I agree, I got 2 more GOLD after my last hit above but it was nothing to write home about and it is getting frustrating with the " drops and nothing matches', started going down again so I just withdrew after that. Yeah, i took out what i put in and have now gone to lose my money in Merkurs - but least they'll give you a chance of a Monster. But yeah, the base game is where my withdrawals (not much mind you) are coming from. The Golds are, and i know people will say 'they've always been bad', getting worse and worse - when i started playing it wasn't uncommon to have 5 GOLDS in a night all over 100x - now you're lucky to be saying out loud '6 spins to go, x6 multi'

It's still a decent game for 100 spins to catch it in the mood, mind you. But prolonged exposure over the night normally never ends well.

I would probably feel the same.
Getting the retrigger is so rare that you kind of expect it to give you the 4oak wild for the 1000x.
Ive had that once. Never managed the full line for 2000x.

I had a win on this Few week ago but it still doesn’t change the fact this is another btg game that’s been tampered with. Bonus frequency changed drastically even on 10p!! It's probably the perfect slot; it's programmed to make you feel you've achieved something while often barely paying out. You can have four or five reactions and really only get 4x your stake from them in the base game. Not much different to a non-reaction slot, but feels different.

I played for 9 hrs Saturday night and 6 hours last getting 18 bonuses all pretty dire for bonanzas normal standard but for me it’s getting the bonus that gives me the buzz so in my mind the weekend was successful even tho I was down over all.

But i seriously think reel steal would be a good choice for 200x base & 500x bonus.
Plenty of lines&combinations can spit out the 200x in base, and its got more than enough potential to give a 500x in the bonus.
Its also somewhat easy to bonus (most are crap tho)

Another good choice i think would be a slot like Reel king, where you have the gamble ladder.
Sure, hitting the top is not easy, but squeesing out a 200x is probably not impossible with 250x stake starting balance.

Another way would be to save one spin and never play it.
Then die of old age... I would find a way out of it.

For me, the key to answering your question is bonus frequency.
Bonanza is clearly lacking in this regard when compared to my examples.
If my life is at stake, then you can bet your life that I am picking a game with a far better bonus triggering frequency. Simply because Bonanza's ability to spit out 200x in the base game comes nowhere near making up for the shortfall in its bonus frequency.

In fact, now that I think about it, I promote DHV to the same tier as IR and JP.
