I got an affiliate request for my site for Casino Rip (CasinoRip) and I'm wondering about them.

Looks legit in the affiliate side - but I KNOW nothing about them as they appear to be NON-US based completely.

Name on the email was: Gilberto Nieto

And that's another name I've never heard of.

SO any ideas - thoughts or anything?

I try very hard to only take on affiliate sites that aren't rogue casinos or places that don't have a lot of serious bad marks on them - but can't really find anything about them much.

Anyone?

THanks in advance.

WW

I guess there aren't many good names left..... "Casino Ripoff"

It's a GameAccount skin. Big skill game company

This would be the main site: Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

It's a skill game site with some casino games as an afterthought.

I don't know if it's the same for online casinos (I suspect it would be worse, maybe a lot worse) - but I treat all incoming online poker affiliate "We would love to work with you" requests as Spam pretty much. I figure if I haven't heard of them yet, they're tiny and tiny is always more dangerous than big (size of an operation can make crooks legitimate businessmen all of a sudden) - and I also treat all online gaming companies as Rogue until I'm convinced otherwise by a friend or otherwise trusted source (and even then, some turn out to be Roguish).

I noticed you seem to advertise uniquely rare and small casinos (for the most part) - is this simply because they claim to pay a lot more than the larger, accredited-listed types of casinos? And if so, and you suspect they're fudging the figures, wouldn't it make sense to take the (more likely paid) smaller CPAs / Rev Shares...than the promised larger (but seemingly uncoverting) CPAs / %'s?

(Edit: Just realised thelawnet pointed out they were a skin of GameAccount. GameAccount is regulated by the UK Gambling Commission - so they're gong to be pretty safe. This has almost no impact on this particular skin however, assuming GameAccount network is run as poorly as most networks, leaving almost all marketing and affiliate interaction / payments / reporting to the skins themselves with no centralised auditing. My two biggest financial hits were from fairly large skins on large poker networks. The networks themselves were large, but if they don't effectively control their skins, all sorts of chaotic crap can go down - including a lot of unethical behaviour on the affiliate side.

And with a name as bad as theirs, I mean - you have to wonder if they're even smart enough to be operating a business imo. RIP = Rest In Peace? / Rip (ocean currents dragging hapless victims out to sea) / rip-off (as thelawnet pointed out) - all negative words, these guys are morons surely. imo)

When I saw casinorip first thought was " casino rest in peace" LOL one for the bad name hall of fame.

I edited my post without seeing this but yep - I would say on like a Family Feud question survey, RIP = Rest in Peace would run at about 90 points...

Terrible name. If you can't get a name right, I mean...lol?

My thoughts too really, if i was trying to pick a terrible name i suppose CasinoRIP could be it, possibly only bettered by Casino Of Death lmao

First impressions are everything
