If affiliates of C-Planet are having any issues with their affiliate accounts - this is the place to post it.

A quick and painless investigation indicates that this affiliate program is detagging players. It's really a shame since they were a major contender for Casinomeister awards (the good ones) etc. Unfortunately, they just started screwing up in October 2009, and they went from bad to worse.

That is crazy but I guess not unnormal. All affiliates from time to time have the feelng that players are being detagged...or at least I have:oops:

I guess its very difficult to avoid...

The unfortunate thing is that it has probably been going on for a long time. Perhaps this is why they are still afloat after being dumped by scores of affiliates. The casino is still earning from the referred players and the affiliates are none the wiser.

There are current affiliates of C-Planet that may have player communities at hand. Perhaps they ought to query their players as well. I would surely recommend this.

Bryan, i guess their affliiate software doesn't have the feature to report the activity for every registered player, right?

It's very frustating that they do not even respond to you, even a ' we will investigate this soon ' answer.

Their software tracks the activity of players but does not list user names or account numbers. That would have been even more damning.

Since they were actually requesting to be removed from the rogue section just a couple of weeks ago, I thought this would be a no brainer. Do an audit and make a report. But they clammed up and went into silent mode.

I told the casino rep in the forum that I would be closing her account if the owner or affiliate managers continued their "speak to the hand" deal. She (or he) had the gall to request I keep the account open so that players could be contacted that needed to be paid. It was more or less an attempt to further exploit this site for their own good. When I asked her why the owner (or anyone else for that matter) had not contacted me, she clammed up as well.

Freakin' pitiful.

There's more here about the casino side of things here.

It's never pleasant to read about unprofessional and downright dishonest conduct within the industry, but unfortunately this is another of those scandals perpetrated on affiliates that need to be widely publicised to:

* Encourage affiliates to carry out the kind of investigation that has been done here...and publicly report any anomalies and

* Act as a warning for all affiliates who might be impacted by this shocking lack of integrity.

When all's said and done this amounts to straight theft from business associates.

... this amounts to straight theft from business associates.

Yes it does, and confirms what many people have been saying for a while about the whole Rushmore cabal: liars, cheats and thieves.

They're clearly not prepared to talk about it - I have had the same experience as Bryan in trying to get them to explain their position.

I have always had a fishy feeling about C-Planet and now I know why. Thanks for the warning. I took them off our sites about a year ago.

C-PLANET RESPONDS TO RUSHMORE DE-TAGGING ACCUSATIONS (Update)

We have lots of happy affiliates, says program

In a sequel to last week's shocking revelations that players referred to the Rushmore group were being de-tagged, thus disadvantaging the referrer, the affiliate program C-Planet responded this week to an InfoPowa invitation to give an explanation.

In short, the response was enigmatic, asserting only that the program has many happy affiliates, but that the Casinomeister rogueing would be addressed at some undefined point in the future.

The only overt denial lies in the phrase "these absurd allegations", but that accusation is not substantiated by any facts.

The response reads:

"We will address casinomeister in the coming weeks.

"We have many happy affiliates and players who continue to work with us and have earned a lot; they will continue to do so.

"Just prior to these absurd allegations CAP offered us any sponsorship package we wished since we do have so many happy affiliates."

The issue surfaced last week when Casinomeister webmaster Bryan Bailey carried out an investigation involving players referred to Rushmore but not credited to his affiliate account.

...
"We will address casinomeister in the coming weeks.
Why didn't they address this immediately after I politely and tactfully brought it to their attention several times before the rogue listing? :what: I emailed the owner operator along with their casino manager and affiliate managers copied on - so there is no excuse on not knowing what I was asking. It was a concerted effort to stonewall my questions. They had plenty of time to get back to me and explain what was happening, and I guess they won't be able to get to this for several more weeks. Man, they must be busy.

..."We have many happy affiliates and players who continue to work with us and have earned a lot; they will continue to do so.
Whatever. I'm happy they're happy. Happiness all around.

We rogued C-Planet quite some time ago and felt they were going down the wrong path for quite awhile. Now it seems to be official. Not only are they having player dissatisfaction issues and affiliate payment issues... but they now are un-tagging players and reaching directly into our pockets.

So sad from a once well-respected outfit.

"Just prior to these absurd allegations CAP offered us any sponsorship package we wished since we do have so many happy affiliates."
More happiness. :p But funny thing though, I don't see them listed as a CAP sponsored affy program. The logic of this statement has escaped me.
