im a slot junky and would like to know if any one has played bovada { bodog } in the past few months.it seems its a money pit and i wish to here from other players if you feel the same or its just me.i play all sorts of other casinos and done ok but bovada is hard to play.

It's just you.

The games are as fair as any RTG.
This may well be true, but players should be aware that Bodog are the only casino (AFAIK) who BOUGHT the rights to the coding for their "RTG" games. This means they COULD change the way the games work, including the RTP, if they wanted to.

This is a very good point. Bodog technically owns/uses the CTXM platform, which they extended from the RTG platform.

I played Bovada and won but I have been waiting for my check for 3 weeks now.

To be fair, they said it would take 15 business days from the outset--but we are at 15 days now and I still do not have the check. How can it possibly take this long to process a payout request. Upon contacting the I-Gaming Rep here, Becky promptly replied to let me know that they are no longer affiliated with Bodog but passed my inquiry along to a contact at Bovada.

I received an email from them stating that the payment was processed on 12/28 and I should have a tracking number late this week or early next week.

That being said, I cannot understand how or why it has taken so long to receive payment and will hesitate to deposit there again based upon this experience. Payment approved on 12/15 and still no check or tracking number as of today, 1/5. I'm confident the payment will be received but I find 3 weeks to be unacceptable--regardless of the holiday season or anything else.

well i played povada and seem to never win. but as far as pay-out are concerned, bodog always paid within less than a week. to bad they dont except u.s. players any more. thanks for the clue about pay-out on bovada::(

Bovada/Bodog

Good and bad experience. Literally 2 weeks before the rollout of Bovada I was up $2600 in the casino. I didn't think I would ever see it so I played down to $1600. I decided to hit payout just to see what would happen. Within 48 hrs they sent my money (minus fees) Western Union! Since they became Bovada however I can't download the Poker Client without getting a Trojan Virus. Also, I can only deposit via WU at a min of $100 in the Casino... Don't know what the story is with them anymore....

Thanks for this, you are correct, Bodog did purchase the RTG code a while back. I do want to make one thing clear though- Bovada is not Bodog- they are two different things. The company that owns the Bovada operations (MMGG) is no longer a Bodog brand licensee hence the re-brand, but there is a b2b technology deal in place which is why the casino software has not changed. In fact, Bodogbrand.com is working on doing a lot more of these B2B technology deals globally including in places like Cambodia, all with separate independant operators.

Thank you!
Becky

Becky, Thank you for your almost immediate reply to my PM regarding my delayed payment at Bovada. I did receive an email from the "Quality" Dept at Bovada assuring me that I their processor had processed my check on 12/28 and that I should have a tracking number by late last week or early this week. I really wish all casinos had reps as responsive and professional as you.

On the surface, their people seem to be trying to provide good service. I have received lots of apologies and assurances. It is also obvious that their telephone support people are outsourced to the Philippines I suspect. They are very courteous and try very hard but unfortunately they are for the most part, clueless. I'm not concerned about not being paid. I'm confident that I will get paid--eventually.

What does concern me is that I have been told my check was cut on 12/28. Is their processor located on a remote island serviced by Ferry once every 10 days?:D Is that the reason a check cut on 12/28 was not given to FedEx within the next day or two? I cannot think of any other plausible explanation.

Also, I was completely clueless about Bovada's complete disassociation with Bodog until I got Becky's reply. Bovada seems to be downplaying this fact at a minimum. My impression is that they want people to believe that it was a name change and nothing more based upon their website and my communication with them since mid December.

When I cashed out on 12/15, I was told from the get go that it would be 15 business days due to the holidays and the changeover to Bovada. While I wasn't pleased, I was definitely glad that they were setting what I hoped would be a realistic expectation which most casinos usually fail to do--especially when it comes to withdrawals.

Now I'm past the 15 business day mark and I still do not have payment nor do I have a tracking number--only an assurance that I "should" get one within a "few" days. Hopefully this is a glitch and not what will become their norm. It also really be great if they had an I-Gaming Rep for this forum.

For certain, I will not deposit there again until I am confident that future withdrawals will be processed within a reasonable amount of time. I think two weeks from withdrawal date until check received date is more than enough time to accommodate the holidays or any other issues that may come up.

So... what software does Bovada use then??

