I've been looking for a new way to deposit lately since I'm extremely limited in the casinos I can play right now with the one method available. I just read that paysafecard is available in Canada and wondered if anyone from Canada has tried it and what the fees are like or any hassles you may have experienced by using it.....?

Thanks!

as a Canadian, why just one method? We've banks, Skrill and pre-paid mastercard/visas, instadebit cards etc

I have skrill and ecocard but don't use credit cards so it's a hassle funding them, that's why I was looking at a prepaid card - I thought that's what paysafecard was....? I'm assuming from your reply that it's not?

Thanks, - I know I can buy a prepaid card from Moneymart here and load it etc, but I saw this other thing and you can buy them from any post office which would be more convenient for me, but without knowing what kind of fees are involved or what it is maybe I'd better look into it more first. It would suck to buy one and put my monthly gambling budget on it and then be stuck with fees or not be able to use it or whatever. The one thing they did mention is that if you don't use it for a month they deduct a couple bucks a month until you're at zero, which made me hmmmm a bit.

I´m not from Canada but i have been using Paysafecard for a while now and its really easy, there is usally a small fee when purchising the code. (50c per code in sweden)

You can find retailers here
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

After purchasing the code all you have to do is to enter the code at the casino and the money has been deposited.

And there isn´t any monthly fees for the first 12 months, after that its 2,50cad.

i often use ukash, i think its more popular.
I can buy in on Esso and Canada Post in Ontario but i usually buy it online. I will send you a link via PM.

Also, i saw at one casino that they wanted Paysafecard to be in euros where ukash they always take CAD.

oooh yeah that looks like it might work, thanks people! I've never used UKash before, when you buy a voucher do you have to use the whole thing at once? Like if I buy one for $100 can I deposit $50 at one casino and $50 at another?

If you buy $100 but you cant deposit 50 and another 50 at another casino if you have $100 worth of ukash gotta go split it first at Ukash.com :)

i actually saw that some casinos allow to deposit partial amount and you will get a new voucher with the remaining amount. Its mostly NetEnt casinos where i saw this feature.
example:
You have successfully deposited the money

Ukash number 6337181539116875xxx
Currency CAD
Ukash value 0.47

i have a question about that. I have never used the paysafecard for online pokerrooms, in fact i have never bet online.
But i know the card since i use it the whole time for gaming. Now, i use it cause i don`t like to give out my bank details online,
however, if i would use psc to deposit credit and i win, i will have to give out my account to acces the moeny right? Or is there a way around that?

ok, i did some research and i figured that one out. Apparently i can let me get payed out by check, according to the psc homepage.
They now even have a promo running for bets. You only have to answer 1 question and you can win codes up to 5000. I already got 5 ;)
here is the link if anyone is interested :

So for the other side if I am in Ontario and have winnings from a casino converted back to ukash how do I go about getting the cash from it to my bank account?

If in ON, why not just have a Skrill acct? I havent found a casino yet that that doesnt use it - you can fund back and forth to Skill and to your bank

Finnaly was able to sign on my now it has been since Friday to get the verification process to go to the next step and see the deposit to show the account is legit. It is a little bit fustrating trying to get these other types of online payments to work or not take long to get things process.
