Is anyone else having a problem getting paid from Captain Cooks Casino?

My cash-in of $700 from September 21, 2004 remains unpaid. I've never had a Microgaming casino take 3 weeks to process a withdrawal request of mine before.

I have a string of emails with casino support from the past 3 weeks. The emails offer a variety of excuses as reason for the delay, but each ends with a promise of payment within 24 hours. Unfortunately, each promise was broken with still more excuses.

While I appreciate the quick replies I get from support to my emails, I'm obviously getting the run-around from them. Some of their excuses are SO ridiculous, they couldn't possibly be true. I find it hard to believe that any staff could be that inept and remain in business.

Is Captain Cooks having financial problems?

If not....why all the delays in paying a lousy $700?

I've never experienced any problems with them, although it's been six months since I've last played there (I despise MG blackjack). But my experience has been 2-3 day turnaround, at the most.

You have not played at River Nile or Golden Riviera, have you?

Hehehe, even Golden Riviera only took just over a week to pay me.

It's not really the length of time I've waited that irks me (I had to wait months to finally get paid by Black Widow). What bothers me most is the insane excuses I'm being fed from casino support when they try to justify why payment didn't take place as promised.

My issue is if it's going to take 3 weeks to get paid, then tell me straight up, hey look, it's gonna take 3 weeks. Don't yank my chain and tell me in email after email, that I'll be receiving payment "within 24 hours" if in actuality, support has absolutely no intention of following through....and then make up some outlandish reason why. It makes the whole operation look bad and certainly doesn't help create player loyalty.

Frankly, I expected better from Captain Cooks.

MG Blackjack (Vegas Strip) is the best I have ever experienced. BJ is the only game I play and I love MG now. If you want a fast paying MG then try Maple Casino out. They paid in one day, after the 24 pending period. I am very, very satisfied with my Maple Casino experience so far.

UPDATE: ISSUE RESOLVED

Captain Cooks paid me this morning via Neteller.

Why would you not wait a little longer before coming here and posting 'BEWARE'? 3 weeks is slow but you did get your money. All this premature posting of "non pays" is getting out of hand, and could be causing a lot of undeserved grief to reputable casinos.

I agree that the title "Beware" is unwarranted but I would also think that fellow gamers should post these experiences within a reasonable timeframe. Three weeks seems to fit that order. Although there werent any posts mentioning slow pay,it could be the reverse in which case it could be that Captain Cooks or any other casino could be having cashflow problems. Sharing of this information with us as early as possible is better than having a flood of complaints 3 months after players not getting paid.

* Thank you Bryan for editing my original title. I was going to change it immediately after resolution but "edit" was no longer an available option *

How long is long enough Black21Jack? Besides, had I not posted here at Casinomeister about this issue, I'd STILL be waitng for Captain Cooks to pay me. That's the power of this board. The sharing of information (both good and bad) between those of us who gamble online, is one of the few ways we have to make intelligent choices about which casinos we play at.

the title "Beware" is unwarranted

chuchu59, I thought about the title to my original post for a long time before I hit the "send reply" button. I was going to use the word "WARNING" instead of "Beware" but the poster right before me used that same term and I wanted to be more original.

While other posters here *cough* use overzealous titles like "STARLUCK DON'T PAY" or "Yukon Gold STAY AWAY" (no offense to Loul & Cinb :) ), I tried to post a warning that was strong enough so that others would read it, without (I hope) being unfair to Captain Cooks.

I agree that things should be brought to the attention of other players, and that is why these boards are so great. I just think that prematurely posting 'WARNING' and 'BEWARE' could be hurting reputable casinos. I understand that players get very frustrated and do things 'in the moment' I have been frustrated many times. Anyways, you got paid so that is all That matters.