KK

Hey Guys,

To clarify - Previously Morris Mohawk Gaming Group licensed the use of the Bodog Brand to operate; this included the use of the products and services. Where we have said that there isn't much of a change is that we are still offering the same products and services as before, but the technology is through a business to business deal with Bodog, so Bovada doesn't own the software code.

Cheers,

Bovada Service

This would make me very leery of ever joining this casino.....

This is undoubtedly a rogue affiliate ... and any casino, accredited or not, is at risk of asshats doing things like this to make a buck.

I wouldn't judge Bovada until you've reported this affiliate and seen them take no action.

Signed up with Bovada today

Just signed up and deposited 125.00 + 100% sign up bonus. Took awhile to get through the 6250.00 WR, but managed to cash out 2000.00 today. I hit a good round on the slots and found the selection to be par with other RTG casinos.

It would appear that the bonus is cashable which is interesting. The email confirmation I received stated 3 weeks to process a check. I will post updates as this withdrawl process continues since this is a new casino for all of us.

"Your payout will be reviewed in the next 24 hrs. All payouts are reviewed in the order in which they are received. Please review the messages in your bovada.lv account for any updates relating to your payout request.

Sincerely,
bovada.lv Payouts Team"

If this is accurate, then if it is processed this time tomorrow then I can expect the check no later than February 14th. That's about 2.5x the average duration I get at CWC.

Interesting Development

Just received an email from the Bovada cashier:

"Thank you for your recent payout request dated Mon, Jan 23, 2012 for the amount of US$ 2000.00.

Your payout has been processed for the approved amount of US$ 2000.00. Please note that it may take an average of 15 business days before you receive your payment."

Processed in 2.5 hours! Granted, 15 days to receive payment according to that email, but wow that is a fantastic process duration! I requested courier check as that would seem to be the only option available to me. I wonder if they also process over weekends as well?

I will continue to update if anything unusual happens.

Just so you know and on an optimistic note, it has never taken Morris Mohawk more than 3 days to get a check to my house after it has been processed. Congrats on the nice win!

Is it just me?

I can't download the Poker Client at all becuase my anti-virus keeps popping up saying that it blocked a Trojan. Then the set up for Bovada disappears..... I don't understand....

Just right click your anti-virus icon to temporarily disable it, then download it. That has happened to me a lot when downloading certain casinos

I just received a check from them on the 13th business day. They said that normally they are quicker, but due to football playoffs-they are closer to the 15 days.
What i like about Bovada is that they stick to their committments regarding paying-they don't over promise and under deliver.

I bought in for 20 bucks two nights ago (Friday, 2/10) and had a nice win playing penny slots. I ended up cashing out for 565 dollars and requested check by courier. The one thing I liked was that Bovada allows one totally free cashout per month. This means I will be getting all 565 dollars of my cashout. By yesterday afternoon I got an email saying my pay out would be processing and this morning I discovered it was accepted and my check should arrive "within 15 business days". All in all I thought the turn around time for the cashout to be submitted to being accepted was super fast compared to some other casinos I've played at online.

Time line so far:
Feb 10: Cashed out for 565
Feb 11: Received email saying payout was processed
Feb 12: Received message in my Bovada account saying payout accepted and should arrive within 15 business days.
To Be Continued . . . . . .

I will post an update when my check arrives.

Rating So Far:
Game Selection: 5/5 - Great Selection of Slots and Table Games
Deposit Options: 5/5 - I'm a US Player and had zero problem making a seemless deposit
Live Support: N/A - I have yet to need to contact support so I can't say one way or another
Software: 4/5 - Over all it's really nicely done but it could use some tweaks to navigation
Payout: 5/5*- One free payout a month is awesome and the process was painless*
Overall: 5/5 - So far very happy with my Bovada experience

I was optimistic too at first as my withdrawl request was processed within hours. This was on January 23rd and I have yet to receive my check, nor are they yet able to provide any sort of tracking number. I am beyond the quoted 15 business day window and they've been telling other people that the delays are the result of a high number of withdrawls.. This has been going on for all of 2012 so far...

I regret playing there. Hope your experience is better.

Hopefully this is just a case of the sportsbook bogging things down with all the NFL betting that likely took place in the months of December and January. My last experience with cashing out at an online casino was with Cool Cat some years back and while I certainly got paid it took a good bit of time if I recall. If I have my check in 3-4 weeks I won't be terribly unhappy. Either way I will be sure to update this thread accordingly.
