Furthermore, apart from RTP data, with such a high-variance slot I am not really impressed to see the top hit in 1200xbet-size range in half a million spins. Watch Dead or Alive slot with such a sample.

Btw, what were the top hits in recent VideoSlot Weekend Book of Dead battless? Guessing its over million spins sample.

I believe it was 5000x bet size win.-probably full screen of the explorer-.
I remember last time when VS had BOD freeroll weekends, there were 2 person who had 5000x win, but this time only 1 person had 5000x win.

DOA is similar, with 700,000 spins.

Also, even further off topic... One of the reasons DOA is exempt from bonuses (or has a reduced wagering contribution), is it 'supposed' ability to grind through wagering.
Yet the Slot Tracker calculations show it as being 'Very Bad' for wagering.

So, have the casinos just been paranoid all this time?
Have they been losing income because players have avoided their site because of their paranoid DOA rules?

or maybe it went shit when they changed it to html5, as it 100% has changed, and not for the better :(

I agree completely.

Which is maybe why some casinos have lifted the restriction and/or increased the wagering contribution since the HTML5 was released.

Having found the Flash version at Nektan sites, I've started winning again.

That's an interesting question. I would say, yes. The thing with DOA and similar high variance slots is that you can get that advantage with a massive hit, and clear wagering later on. But it happens on rarely basis, so out of hundreds of players few of them accomplish that mission. Though, I can understand rules related to wagering & bonus when we talk about certain slots which accumulate features (such as Devil's Delight or similar). But IMO, to restrict DOA with bonus play is a bit paranoid.

Which casinos are you using for it please?

I've been luckiest at 'Slots of Glory'. But they should be all fed by he same servers anyway.

You might want to avoid bonuses though, since any winnings from bonus money is capped a 4x bonus. Although you can withdraw, and forfeit the bonus at any time, IF you haven't touched the bonus money

I noticed the worst bonus was £0.00 on a £0.04 bet meaning that you must have played it with 4 rather than 10 lines.

Perhaps others are doing the same meaning that the community statistics are rather skewed and incomparable.

It makes a volatile slot even more volatile if it is played with fewer lines.

How is the number of lines that is played taken into consideration?

Indeed. Less pay-lines makes variance even higher. I have seen some solid results playing BOD with 5-lines only. But, related to the BOD bonus - it's "almost" the same. If you play $1 per spin with 1-line or the same bet per spin with all 10-lines, you will get the same bonus payout if you hit choosen expanding character.

It just stood out - a zero paying bonus round on BOD. I never had this before (there are always some line wins) but then again, I always play it on full lines.

All bets are merged together as lines should not affect RTP in the long term, only short term.

Here are some additional statistics for you:

46,049 spins are less than 10 lines.
450,851 spins are 10 lines.

Out of 2,684 total tracked bonuses 29 were 0 wins. 22 of these were on 10 lines.

It does however effect the hit frequency and your wagering and volatility rating.

Yes, for sure. Later down the road we want to be able to allow players to split everything out much more than we do now. Be it different line values or even different feature types. Many slots have several different features and it would be great if the user were able to select which feature they wanted to see the statistics for. We are working on this!
