They should rename this thread the 'Apophenia Society'.
Yeah, always crosses my mind, that when you log into a game, what are you actually logging into? I mean, you can’t physically see a slot can you.Not much difference in the hit rate, but it's what you're hitting. Who knows whether the reel sets change per account if the game is aware of your rtp, doing well you get switched to the reels where the rtp is concentrated in base game hits that on average take 10,000 spins to hit, and bonus scatters are reduced.
Not sure of the legality of such a theoretical setup, but once I learned fixed odds based slot games have multiple reel sets it's made me suspicious, there's a route there to set gameplay against typical deposit/stake size/session length.
All theory mind you, just my layperson's thoughts of a way it might happen. Everything would still be random, but the odds change per reel set.
Well Mr. D, given the number of times you have had the proverbial (and rather audible) "vinegar stroke" when the D drops in on one of your Bonanza vids,Take the words 'highs' and 'euphoria' out of that last sentence and you know where I'm at....
That's a real poke in the eye. I've only had one zero-paying bonus ever, but I recall once playing on £4 spins (I had already cashed out a £500 profit) leaving about £130 in to carry on playing a little while. Down to £5.40, last £4 spin drops in GOLD. £1.40 left in balance plus any returns from the impending feature. Paid 0.35x. Didn't even have enough left for another £4 spin. So I know how this must have felt. VILE.When you catch the D with 55 cent left thinking you get more playtime

Definitely - had a session yesterday where the base game was not bad; say not bad, it was taking 70 quid from 100 one quid spins and then chucking in a 100x base game hit. Did this about 5 times before going dead but with no bonus. This game has a memory, most 25-50x base game wins are just very short term loans rather than a sign it's going to be a decent session
I've cut back on my Unibet Deposits by about 3/4: i only played two games there: Bonanza and Reactoonz 2. One's been gimped and, well one's been gimpedThe Relax version is an absolute bag of bent filth, it’s not even worth playing. Unibet must have increased their profit by millions by changing to that version, as my gameplay there became unrecognisable to what came before.
The Relax version has some incredibly lazy programming imo. The patterns your sessions take have little, if any variance. Still has some of the old traits but they seem even more prolific now…….Lots of trolling spins where diamonds appear on 5 reels but miss on 2, 3 or 4 to prevent a nice win, the dead spins in the bonus round and hits mainly paying on 4 reels only and the times in the base you hit 4 blocking rubies on reel 2 (next time you play look for this, it’s ridiculously frequent).
The most noticeable patterns are:- between 5 and 10 dead spins to start a session (never used to happen), Your deposit disappearing without trace in record time so often (could happen but a rarity), the amount of times you hit a x25 base win, only to be followed by dead spins that recoup it within seconds, the occasional time you get a decent run in the base but GOLD doesn’t appear (and you know it ain’t coming).
The only trait I can see on the winning side is a reasonably early GOLD that will pay between x100-x150, followed by another within 50 spins that usually pays something awful between x10 and x30. If you continue to play, it will rip the lot relatively quickly, without another decent hit.
Same shite happened over and over and they call it random. If it was random your balance would or should be up and down like the proverbial “brides” but it never is, It goes one way or the other, without much deviation. It’s virtually impossible to see 4 major swings in a session. Losing to winning to bust is 3 and the most you can expect to see.
What time did you start drinking?A couple of years back a played only Bonanza had some great wins on it now I would even touch it with free money... there are so many better games now!
