Bit Coin Casinos Review

I think bitcoins have same really great future tbh. Withdrawals to bitcoins are lightning fast, always, not depending of your location. It is anonymous - no headache with verification, etc.
But there is couple of problems already, including such donkeys like bitcasino who use stolen software and just ruin reputation of other honest bitcoin casinos who are quite good.
Still does not touch this bitcoins, but probably give it a go in near future, everything looks fine with it.

The anonymity is one of the main problems; steal some bitcoins, spend or gamble them with impunity.

That's an excellent point. As an operator, I would want to know who I am doing business with - in fact, most are compelled to request this information RE: their licensing agreements.

I have a hard time believing that a casino would not require this information.

According to any of the operators, if you cash out more than 1 BTC they could require more information. Yet I even cashed out over that one good weekend 2 BTCs and never had a question asked.

Anywho, I suppose I must have been e-mailing the wrong people. Apparently there software provider in itself must be rogue as well. My dearest apologies to all. It was just a nice change of pace to win more often than loosing at most of the RTGs, 3Dice, and other places that are limited to US folks.

I apologize to anyone who might have believed I misled them. I do believe Bit Coin has a nice atmosphere for those who don't want to have the banks controlling there finances. Anywho, since apparently I caused more trouble than what it was worth. I'll stop posting about any further Bit Coin Casinos.

You have nothing to apologize for. You started a good conversation with some great dialog that ultimately lead to uncovering a problem.
I would say you deserve a gold star.

Just be sure casino is legit, AFAIK currently softwares which integrated with bitcoins is: softswiss and betsoft. There is even softswiss rep, who will be able to answer your question and provide some help if needed.

fisrt time expreience

I played last night for the first time.
I played at bitcasino.io for the first and last time. Thanks to everyone for the information you guys provided about them.
I played at bitstars.

The banking process was a little different than usual, but nothing I could not handle or get used to. what I really had a problem with was managing my funds.

When your used to dealing in $$ it's hard to have your brain switch to a new currency. Even though they list it as coins, I really had to pay a lot of attention every time I played and double check my first spin to be sure the right amount was bet.
As soon as I got comfortable, bam I was betting 0.0200 (about $10 a spin) when I thought I was playing .002 ($1). Of course all losing spins and ate up a lot of my bank roll.

The software is just not designed well for users to deal with this IMO. I put so much effort into having to figure out my bet every time that I did not enjoy the games as much. It felt too much like work.

I have a hard time believing that a casino would not require this information.

I have a hard time believing any legitimate casino would not require this information.

As for this bitcoin malarkey, can't see the point. I'll stick with known companies and neteller with a net+ card, thanks!

Thank you cheetahwind for the information. I am with you on being tired of the same software. I have not tried the bitcoin casino because it does seem like a lot of work. I do not post often here but i do enjoy reading your posts and others. Congrats on your win :).

Hello everyone!

First post on casinomeister to try to clear a few things out. Regarding the similarities with Guts:

Before designing Bitstars casino we did a lot of research and what really inspired us was essentially two brands - betsafe.com and the old Casumo design which used the arrow on top and, logo in the middle and zig zag pattern in the footer. We have added few elements like bottom page “most popular” which can be found in numerous other casinos like www.videoslots.com and right side buttons like winners, help widgets that we believe are very useful and you can find them all over other casinos as well also www.mrgreen.com.

Not only we strived to come up with the best elements for casino interface but we have also made our page responsive and device aware making the experience adapt the size of the screen of our users. We put a great effort into that and if you check the brands previously mentioned non of them has the responsive page up to this day yet.

We are also very proud that we have a great team of designers who have many years of experiences working for the biggest iGaming companies in Malta. They are guilty for many unique banners and marketing material on our page and have created more than 500 unique retina ready icons and game backgrounds for our casino. My personal favourite is our mascot - a black and white cat which is always friendly following around our casino.

While it is true that the front page turned out to have similarities to Guts, looking at our internal pages like about us, promotions, my account, deposit, withdraw reveals no resemblance.

Bitstars is coded from ground up by our IT engineers in partnership with Softswiss white label provider who have done a great job by who is using the latest technologies to bring the best.

As for other technical differences goes:

- accepting bitcoins and real currency
- wagering in bitcoins and real currency
- truly automatic instant cash outs for real money and bitcoins* (as long as the user falls into the white area of our automatic security checks)
- responsive page
- live feed of latest winners

Although the choice of a couple of design elements and colors brings similarities to Guts' frontpage, we would like to stress that we have no relation whatsoever with them. Online casinos are structurally very similar nowadays (specially white label ones), because such design is proved to work, but we are always looking forward and if we believe that it must be changed, it will in the future.

