Wanted to make a new thread about Bitcoin casinos and one in particular that has been pretty exceptional since i joined.

So i have been playing with Bitcoin at quite a good few Bitcoin casinos over the years. I have seen some amazing casinos and practices, and some very shady and questionable things too.

I will say though....playing with Bitcoin in general is so, so nice compared to any other currency. Everything is instant, with no silly middle man or third party or bank to try and lay claim or mess you about. All you have to do is wait for it to confirm, which does not take long at all.

Changing the Bitcoin into any other currency you want, be it GBP, EUR, whatever is all very simple and easy. Plus, many shops take Bitcoin now, and there are Bitcoin ATMs littered everywhere (in the UK at least).

I wont bore you with the details too much, but I have been playing at one called Betcoin.ag for a period of time now. And its pretty fantastic. So I make a deposit, around 10 mbtc (roughly £50) and start playing some endorphina slots. No luck, but I get in touch with support to ask about the welcome bonus of 100%, and 10 free spins. They add the 100% on my deposit, and add some free spins. Nothing exceptional so far. I open the free spins game, and the stake is set at 3 mbtc a spin. Which is around £16 a spin:O So i spin and win around 100 mbtc. Awesome, but i go to live chat to ask now, what horrific wagering do i need to do. None they say, its yours to withdraw. I was stunned, mainly because when a casino says here have some free spins, im used to 10 spins at 10p on sodding Starburst, not £16 with no wagering. Of course, If you are unlucky and dont hit a thing during these spins, you will be sick as a dog. I dont imagine the spins are given out liberally, but even so.

The community and staff there are fantastic too. Everyone wants everyone to enjoy themselves and is nothing but polite. The management do not muck about.

I do not need to submit ID, I do not need to do source of wealth checks, I do not need to expose who I am.

Bitcoin is anonymous, and most of the casinos stick by that.

Is it a very grey area? Is it a ticking time bomb? Perhaps, but my god is it fun:O

Has anyone here gone full on into a Bitcoin casino with perhaps not the most solid license? I know it sounds crazy, but as it stands I trust a casino such as Betcoin over several UKGC casinos. Interested to hear if anyone has any positive, bad stories or whatever.

None! But as withdrawals rely on the Blockchain and are essentially instant, as long as you are smart, it minimises the worry:)

But yes, If something were to truly go horribly wrong, I would very possibly be screwed. But you need to choose a casino that is decent, as i say. And i wont lie, it is a minefield.

Seeing as your in the UK, can't really see what difference it makes to playing in cash at an accredited casino?.

I've never paid fees to deposit or withdraw ever, and I know 100%, that I will be paid.

When welcome offers seem to good to be true, they generally are.

Looks like your playing with fire to be honest, just hope you don't end up getting burnt.

All valid points on the possibly getting burnt, it has not happened yet in a few years, but i know how it sounds.

I will also add however and it probably is pretty important piece of info, that I mine Bitcoin/ Eth constantly. So perhaps as I constantly have a stream of currency coming in, I might be a little biased;)

Hasn't the Bitcoin value been dropping drastically for the last 6 months and is expected to keep falling?.

Can't see why anyone would turn cash into Bitcoin to gamble with (unless they are limited on deposit options) Because unless they win on their deposit and turn it back into cash, they could end up losing some of the winnings. That's if they pay you out on a big win. Betcoin don't exactly come with a clean bill of health. Withholding Jackpots for a start.

Seeing as you mine Bitcoin. I can see it's very much in your interest to promote a Bitcoin casino and have more people use it.

But I would say most regulars to Casinomeister, would give Betcoin casino a miss.

Would just like to clarify, there is no promotion - I just wanted to see what people who I know are very clued up and perhaps very skeptical, thought.

I stand to gain nothing if people decided to play with bitcoin or not. And I only pointed out how impressed I was with a certain casino, which i think may have been a mistake if it is taken as some sort of plug for them.

The advantages are there, and there are some negatives. To deny the fact that truly instant withdrawals are a wonderful thing would be a mistake. I will not try to convince anyone however, I just wanted a discussion. Believe me, it took me a while to brave trying a non UKGC or likewise casino and deposit. I take full responsibility for my own actions.

Fair enough.

Sorry if I sounded a bit blunt or harsh.

The idea of using only bitcoin is intriguing, so I just signed up with betcoin.ag, to take a look.

I can't connect to the Live Casino for some reason, is that an issue with you? Perhaps I need a funded account to be able to connect.

I actually play at some of these casinos too, once you go to playing/funding with bitcoin, with the instant payouts, no fees and no id checks you never go back to playing at other online casinos

I gave it a try, but Evolution's Live Casino is not available, to UK players, and the minimum stakes are a bit vicious. I can't imagine your £50 lasted very long.

Let's see what the withdrawal procedure holds in store. :)

What is the best way to store your bitcoins, after withdrawing? I'm totally clueless on this subject.

Hi, apologies for late reply.

To make things very easy for yourself, I would recommend just a straight forward Blockchain bitcoin wallet. It displays exactly what your coin is worth in whatever currency, and is very gentle in terms of guiding you through depositing/ withdrawing.

Also, on the subject of the stake size at Betcoin for example, some games have a ridiculous minimum bet. Just for reference, the Endorphina and Quickspin games have respectable stakes. The Betsoft ones can be a little silly, like 1 mbtc a spin minimum. The live Casino i must admit I have never tried, as its not really what i go for. I did not know it wasnt available for Uk players. However, and I may be wrong, ask in live chat if you are allowed to use a VPN. They may be OK with it, I know it has been OK at other Bitcoin Casinos in the past.

Thanks for that! Which wallet do you use? Is 'Blockchain' the name of a wallet?

I'll check out the VPN option, might work. I can get on the Hollywood TV Live roulette, but it is 1 mBTC minimum

Thanks Dwyer, I'll check it out.

I can see the advantages of this kind of set up, and the customer support is excellent so far, like you said. :)

No problem, hope it goes OK for you:) Interested to hear how your experience goes. I will say that it can be quite intimidating at first, but once you get your head around it all, you come to really see its merits.

On the VPN thing - I have just asked myself, and was told basically, since they do not check for ID, they do not allow VPNs. IP address is the only way they can stop more than one account being opened or abused etc:) which makes sense.
