Casino 33

They are a brand new RTG casino from Costa Rica which immediately rings alarm bells!

A bit of Googling, and the bells get 10 times louder!
Call me an old cynic , but if you wanted to get masses of attention for your new casino, how about starting a VERY controversial rumor about yourselves to get media attention, and then vehemently denying it, while you subtly plug your new joint...

Old / Expired Link

Then take a look at their website, which looks like it's only half finished... :eek2:
If you play this place, you are likely to get just what you deserve IMO.
Time to get your best running shoes out!!

rumor

Thanks KK
Contrary to what popular belief? I had never even heard of this place! I couldn't even find a banking page on the website. The article is totally contrived and obvious. Who would take time to explain the meaning behind a casino bonus coupon in a press release about buying remains, they may as well stated the T&Cs right there. Never heard of the press release site either. As they say though, no such thing as bad publicity.

From Casino33

Hey Casino Jack here

I work at casino33.com, but JUST started. Needles to say the old marketing company no longer represents us. The site is not 100%, and I would not insult you by saying otherwise.

I will state, the site is live, and we do have some players, but have not promoted it as we are still going through some last minute items.

Again, that press release was NEVER authorized by the owners here. Please stay tuned for more to come, when we ready.

PM me anytime! or add me to skype: casinojack69

Can you confirm if brand new RTG PlayFair Casino is a sister to Casino33?
Their website looks similarly half finished and very dodgy too - their contact e-mail is a GMAIL account!!!

Yes, the ownership includes playfair, but again, you guys do your research too well...Casino33, that site is a testing type site. only the logo will remain by the time complete. Phone numbers also, and of course , 97% payouts on slots, guaranteed. Bear with us, construction underway!

PS, Casinomeister has not even been sent the terms and conditions yet for approval....

Our caller ID number is the toll free number on the site. Please make sure was us, and if so, Ill double check. We do use VOIP however, so not sure what state is terminated in...

yes it was a rep from your casino she knew all my details. I have caller ID on my phone & TV through cable and it showed New Jersey and the #. Area Code 551 comes out of NE NJ. Not a 800 #. When I Google the # there is alot of people posting: who does this number belong to?

Yeah, seems you were right. We did NOT have the toll free number assigned. it is now! being you found that, Pm me, and ill give you 50 bucks free play for bringing that to my attention..

I made the playthrough on a $55 freechip (actually hit for over $1000 on one spin on London Inspector at a $2.50 bet).
Have been working with Casinojack on processing the cashout, so far he has been very helpful.
I will post an update once the cashout is complete (only Western Union is an option so far but it is not available on the withdrawal screen which is causing confusion.)

I dont usually use free chips but just tried and is expired, I guess you used up all the funds with your win.

Casinojack,

One of the things I learned early in the forum is that if the if the website has a lot of spelling or grammatical mistakes in it, then it would be best to avoid the casino in question. Where do you live again Jack?:D

Just kidding mate. Welcome to the forum.

Costa Rica, but the site you see is not even close to the final design. Again you all kind of found us before the grand opening, and I will post when complete, and thanks for your patiahgavgvsagsvce (intentional, lol)

Hopefully this site don't end up affiliated with other rogue sites. If it turns out to be a straight up site, regardless of the loops of fire you would have to jump through here, you won't be denied a welcome at this forum.

All everyone wants here is exactly what is expected when risking funds. Taking into consideration what has taken place in the past with terrible sites do understand that you are guilty till proven innocent. Especially coming out of Costa Rica.

Do the right thing and I'm sure you'll have many friends and tons of customers.

Found a free $50.00 dollar no deposit coupon for this new site. If anyone wants to try it out.

NATCEND50

It has a 30x's play through
with 50x's max cash out

Just for everyone's reading pleasure, here it is (my bolding):

Contrary to popular discussion, online casino casino33.com is not in the market to buy Michael Jacksons
remains. We have had a lot of phone calls about this, we are not sure how the rumor started, stated Roger Smythe, the online casinos sales manager. We were very saddened to hear the news like everyone else, and we are not in the market to capitalize on this tragedy. We send our condolences to his family at this time, and apologizes to them for this rumor.

