I am not sure if anyone has had issues with this 'casino'. But I wanted to put a warning to people here. Based on my current experience and research I've done.

The casino is attempting the theft of 5k in EUROS. They are clearly a scam site.

I contacted them on telegram as my withdrawals were getting rejected for three months with no explanation. They claimed they did not accept players from my region, Ireland, and therefore blocked my account. This happened within 5 minutes of me hitting 5k on roulette.

I was KYC verified (they approved all my documents), their terms also do not list ireland as resitricted. When I pointed this out to someone called 'Alfie' on telegram he said that didn't matter and under their license from CGB they couldn't accept irish players. I replied stating this wasn't detailed anywhere on their license (which they don't currently have). Alfie then blocked me from telegram.

I cannot access the account and they have ignored every attempt at engagement.

Does anyone on this site have any advice for me in this situation? Or am I just a victim of one of these end of year pop up scam sites?

The GCB thing is for UK players. Ireland isn't
part of that to my knowledge and currently had quite a good market. Similar to Canada but not as many options and not quite as cold.

They have an in progress application with the GCB whilst doing this behaviour so it would be concerning if their application was granted. You are correct they don't have a licence yet but they do have a valid certificate of operation whilst their application is in progress.

I assume you are the wife of the Luxembourgish poster on Casino Guru?

There are other people, such as aryanboy888 (lovely name, must be a great chap🥴), who have been told their country is banned when it isn't and their account deleted.

I see a complaint has been made on that platform by you. Unfortunately it will see the same fate as the others (no reaction from bullrunbets) and you will be encouraged to talk to the GCB, which you should definitely do if you haven't already. Definitely would want to try to prevent them getting a licence.

Yes Im charlotte.

I have contacted the GCB via email bit have been ignored unfortunately. Theire site also states they do not handle complaints?

I have read about the PAB here. What would be advise from people here? Do I start a PAB and close the caisnoguru complaint?

Or do I just hgave to accept I have lost the money?

I think I read somewhere that they'll eventually have an ADR but nothing yet.

I'd let the guru complaint run it's futile course.

You can always make use of the PAB service here but it will likely be the same outcome so not much point in doing it.

Also worth mentioning I think you only get one PAB with a non accredited casino (or something along those lines) so I'd save that for one with a better chance of a positive outcome.

Thank you for explaining!

So what do people do in these scenarios? The license provider has ignored me and has no phone number. Does this just happen regularly? Crypto casinos pop up and just scam people and no way to get money?

When the casino is fully rogue there isn't much you can do. This one is definitely trying to appear more legitimate than some outright scams we've come across but has exhibited some extremely rogue behaviour so I can't see you getting paid. It is really unfortunate the GCB will let them get licensed from the looks of it.

I wouldn't 100% give up but I would start to treat the 5 grand as completely gone. I would let the guru complaint finish and then keep an eye on things for the next month or two to see if anything changes or other people get better outcomes.

All I can say is do tour due diligence before signing up to a new casino. Don't sign up to any that have no complaints history, reviews or player discussion anywhere in the internet

Thanks for your comments.

Ill do this!

The GCB says it flat out won't handle complaints and it doesnt seem like anyone responds to emails. There seems to be no repurcussions for casinos behaving in this manner.

There aren't. It's a pointless and flaccid license, like a cheap flag of convenience in shipping. Same as a fake Omega or Rolex. Looks good, keeps up appearances but underneath is low-quality tat and junk.

Like comparing Del Trotter or Arthur Daley with Marks & Spencer.

I had no idea it was like this.

So there is no regulation for the casinos that have this GCB license?

Yes, but it's a paper tiger. They are out of reach of international jurisdiction, courts as we know them in the advanced nations and have little will to enforce anything as their easy $20k fee or whatever it is they get for old rope via selling stamps for online casinos is more valuable to them.

They don't don't have the will, means nor wherewithal to audit games, providers, payment mediums, fair terms or prevent their licensees from servicing markets they shouldn't etc.

You simply have to rely on goodwill from their operators, in many cases an absent facet.

If a casino scammed me out of 5K EUR and nobody was able to help, i would try to let people know. The easiest and free option would be to take a screenshot of the casino's website, add a couple of screenshots from this thread (like your own), and then share this picture everywhere on high-traffic tweets on X where they discuss internet scams.

Reddit should also work, and there should be some groups on Facebook as well. Then there are plenty of gambling groups on Telegram too.

With X, it's essentially a similar strategy to when people comment under Elon Musk's tweets and hope that he reposts their comments. If he does, it goes nuts, because Musk has millions of followers and most of them see his new tweets.

There are more options, but this one with sharing a screenshot is likely what most people would be able to do themselves.

I am going to do this now.

No probs. Let me know if you need help. Essentially you need an infographic-style image. You can use canva.com, they already have templates. You would just need to pick one and stick your screenshot in and add text. I would make something like this:

[TITLE] Bullrunbets.io Refused to Pay €5,000 Winnings

(or if you want to - go for "Scam Casino Bullrunbets.io Took my €5,000 Win")

Put this bullet list below the casino's screenshot so it's clear to people about what happened.

[TITLE] Here is What Happened:

1. I was KYC-verified with approved documents.
2. Bullrunbets.io blocked my account within five minutes of a €5,000 roulette win.
3. Withdrawals were rejected for three months without explanation.
4. Bullrunbets.io claimed its CGB license prohibits accepting Irish players.
5. Ireland was not listed as a restricted country in the casino's terms at the time of play.
6. All my attempts to access the casino account and contact Bullrunbets.io were ignored.
7. The Bullrunbets.io representative, "Alfie," blocked me on Telegram.
8. I emailed the Curaçao Gaming Control Board but received no response.
