I made a echeque deposit to play at Canplay casino but at the moment I didn't have the funds so I deposited the next day.I made winnnings of $15800 and made a withdrawal request Canplay cancellel my account and forfeited my winnings. If they gave me the credit to play and the process went through meaning they took my $200 I deposited why is there a problem me withdrawing my winnings?

I suspect the problem might be you presenting a cheque knowing that you did not ave the funds in your account for the cheque to clear.
I know in some countries it's against the law and u can be prosecuted for fraud it's dishonest to say the least as says a lot about your character.
You obviously didn't think this thru and the casino are well within their rights to void your winnings how would u feel if they decided to keep your initial despoit (pending they ever get it).

Sounds like a typical scam for me? If you lost deposit, the check would never clear but if you win you tell them and try and fix it. I might be wrong but sounds like you are trying to do no no stuff.

Yes it might have but you still presented the cheque with insufficient funds for in your account who's to say if you had not have won that you wouldn't have cancelled the cheque..
The bottom line is you knowing committed fraud you don't have a leg to stand on you'd better hope they don't apply a fraud marker to your credit file.

And if you lost, would it clear then?
Maybe it was an innocent mistake from your part, but for me it looks like you tried to gamble free of risk. Be happy you get original deposit back.

Sounds like they must have got information off the bank that you wrote the cheque knowing you didn't have enough funds. Which is fraud. You're lucky they only closed your account and didn't take any legal action against you.

Am I missing something? Surely the cheque should have been cleared first before the casino allowed the credits to be played.

Should not of been given the credit until it was cleared, they should of waited until it either A: Cleared or B: boucned, hence no credits would be given.