Michael Jacksons death brought the world to a standstill, and will be one of those events when 20 years,
people will be talking about where they were when they heard the news.

Casino33.com, an online casino, offering online slots, online blackjack, online video poker, has been in
business for some time, offering the greatest selection of online slots.

The rumor appears to have started after a coupon code of MJWEMISSYOU started to circulate claiming 50% deposit bonus. Roger Smythe stated this coupon is correct, but was meant as a celebration of a great performer, not an insult. The world definitely will miss him.

WTF was that? C'mon, give us a bloody break.

You hired a marketing company - for this?? :what: That's about as bad as the Virtual Casino's 911 promo - who could forget that?
Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

I would have fired whoever came up with that in a New York minute. For one thing - it's packed with BS. Does anyone here actually believe that this casino received phone calls enquiring about this "rumor" (as stated in the Press Release)?? And the casino actually contacted the Jackson family to apologize. Yeah, right.

This casino has started off on the wrong foot in a big way.

Yeah, seems yowere rightht. We did NOT have the toll free number assigned. it is now! being you found that, Pm me, and ill give you 50 bucks free play for bringing that to my attention..

Please do not use the forum to recruit players. Thank you.

Damn! Another black mark for online gambling marketers - where do they find cretins who come up with this sort of fabricated, nonsensical and most damning of all totally tasteless 'hooks'?

And a massive raspberry for the casino operator who approved this BS, too!

:mad::mad::o

I know there are other forums with a $25 chip and a $50 max cashout, so one would assume this is probably a $50 max cashout too.

Whats the point of getting a bonus of $50, wagering it 30x and then being able to cashout $50??? I guess its great for the casino if someone hits a RJ (most RTG's dont replace the jackpot)

Maybe the rep could clear this up??

well, there is also their (crap!) youtube videos using unlicensed music.
I wonder if that was the same 'marketing company'.

It seems that somebody does not have a very high standard of ethics, that's not a good way to earn trust.

1. Casino33 (before I arrived) did hire a marketing company and was a mistake, not sure how else to address this.

2. In regards to recruiting players, I am sorry, that was not my intent, and will not happen again.

Thanks, and good luck.

Hey, Mr. Casino33 guy, you need to give me $100 cause I got 2 calls Friday from some guy promoting your casino, 551-322-9000. Missed the first call, tried to call it back and got the "this # has been disconnected" message. Answered to second one and while the guy was pretty pleasant, he was certainly pushy.

This is not a good way to drum up customers.

Bryan... Based on your comments above, I believe I stepped out of line with my previous two posts. I being a complete rookie still learning about all this stuff, certainly wouldn't second guess your knowledge. I'm certainly not in a position to give any welcome to any Casino Rep, regardless which casino he or she represents at this forum. Please accept my sincere apology.

Carl

I dont think Bryan's post was directed at you. We should always try to welcome new members and make them feel warm and fuzzy. As for the code, you only posted it for our info and actually I redeemed it myself (blew it though):D.

Dont feel bad about it. We really appreciate your input.

I feel that I have to post my experience with this casino (Playfair casino, sistersite, so I guess it is the same people behind it). After reading a few pages of this thread I decided to check the webpage out. I noticed that they had a big slots bonus of 777% up to 1500$. I deposited 200$ and took the bonus. I ofcourse busted out, and "stupid" as I was I wanted to win back my money, so I made a new deposit, and against all odds I managed to turn the deposit into 1000$. I went into cashier and it said "Withdrawable balance $1000". The only way of withdrawing was through Wire Transfer. As I have never made a wire transfer before (I usually use Moneybookers or withdrawal back you my Visa card), I therefor contacted their livesupport to get some assitance on what Routing number etc. is.

So I talk to livesupport, they ask me for my username and I give it. Livechat than ask's me why I would want to know that? I thought that sounded strange, but I said I wanted to make a withdrawal.

Livechat than told me that I was playing with bonus money. I said that it said "withdrawable balance $1000". He then just transfered me to another represantive called Greg.