And to finalize, when it comes to user anonymity, well, that's one of the characteristics of Bitcoin. When opening a casino that accepts bitcoins, that's something that you must deal with the same way the market does. Considering it is something still in its infancy, there is a lot to be learnt with bitcoin handling, but we do believe that being on the forefront will give us advantage in the future to solve any issues that may arise. And it is important to observe that we do request KYC for bitcoin players that cash out 6 or more bitcoins in total. However, note that KYC verification may occur at an earlier or additionally at a later stage for security reasons.

Our best,
Bitstars.net Team

Hello & welcome
If you are representing BitStars then you need to contact the big man himself so you can be properly identified for the forum community.

Looking at bitstars the jurassic park game looks a lot of fun. Do they offer any casino meister sign up bonuses?

Unfortunately all those games are locked for players with USA IP addresses.

Since the T & C state that this is virtual funds and not currency why are these games not available? I also noted there are no T & C preventing use of a VPN. When I use a VPN I can see those games but they still fail to actually launch in fun mode.

Hi Googobucs,

Yes, you're right. We are working on having locks showing on games that can't be played in these cases, not to mislead customers. Should be up pretty soon.

Best regards,

Oh ok was looking at online videos. Thanks for the info

Bitcoin

Rather than locking the games I would prefer you work with the game providers to allow them to be played by anyone, anywhere with bitcoin.
I'm a little confused on the Bitcoin theroy.,I thought the whole idea behind Bitcoin was to be de centeralised by the government's. So I would think anyone could play any game at any Bitcoin casino..I may be wrong on my understanding if I am would someone enlighten me please thanks..

to play any software with bitcoin currency this software should first agree to integrate with bitcoins(right now it is betsoft, softswiss). More will come, i can bet on this, just question of time.
You can agree to wait legal games(integration), or can join idiots like bitcasino.io, who stole games, and do whatever they want.

Hi,

The word "similarity" may be a bit light as I would say it is almost identical with the same shading on the buttons, same indexing, same header and design when you scroll down the page. You have also taken the design from the payments information page, and copied the FAQ indexing almost to the word with almost the same design although yours is in a different iFrame.

Although Guts was a white label at the start our intention which is now a reality was to operate on our own licenses using EM's software. This is why we put so much time and effort into developing and coding our own site as we knew in the near future we would be fully hosting it, oh, also as we wanted to have a unique product which we did have until now.

Not cool in my opinion,

Ben

I have been following this thread closely because like you, as an American, I long for a better alternative to RTG and the other US Facing operators. I fully appreciate all the information that you, Gogobucs, and others have shared in this thread. To say I am SICK of RTG would be a gross under statement.

I have yet to purchase Bitcoin--or play on any of the sites mentioned in this thread. The concerns raised by other forum members seem valid but for the most part seem to be speculation.

Their contrary observations or opinions are typical of what you might expect in any forum. This is an EXCELLENT thread and I really hope you will continue post.

I'm set up to buy Bit Coin. Before I dive in however, I want to be certain I'm dealing with an honest site running honest games.

Why do you believe it's pirated?

BC-CASINO offers Playtech games.
From what I've been able to find so far it looks like they are using pirated software as well, so another place to avoid.

I played for fun quite a bit in that casino. I've never played a Playtech casino but I would like to give it a shot. I did not see a Playtech Logo anywhere on their site. May I ask why you think it is pirated?

Bryan, can you check with Playtech on this one?

I did a Google search and came up with some reviews claiming that the software was stolen. I don't want to post links here, you can easily search and find them.
The lack of the Playtech logo or mention of it anywhere on the web site is another red flag.

Also, I saw that to get all the games you need to download the casino, but the download takes you to a 404 error page. Very suspicious.

On the flip side of the coin, I did find their CS to very friendly & helpful to me in understanding bitcoin and the process. But that does not make up for the fraudulent software IMO.

Additional info added :
Here is an excerpt from a review if that is helpful:
- There is no Playtech logo or 'Powered by Playtech' which is on all legit sites;

- There is no licensing around the contact info;

- The name they list, "Global Entertainment Services Limited," is close to the name of a Kahnawake commission permit holder, but not the same entity;

- Not the normal login field, in the Flash or the download version;

- The installer is not the one Playtech uses. Playtech uses a branded installer with the logo from the casino, and not a standard installer like BC-Casino uses;

- The number keypad where you have to type your username and password is not from Playtech;

I thought i told you...K, again.
No any major software currently intergrated with BTC. Only softswiss and betsoft. if you see MG/netent/playtech - it is copy game, if you deposit in such casino - you support scammers and idiots who stole games.
I'll let you know if any major software add BTC as currency => will be available to play.

