarded by CasinoRewards every single day, but no, I haven`t received that one. Yet
And no new spam around time I joined bet-at or ClubGold.

OK chaps, thanks for feedback. I haven't had it today (yet) and I can only assume by your replies it must be unrelated. Still a mystery though.

I haven't been getting any mails like that - mine are currently casino spams but the past few days I've been getting lots of 'male enhancment' and 'Hi huny this is Julie cum look at my pics' type of crap. IMO they're doing it to annoy me with all the spelling errors.

I am being bombarded by CasinoRewards every single day, but no, I haven`t received that one.

I get bombarded with Rewards spam to 2 email addresses and I also get this pump and dump crap as of this week - but to an email address that isn't on Rewards radar so I don't think they are related.
