Hi, I am pretty new to online gaming, I have been a member of Betway for about 6 months now, and have made a good few deposits, always playing on the casino games via my iphone... Obviously I have previously received my welcome bonuses and played them through (unsuccessfully.) Here we go, on Wed I made a deposit of £30 to my account, I loaded up Thunderstruck2 and once the page loaded I suddenly had £52.50 in my account, Clearly I had been given a bonus of 75% which i did not want, did not ask for and did not get the choice if i wanted to accept or not. So now I realised i was tied in to meeting near enough impossible wagering requirements before I could make a withdrawal, and thats supposing I hit a win. Well I hit the bonus early on in my game play and by pure luck it was around £900 by the end of the free spins, (i was max betting at £3) I decided to play a few more different games and continued being fairly lucky, getting up to around £1400.. I wasn't sure how to meet my wagering requirements so i just went on various games trying to lose enough before i had met the WR. I also went on roulette and laid down a bet totalling £380 which unbelievably came in, returning £1800, I still had not met the WR and realised that roulette was making the bonus funds go down slower than when i was playing the slots. So i reverted to the slot games, max betting at no more than £6 and eventually met my WR and was able to withdraw over £2800... Now I have been reading up on Betways reviews and have since found out the 30% max bonus bet rule... Great, so my question is, am I stuffed? I realise that my roulette bet possibly violates the 30% rule, but what about all the money I won before hand on the slots? Will they just confiscate everything? My withdrawal is still in the 48hr pending box, the 48hrs is up at around 1900 today uk time. I just dont understand how they can lay on these unwanted bonuses, without warning or explanation, and the 30% rule is utterly ridiculous.. What if i had deposited £1000 and they had given me a bonus, the WR I would have to meet would be insane... Pretty much impossible, people may as well just throw their money away! I feel it is completely unfair to the player, and putting someone in a position where they are forced to pretty much lose all the money the deposited is certainly not inline with responsible gambling.... Long post, so apologies, but where do you think i stand? Thanks in advance.
