As much as I love casinos and playing slots kinda sad I have never been to Rama. Been to Blue Heron, Fallsview, Seneca US falls side even
Grand river racetrack which is in Elora. I actually love Elora, a beautiful village and a great place to visit for a day and check the Elora Gorge. Awesome in the fall with the changing colour of the trees.
I was surprised when I was at Seneca they had Thuderstruck2 and other Microgaming slots including Isis but it was named something else but the same slot. Was also surprised you can smoke in Seneca, didn't care for that part but seemed weird as in Canada smoking in public places been banned for years, but did like the free drinks mind you we don't have free drinks in the Casinos but Doug Ford brought back a $1 for a beer sadly not at the casinos.

There is a shuttle every Friday, every other Monday and 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday. If it was a Friday, I'd come up for sure. If it's another day, probably too long and expensive a trek by regular bus because I would have to get to Toronto first, so ends up being really long travel time (and kinda expensive if it is a weekend). Its cheap and easy from Vancouver and I also have a host with Caesars so when rooms, booze and food is free (indirectly I guess ) its even easier, I generally go 3 times a year as well get tortured in late January, I have a booth at a major construction trade show and am there for 8-10 days.

Went yesterday and the place was paying, Be prepared as they moved my fave machine and the security person told me the whole section is going to be flipped around so might be a new slot floor layout next time your there. At Rama. Got the reservation right as staying 2 nights but can only give me basic room cause it's going to be busy. Well ya that's why I reserved early like the day the rooms were available and I am platinum VIP. So not totally happy but it's a room.

Word to the big bird I am Dionysus neighbor and when at work I am only 10 minutes from him, I also don't go to Georgian Downs.

So I did go, I advise anyone not to go and stay closer to your local casino's. It was dead out there and I am sure they are not paying what they are supposed to be paying, It's really bad out there and all of us are saying we can't see them being open in 5 years with Wasaga Beach, Pickering openings and with Woodbine and Great Blue Heron expansions Rama is in big trouble.

I could not hit anything till right at the end and got some money back as got up to just over $300, put half back in and cashed out and went home.

It's very confusing as you have to use the old card which is only for some machines and the new player's card which are the other half of the machines so you still have to use both. We did get a pop up on the card screen where you pick a snowman for free play and each of us won $25 so that was cool and might go again tomorrow with the free play that they gave me if I get everything done today.

Not sure what the management is thinking but there clearly ruining Rama. One time Rama was packed always you be lucky to get on a machine now even on weekends it's 1/2 empty or worse. Its been over 3 months since I have received any offers. They have to give reduced hotel rates only for Sun through Thursday but for the same price, I can stay at a 4-star hotel in NiagraFalls on the weekend, not worth the drive from Toronto.

Well what a mistake somewhat going today, This place is awful and falling apart. My favorite machine was out of service, Tech guy came along who was a nice guy and was talking with him, Can't fix it themselves as they don't own the machine as a licensed title so like a leased machine. When he was in the menu part I saw the RTP and how much has gone through the machine, RTP was set at 79.84% and 6.5million was put in or through the machine and like 5.35 million cashed or paid out.

So bummed I could not play it as they could not fix it. Thankfully I was able to get hits to keep playing for most of the morning walking around and did not lose all money I took with me so that was a plus.

I ran into another issue with another machine and had to get tech again, Had to tell them what the progressives were at and how much I had in the machine and they could not believe I did not know,LOL Are you fkn kidding me?

They were fixing quite a few machines and the employee in the restaurant who we know for years said the same thing, the place is falling apart kind of thing and she is just trying to get her hours for who knows how much longer.

Just got back from Rama for a visit for the first time in a year and a half. It was o.k., but........

My advice is not to go unless you like the older titles or slots or the ones that have jackpots on them as that is all they pretty much have now. I was not impressed by the selection of slots mind you they got rid of my favorite one, I mean there is ones that I will play but nothing that will make me rush back there.

It's bigger minimum bets or you have to bet big, they raised the prices by almost double for breakfast which again was o.k. but not as good as it use to be.

No big winners, I was only able to hit small amounts here and there and one point to keep me playing anyway.

If you are looking for a trip where you are going to stay overnight I would go to Niagara Falls over Fallsview as again nothing special and a lack of slots to play at Rama.

They must have had complaints as the selection was better and some parts were totally changed, still not great but they added more new-ish titles. Went yesterday and it was pretty good, only put in a $100 bill and it lasted me all morning! 4-5 hours playing on just that. Only thing is we got security called on us as we went in but we took a turn towards the restaurant( which we did last time with no issues) and the security guard called the other security guy in that area as we did not show vaccine receipt but we were not going in on the gaming floor. No Buffett still, of course, breakfast at the restaurant (weirs) was good, not busy so the food was super quick though it could have been cooked more but it was good, the coffee was not as good as it was.

Overall as I said a little more selection of slots, breakfast was alright and played all morning and came out even it was a much better time.
