The list for Wager Works casinos and their status at Casinomeister and points of contact has been completed and uploaded.

You can check it out here:

If you see any errors or typos - just let me know :p

Playtech is in the works as well...should be up by the end of the week.

Nice work

Bet365 Casino should probably read as Bet365 Games as the casino sware is Playtech.

As an aside, I'd suggest putting target="_blank" on the links so they open in a new window as you have to keep going back to find your list.

Thanks Bryan - nice work!

Next time you chat to a WW rep, could you ask them when they plan to let Aussie players enjoy all of their slots?

Some places allow some of the slots to be played, but I found this out the hard way after depositing and taking a bonus only to find there was about 20% of the slots that I was allowed to access and the min bet was $4.50! I even checked beforehand with support who said "Yeah we allow Aussie players no problem!".

Anyway, Ive heard the problem is the game providers but I dont see how they could get into trouble given that they dont accept the bets.

If there is any further info you could get I would be grateful.

Cheers!

I can answer that :) Yes it's Wagerworks (who are IGT owned) who impose the restriction so that IGT remain on the right side of the law in every jurisdiction.

However, I spoke to them a couple of weeks ago for an update and they said they are reviewing the policy on a regular basis because they would prefer to be able to accept other countries (obvious really) but that a decision will depend entirely on legalities and regulation in each territory.

They suggested it WILL happen eventually, but very unlikely to be this year unless regulatory changes are made in each dependent country.

FWIW, the Alderney licensing authority (where most of the casinos are licenced) do not impose country restrictions on licencees.

So it really comes down to IGT having some kind of physical business presence in Australia (I know they provide gaming machines in all states).

The funny part is that since the Internet Gambling Legislation was passed in 2001, there has been NO prosecutions whatsoever....so it is pretty obvious that the Gov doesnt really care. Also, the laws were passed by the Liberal Conservative Gov which is no longer in power and I doubt that the present Labor Gov supports these restrictions.

Thanks for the info Simmo! :D
