For weeks now I have found when playing the Playtech Marvel slots one of two things happens.Either the reels spin for ages before stopping or there is a delay after each spin before the spin button becomes active again.I have tried clearing the cache, deleting temporary files and using two different browsers (Firefox and IE) but nothing seems to make any difference. The problem only occurs on the progressive slots, all the others run fine.Just wondered if anyone had encountered the same problems and found a solution.Apologies for the fact that this is the second post on the same subject but I have run out of ideas on how to try and solve it.

always had this issue

as long as i can remember they have had that pause sometimes it was like 1 sec sometimes 10. Even non jackpot marvel ones to.
freeing lots of bandwith up and down may help stop torrents ect

Thanks to everyone who replied.I am convinced that the problem is somehow linked to the progressive element as when playing in fun mode, there are no such issues.I did indeed get the clearing cache/changing browser advice from support at one of the Playtech casinos but the good old forum has confirmed my belief that the problem is down to the Playtech software.

They seem to run slower at peak periods, most of the time they are unplayable and Thor has the worst delay.

The problem will never be fixed. I'm sure someone here mentioned that the license wont be renewed for any Marvel branded slots.Disney now own Marvel and don't want the association with gambling.

I wonder what slots Playtech will create to fill the void left by the Marvel slots. Hopefully they can come up with something better than recent slots like Fortune Hill and The Three Musketeers. I have played these a lot, the returns and bonus rounds are awful.

davidsmith56 - Marvel Slots from Playtech

Hi all,

I noticed this last month and immediately raised it with Playtech, I had originally thought that it was due to my location (Gibraltar) and being within the Coral network but was confirmed by their tech team that it affected all partners. I raised it as high priority as it was taking up to 10 seconds per spin which is a lifetime for most players. Playtech have confirmed to me that its a delay on their side which they are looking at fixing in their next release. As all the operators get releases at different times it should be resolved network wide in the next month, some companies will take a bit longer to take this release with many in code freezes during the build up to the World Cup. The desktop version of all the Marvel progressives is affected but the mobile version is hosted on separate servers and plays quite well. I know that's little comfort for those that love the desktop versions though Hulk and Iron Man 2 actually play really well on most mobiles.

Hope that helps!

Anthony

Thanks Anthony and in fact there are two separate issues. One,as you say,the reels can spin for up to 10 seconds before stopping and the other is that the reels spin normally but after each spin, the spin button does not become active again for about 5 seconds (same problem with autoplay).Good to know that Playtech are aware but this seems to have been going on for ages so I will not be holding my breath that it gets fixed.

Thanks davidsmith56

Hi davidsmith56,

I've been checking back through my mails and it was the start of May I noticed the issue first and raised it. I've confirmed again that the end of June or first week in July is when the fix is being pushed out to most sites so fingers crossed that'll fix both issues. We'd a similar problem with the Spin button being deactivated on another non-Playtech game for about a week which would only happen on losing spins and not winnings one's. It was very strange but my point was that its the losing spins that I want to click spin as quickly as possible on, not winning ones! Again mobile is actually really responsive and plays great so that could be an alternative should you want to play uninterupted but hopefully once we hit July this will be working again.

Thanks

Anthony
