I never go more than 100 on doa2 if no bonus drops in.
Usually if you land one in the first 50, it will give you a couple more, but if its dead the first 100 it can stay dead forever.
Same with doa/whos the bride.

Edit: I should add that if basegame is nice, i may keep going.
But doa2 basegame is usually pretty harsh compared to doa1

I normally go 200 but so lazy I can’t be arsed clicking out; just had one more so I’ll just stay with it unti I hit that 100000x...

I have been having a dabble again at Rizk. Let's just say at that casino, there's no ups and downs on Bonanza, only downs - over 4k just playing it at £1 spins mainly for 4 weeks. This is totally exceptional to how I am used to it playing - keep banging away you'll get hot and cold runs, can swing from a few k down to a few k up and vice-versa but you get about 96% in the end. As you know I have huge experience as it's virtually all I've played for over 3 years. Trust me, there's something not right about this run I'm on, something seems very off with 'their' Bonanza and I can't quite put my finger on it. Today I took a month off from the site. I'll tell you why:

Over 120 £40 deposits. A few I have managed to get to a few hundred and cash-out but it's rare that I even double one, and about 50% of the time £40 at £1 won't even get through the 100 auto-spins (needs a short term 67% to do so). Once, at Casumo, I had won on the game and w/d about 1200euros and was playing off the remaining 100 or so at 4e spins. With 5.40 left on the last full 4e spin the feature dropped in and I got my lowest ever return, 0.35x. Was pissed-off but thought little more of it as had just won well.

Today, I had a 107x feature on the 4th 'L' 3+1 cascade. On the 15th. 'L' it dropped straight in, 13x. I went another 600 spins and on the 27th. 'L' it dropped straight in again. I thought yeah, after 13x it should be OK. I had my first ever whitewash. I had to go out in the garden for 5 minutes to avoid damaging something.

I put another 140 in after this, lasted over 800 spins and I bust out after 2 hours having just got my 65th. 'L' of the day. I was seething, never, ever have I seen the game play so badly at any casino for such a prolonged period. I was thinking I have been playing a lower-RTP version at Rizk (not possible) or the game had been played about with in some way. This isn't just losing talk, you people know I have played the bastard a huge amount over the years, almost daily. This last 4 weeks has been an aberration, totally out of kilter with my previous experience of the game. This crap actually started end of March beginning of April at Betfred, when I noticed (although some of you will say I 'felt') that something was off with it, something wasn't quite right. So I quit there and joined Rizk 4 weeks ago. It's carried on where Betfred left off. So I quit the place in disgust after the vomitfilthscumbilecuntingturdshithouse feature above.

It's like that feeling you get when you know someone's been in the room, you subconsciously pick up that something's moved slightly or there's a smell of someone else being recently there although you can't precisely identify the specific reason(s) for what your brain is telling you. Whichever, I am leaving this for a long while. Good luck to the rest of you on it.

What a coincidence that is! I just made a deposit at Rizk and bust out in record speed as usual. Like yourself I play Bonanza almost everyday and I also play af a few different Casinos. As I logged out after another fruitless effort I seriously thought about not bothering to play there again.

At EVERY SINGLE Casino I play at, I either get a few decent base hits/a few bonuses or decent playtime before I bust most of the time, but at Rizk not once in the last 12 deposits have I had anything other than a “sharp exit”. Prior to that my account had been dormant for about 10 months as they asked me for SOW immediately after I made a deposit meaning my money was held to ransom. It wasn’t a big deposit so not the end of the world but morally and ethically I felt it was wrong and was in no rush to comply.

I have maintained and always will, that when you are playing slots you do not have the same chance of winning everyday. I know people mock this and take it as someone who has had a bad day. This is not the case if I won everyday I wouldn’t change my opinion.

I have too much experience of playing FOBTS for years on end observing how they played and also had access to the daily figures in and out via a friend who works for a high street bookie. The only difference playing online is that the games payout a higher percentage that is a definite but on the days that slot is not paying out it will not matter if you throw £10,000 at it, you will not win. They are not random in the sense they are portrayed, it really is as simple as that. I can’t tell you how it does work so most people will say you have no proof etc, etc. No I don’t but I am a very observant person and I know my eyes don’t deceive me. From experience my guess is they are “super compensated”. Therefore they can take extreme amounts and payout the same but always keep their said percentage.

If you look at it logically it cannot be left to chance in respect of some of these newer slots paying the correct rtp. On games like Bonanza there are just too many variables for it to ever be running at the correct rtp. There are billions of permutations and you could do billions of spins (theoretically if it was random) without some of them showing up. Couple that with games like millionaire where you can gamble your bonus rounds. How can that possibly be factored into rtp when you have no idea how many players will gamble etc. Uri Geller fooled the vast majority of the world for years into thinking he could bend spoons with his mind. He managed to this in-front of everybody’s eyes so don’t be fooled into thinking it would be that difficult for providers to do it behind closed doors.

P.S. I know I have replied to your thread @dunover and initially was going to leave it after the Rizk comparison but then thought while I am on a roll, I may aswell make it a general post to all.

Look at mine last night! 10 bonuses looks good but I have had one in the past that paid more than all those put together. I have noticed lately how the bigger bonuses have gone AWOL.
 