I'm actually speculating that Playtech will be the first to jump on board here with bitcoin and allowing everyone to play anonymously on their software.
They seem to have a bad reputation and it would help line their pockets by opening up to the masses without having to fix any of their issues.

I see they offer SoftSwiss and Amatic Slots. Do you know if they will accept US players and if the Amatic slots will be available for US players? They are not available on Bitstars.

Unfortunately, we do not accept players from the USA :( I wish we could do that.

Is there an actual law against online gambling/online bitcoin gambling in the USA or is it a gray zone?
A popular Bitcoin Dicing Site has also stopped allowing customers from the US about half a year ago, I think.
Has there been any new law against online gambling at that time?

On line gaming and gambling in general is not illegal in the USA. This is a states rights issue. Some states allow gaming, some do not. I believe only 1 or 2 specifically make online gaming illegal, and 1; New Jersey has made it legal.

The federal Government has no jurisdiction over gambling so they went after the financial transactions and made those illegal.

I'm sure there is a lot more to it that can be explained in 1000 pages of legal documents, but that is the limit of what I know or even really care to know :D on the topic.

Now the question becomes, is bitcoin a "currency" or not? Some say yes, some say no. Who is willing to push the limits of the US federal government to find out that answer and at what cost?

Well, I've seen a a bitcoin dicing site that allowed any IP's from customers, but by making an account you would have to tick a box that sais "I confirm that online Bitcoin gambling is legal in my jurisdiction"
Not sure if that tickbox has any legal value though or if they just made something up to make themselves feel safer.

I hope everyone has had a good holiday so far here in the US. I know I've had a good 2 days off so far.

Anywho, it would appear while were naming rather rogue casinos. That mBit may as well be added to that list. Since they used the same exact platform as BitCasino.io they would be in the same league as them.

Also for what it's worth, apparently Net Ent must have been pretty swift about getting on there case about removing the games. Mainly because I kid you not within the day of CM posting about the stolen games. They were promptly removed.

I can't imagine it'd be too much longer before the Aristocrat and a few others get removed as well. Mainly because noticing it, there really isn't the standard copyright in the Aristocrat games either.

I haven't had a chance to look at too many other Bit Coin casinos mainly because this last week was hell at work, and I'm also on a mini vacation visiting family and of the sorts. So hopefully starting next week I can find some better places to play and all.

Have a good Holiday all.

Oh and one other tid bit I also found out about Bit Casino.io.

The software they claim to be providing them the games that they provide. Is also themselves. The software shares the same license as BitCasino.io and there Sports Better operation.

So that's why I was getting all of the wrong answers. Ok back the holidays.

Hi There,

Just wanted to say thanks for this thread, I'll be following it closely, once you get your head around how bitcoins work, it's so much better! I think bitcoins are here to stay and it's only a matter of time before it becomes more user friendly.

I've been investing in XRP (ripple) which is based on the bitcoin block chain and is also a money transfer protocol. For a better explanation, here is a link :
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
as I suck at technical explanations! In the past I've deposited direct from my debit account to my bitcoin wallet with Kracken and it was basically instant.

I also am VERY EXCITED to see that CM's Accredited Casino section now has a clause for protecting us for Bitcoin transactions.

This has been added since there seems to be a number of new bitcoins casino, some of which do not require players to submit ID docs to prove who they are. It's all anonymous. This opens the gateway for under age gambling, fraud, and money laundering. All casinos listed at Casinomeister need to perform due diligence on knowing who their players are. As far as I know, all casinos listed here comply with this already. If not, they have 30 days to enact an acceptable KYC policy.

Anyway, I'm curious and will be researching about the following:

1. 3rd party payment processing companies for Bitcoins
2. eWallets/ Desktop that are being accepted or excluded - is this even an issue if you provide them your "send to" deposit address?
3. Customer Service Experiences with help setting UP these things! How far are they willing to go to assist you to get your business?
4. Casinos that work in Canada, good ones and bad ones, etc.

Perhaps we could set up "sub" sections in the forum under a new "bitcoin casino TIPS" section? I think this technology will move very fast and it will be great to learn from and share information within the CM community as this new exciting "era" in technology becomes mainstream.

Thanks Again Everyone!

Maybe Bryan can go after them for stealing content from CM? reported