Here is a quote from the chat:

you: Are you saying to me that your casino is the only RTG casino on the internet where the wagering requirements carrys over?
you: that is a predatory term
Greg: No, not at all, but I'll have to review all acitvity in your account, which is just standard procedure
Greg: I'll have to verify all info correct, that's all I'm saying, it wont take long
you: ok
Greg: so that your balance was at 0 in order to start new action
Greg: You understand my point?

This is when I start to get worried. Suddenly my balance is reset to 0. And then my account is locked.

He is than claiming that I put "U.S" in as country. I thought that was very strange, I have signed up at probably 50+ casinos over my lifetime, and I have never, not one time, registered under another flag. Why on earth should I do that?

Greg: I am simply validating payout
Greg: And it says that you are in the United States here, correct?
you: that is not correct, I am from Norway
Greg: Ok, you have U.S. in your account info.
you: hm, that is strange, I am sure that I put in Norway

He then feeds me more gibberish..

Greg: Ok, xxxx, this shouldnt take more than one or two hours. I really hope your payout is good!.
you: Can you please explain to me what you are doing that takes 2 hours and that you was required to remove my balance to do?
Greg: Yes, validating your payout through RTG as well., that's all

Later in the chat he ask's me to send in my ID documents, which I promptly do. He promises to send me an email when everything is validated.

I never receive an email so I go into livechat and talks to Greg again. He says that my documents are not accepted as I have blanked out the security code and my social sequrity number.

This is where I get real worried. Why on earth would they need my secuirty code and social sequrity number? I refuse to send in a card scan with my security code visible. He then says it is OK.

This is the end of the chat.

you: you said you had to review my account, this has been done I assume?
info: Your chat transcript will be sent to xxxxxxxx at the end of your chat.
Greg: I did what I have to do, 2 authorizations come next to finalize, and by the way, it is being handled faster than normal
you: Why on earth do you have to go through every spin that I made? Sounds totally ridicilous..
Greg: Hey Eirik, I would not pressure my luck, You entered wrong information in your account. U.S. should void your pay, I'm just trying to help. The final decision is not mine

So it seems that they are using every exscuse there is to not pay me. From saying that I had more WR to do (which I don't). Then telling me that they have to validate every spin I made, and then there is 2 more authorizations to do. And then finally telling me that I signed up using U.S as country, which I am 99% shure I didn't.

I have played at a lot of casinos previously, but this is the worst treatment I have ever got. I still hope that the casino will come clean and reopen my account and give me my balance back. But frankly it does not look good. I hope that I atleast get my deposit back, but what should I do?

wow

That sounds awful. Before I got too upset, I would PM CasinoJack. He has stated that he works there, and have been very helpful on the forum with RTG questions, even if they don't concern his casino.

If he doesnt respond in a timely manner, I would P.A.B. who knows it could be a quick fix. It sounds unbelievable that someone would put U.S.A., not impossible. Correct me if I'm wrong but in the Country list, arent they listed in alphabetical order. Norway is nowhere U.S.A. Just seems unlikely. Good Luck
Please keep us informed!

The site Playfair casino and casino33 are sister sites, but under different management. However, i can look into this and see what is wrong, and try to guide this to workable solution.

Question:

Did you sign up off the playfair casino website or the downloadable client?

EDIT: Ok, If you login/register from the website, ALL players become USA players, it is a bug on the website, I will send this to them now. I was able to duplicate the error. I can assure you casino33 does not do business like this, and though we had a somewhat shaky start due to marketing company, that is now gone, we will prove ourselves in this forum...

I will help you to get this corrected! I am notifying playfair casino reps as we speak.

Hello, Playfair rep.

I have my phone on all the time and I have no missed calls. I talked to you on livechat this evening and we agreed on that you would pay me when I sent in the faxback form. I have now sent that in. I have not yet managed to order a cashout as you have closed my account and zeroed out my balance. I am confident that you will straighten that matter however. I have contacted maxd and hope that we can find a peaceful solution to this matter.