I hit the bonus on Rizk today as well. (I play low stakes so 20p spins) Came in about the 10th spin. First 8 spins were dead..not a thing, the rest gave me a grand total of £7.71.

Moved onto HV and again another bonus of £3.80...

i logged off after that! :laugh:

I know it's nowhere near the level and amount that you guys play but i just had to vent somewhere! Nobody else understands! :p
 
Tonight 50 went in and 200 out mainly due to the base game hitting ok ish. Even allowed me to dabble in some 4 quids before the tide started to turn.

The casino I associate with good runs on B has always been Casumo: before that, it was Leo Vegas; still the memory of 3 Golds in row, and 15 in an hour and a half, shines bright

MTS sites have always been shite for me.

I’ve ready for giving up on this, finding it monotonous going hundreds or thousands of spins for a bonus that pays on average the same as just about every other non megaways slot out there.

I have been trying the Nolimit City slots the past 3 days and although the base games are not as kind on the balance as Bonanza can be, I’ve had eight 100x plus bonus wins and many 50x hits on the base game.

I just need to get out the habit of having a win on another slot then losing it all on Bonanza and I might be able to make my first withdrawal in eight weeks.

100x is really quite the achievement in the bonus; where’s all the 500 to 750x wins that it used to thrown out in 2017? My 700 odd from last week was my first in ages. Average over the last year must be in and around the 50 to 75x mark max

The only one I can answer is that we are not imagining it. You would have to be ignorant to not notice. If a bit more rtp has been added to the base at the cost of the bonus, I can definitely think of the ulterior motive. ;)

When I started to play it two years ago I used to hit big bass game hits all the time I remember one time I hit £250 base game on 20p stake however it dried up then it was shit base game ok bonuses, now it’s shit bonus ok base game, the bonuses have definitely been changed on this it annoys me though that they don’t tell the players I know they have no obligation too but it’s almost like you just know 10000% it’s been changed

Yes the relentless dead spins in the bonus round, coupled with any win you do have, having 0 possibilities to win on the cascade. The continual 2 cart blocker and restricted amount of ways along with the first cart often having the bogus wild are just some of the things that aren’t just down to bad luck.

Also noticed when it’s in a good mood the reels spins faster. What dunover wrote about is how it plays on Rizk is how it is for me on paddy power and bet365 and recently metal and calzone it’s absolute poison and it’s beyond bad, as bad as it can be it’s terrible on these sites literally the tiniest of micro wins and dead spins for all we know they could offer these sites different rtp bonanza, for anyone who says not possible why wouldn’t it be possible, for the right $$$$$$ anything is possible these sites are massive globally bet365 and pp I really do believe they have done a little golden handshake with btg in exchange for revenue they have done a lower rtp deal Hahahaha I sound mental but I truly believe that’s what is going on

Funnily enough i was saying this the other day (apart from SV where it's always faster) - on Casumo there's been a few times i've gone 'oh, the reels are spinning faster, bonus must be on its way!' and hey presto!

Obviously this is a non scientific comment
 
I believe it’s possible to run a game at what ever rtp you desire. Why would providers just make 3 versions i.e. 92%, 94% or 96%?

The percentage payout on AWP’s was adjustable at the flick of a switch years ago so you can’t tell me with the way technology has advanced that this is not possible today.

I have mentioned it before but when High street Bookies ran competitions the manager would stick a key in the side of the FOBT to change the mode it was in and hey presto during your comp play it was like the things we’re paying 200%. The wins were just crazy like nothing you would ever see with real money. This was purposely done to encourage irregular players to think this is easy I must start playing for real money. How morally and ethically wrong is that but believe me that is what happened.

People say, “well how come disgruntled employees have never blown the whistle”? Fair point but then look at a lot of sports, especially horse racing, where quite a few people have to be in on “a fix” and given that there are hundreds of owners, trainers, jockeys etc, when did one of them openly admit to the public what really goes on?

The thing is when you have governing bodies who are keeping things supposedly “in check” they have to know what they are looking for. What backgrounds do these people have?

I have been around a bit and worked in a lot of different environments and I have seen some pretty incompetent people when it comes to regulating authorities.

I remember two H&S inspectors coming to visit a small company I worked for. They spotted 3 out of a dozen things that didn’t comply. Another time I was audited by Customs and Excise. My books were in pretty good order but one or two things didn’t quite add up. They sent a lovely young lady (thankfully), probably just out of College.

By the time it came round to the “ahem” part I had deduced she hadn’t got much idea of what she was doing so I offered to do it for. Obviously making her life easier she agreed and I was able to shuffle a few things she didn’t see and all was good. What I am saying is, if the people investigating are inexperienced and do not know what they are looking for how much are they prepared to be led and believe what they are hearing?

Strange isn’t it how we here of so many people registering at a dodgy Casino and hitting a fantastic win straight off, first go. Would it be possible that these rogues are running the games at a higher rtp. After all they weren’t going to pay you anyway so it wouldn’t matter.

Yes more and more they are instilling in players that games are HV, meaning you cannot expect to win big unless you invest big theoretically but of course for me there is the problem of investing big only to eventually hit a bonus that pays x10.

These “tie you in” games shouldn’t be allowed imo. Where you basically collect tokens towards an eventual trigger. It stands to reason most will pay less than the cost of collecting them otherwise the slot loses money. It’s basically being asked to pay a random amount for a scratch card as I see it.
