Just wondered what your experiences have been with bodog software..I think they have great customer service/support..However, it takes forever, i really mean forever to download a game. I have tried everything..Just wanted to know if you had any input, suggestions, etc...thanks
 
uh......I have a mac. So I have to use parallels. Which makes everything super, super-slow and crashy. So I don't know, but Bodog's didn't seem that much slower to me than the usual type software download.

'Course, it's still frustrating having to download anything. =) 554kb in-browser, dudes...get it while I'm desperate...

Thanks for your input..I am at wits end..I literally spent 4 hours with different reps from bodog this morning..Uninstalling, reinstalling, etc.,. etc...Once in a while a game will download (after about 20 minutes)..9 out of 10 times it will make it to 90% complete and just stop...I have money in my account and cannot access a game to play....Yikes...
 
Ooh. That doesn't sound normal. I'd say you've got some kind of corruption on your hard disk or something, to some of the libraries they use, but at a guess, I don't really know. Tech support couldn't clear it up? Have you tried it on a different machine?
 
Weplant, you have issues on your computer, possibly cross corruption from other programs. You need a good registry cleaner, malware cleaner and virus scan.

dude, just use bootcamp, partition ur drive and run windows as a seperate system, so much faster in my exp...

Hey there,

I spoke with the Bodog Casino manager about your download complaint and he hasn't heard any other indications of this issue. You could try to play on the instant play flash game, or if the issue is on the instant play client, try the downloadable client to see if that works. You can also try the instant play on another computer to rule out whether it is a problem local to your PC or not.

Regardless, I suggest that you give CS a call- they will be happy to help.

I am using Vista and I have found Bodog comes up with an error saying "Download failed. Unable to create file."

After some trial and error I found that it works when you right click Bodog and run it as administrator.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions..I really appreciate it...I am right clicking and running as administrator...I spent the entire day yesterday trying to get some play time..Well, at least I am not going through my money as fast...

Sometimes the game will download, it usually takes about 15 minutes, but most times it will never download..then once in a while it downloads, hit spin and the reels never stop..Yikes...

I am a computer idiot, so please explain where do I find these different 'cleaning' programs you are suggesting...

I worked with Bodog cs for several hours yesterday, they said there is nothing else they could do for me...By the way, I have the same problem on the flash casino also...

I have 10 other casinos downloaded and no problem..Why would I have such a problem with just 1 casino? Thanks so much...I really want to play:oops:
 
I wanted to mention one more thing. something really bizarre happened yesterday..They told me to turn off my firewall, etc. uninstall and reinstall again..I had done that several times but thought I would give it one more try..Well when I highlighted Bodog and hit uninstall, it started uninstallling everying on my computer, even though it said uninstalling Bodog..I even lost my Quickbooks (for my business)..Luckily I was able to restore that...I tried it again and again it just starts uninstalling everying I had to quickly shut the computer off manually..It erased most of my other casinos..Crazy...Help...

i stumbled onto casinomeister searching for a solution to an error mssg that wont allow me to create a file... Hopefully SOMEBODY can help!!!
