Bit Coin Casinos Review

what ive seen

Some of the aristocrat copys are quite god seems they have ripped off the iphone versions rather than the pc browser versions
id say the iphone version would be easier to hack up and the package would be built easier to work with than having to build it from scratch

I signed up at Bitstars but . . .

The management has confirmed that US players will be allowed to play for Bitcoins soon. We just need to apply few technical fixes. Will keep you posted.

As an American, it seems the only games I can play are the same BetSoft games I could play anywhere. Did I miss something?

Until you are able to offer some games for Bitcoin wagering that are currently unavailable to US Residents I doubt I'll deposit. We are HUNGRY for VARIETY and SICK of RTG.

Yes :) I was talking about Princess Star casino, not Bitstars :) There will be Amatic games available.

Also the question is when quickfire is going to allow Bitcoins. Right now they block their games for every player with USA IP address, or with VPN. So firstly you need one legislation like Curacao officially allowing Bitcoins, and then Microgaming will come.

I put this is winning screen shots but I think this is a good teaching screen shot for this thread as well. I have a lot of trouble calculating my bet size and was concerned about breaking the bonus terms. Support did e-mail me back and I'm good so I just need to make WR.
So here is how to calculate the wager in bitcoin on the bet below:
5 lines, bet size is 1.00 for a total bet of 500. In bitcoin terms that is equal to .005 btc

The bet I was concerned about was 9 lines 5 coins per line coin value of .05. 9x5x.05=225 or .00225btc bet size.

In further review of Bitstars ( I did not sleep much last night thinking I had blown $700) the T&C states:

Until the play through requirements have been met, the maximum bet that can be placed is €5 or 100 mBTC (0.1 BTC). This includes double up wagers after the game round has been completed, for example, wagering winnings from X game round on red/black.

now euro does not apply to me because I'm playing in Bitcoin, the mBTC means nothing to me because americans don't know the metric system so again, this is not the currency break down for me so I see the generic decimal format of 0.1 BTC and that makes sense to me.

Problem is that 0.1 BTC is about $50 and probably a typo. That is more that 5 Euros and I'm guessing is off 1 decimal place for 100 mBTC. I am e-mailing bitstars to correct this as it most likely needs to state .01 BTC and this is what I was focused on during my play. I did not break it anyway but it could have gotten ugly if I had. ( you have been warned)

The Bitstars Team says... Thanks!

Hi there,

Thank you so much for highlighting this typo:)

We have now amended the terms and conditions and the clause reads as per below:

Until the play through requirements have been met, the maximum bet that can be placed is €5 or 15 mBTC (0.015 BTC). This includes double up wagers after the game round has been completed, for example, wagering winnings from X game round on red/black.

Here at bitstars we always appreciate feedback and in this case such honest feedback saved us from a potentially sticky situation so thanks again for that.

As a side note - I recommed you log into your Bitstars.net account today Googobucs as we have left you something as a token of our appreciation :)

Thanks again and keep that feedback coming guys :)

Not sure I understand. Are you talking about the gamble feature? So if I won $ 5.00 on a game, then hit the gamble button I broke the terms if I win? Or even if I simply won 3.00, the gamble feature would put me over. Why not disable the gamble feature during bonus play then? As that would be very easy to break the term if I'm understanding it correctly? And I've always thought the gamble feature was part of the original slot spin, just a different way of showing results. In other words I figured it was already determined from the slot spin if I would win my gamble, and if so how many I would win. Then from there if I actually lost the gamble I figured it was no different than simply losing a few normal spins. So if I lost a 10.00 gamble I figured I was going to lose approx 10.00 worth of slot spins anyway. I know that sounds silly but it wouldn't have crossed my mind that was part of the max bet limit.

For that matter I still don't understand why places don't just limited the bet amount. Sorry to beat a dead horse, but at the 3dice blackjack table for example if I take a bonus, my max bet is limited. Same with a few other casinos. If a game or bet size is not allowed, the game will kick you out, or not allow the bet size.

when converting mtc to us dollars, I like the little calculator at the bottom of the game screens that will calculate at the current conversion rate (this is on bit stars)
The nice thing is you can either put the us dollar amount in or the m bit amount in and it will convert that
so right now 266 m bit coins = $100 usd

Thanks. This is really helpful. I never really know how much my bet size is. I just guess at it. This will be really helpful for me.

Bitstars update

I completed my bonus wagering last night about 8pm and cashed out 1.650 BTC ( $625) on my $50 deposit. I left about $50 to play with.
The withdraw hit my wallet at 2am so 6 hours to process. It's Saturday so not sure how long it will take Circle to get it to my bank account. I guess it will be there Monday based on Cheetahwinds experience with Circle and bank to bank transfers but I never count my eggs until they are in the basket

This is my first cash out and I've had a lot of dealings with their CS folks and so far the experience has been really good. If they continue down this path I predict the first bitcoin accredited may be these guys.

Thanks for the update

If it doesn't post Monday it should Tuesday at latest I forget if the wekends come into play with the bank to bank transfers I just know seems like it's withdrawal with Circle weekday get next business day

I'm curious though what fee bit stars charges on deposits because it says send any amount plus miner fee. What's a miner fee?

The only fees that I have noticed so far are when I actually purchase the bitcoin. I purchased $50 and there was a $1.45 fee but that was on the Circle side.
I just looked at my last transaction and I sent .1362 btc from circle and bitstars posted .1362 btc to my account. So there was no fee that I can see.

Cool that's not much. And thanks for explaining I wonder why I purchased $45 and showed up less at bit stars. It's on the circle side :)

It could also be because the BTC rate against the $ fluctuates constantly. I make my purchase in $$$'s but I always do my transfers in BTC to keep it clean. Otherwise you end up with odd .0021001 amounts in your wallet. :D

I'm a little lost when you said metric the conversation is 1000 mBTC = 1 bitcoin

I'm a little lost when you said metric the conversation is 1000 mBTC = 1 bitcoin

If you say so. 1000 mbtc could = a pot of chicken noodle soup for all I know. The m part is what throws me off because it's a metric term. I sort of learned this in 3rd grade so I think the m mean either meter, micro or milli and I dont really know what those thing mean either... but who knows....LOL

If Jimmy Carter had been re-elected i could probably tell you what mbtc means :D

Yes 1,000 ,BTC = 1 BTC or Bit Coin. So if you deposit 0.05 BTC that would be 50 mBTC.

I know it's weird and takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it. It's not so bad.

So it would appear that Bit Coin casinos are now sprouting up like fire.

There's another new casino out called Tetraplay Casino. Uses the BetSoft 3D Slots as it's main primary gaming provider. They also carry some my favorite Sugar Pop and Boomanji.

Otherwise the only thing I'm confused about was the bonus system. It would appear that the bonuses aren't credited the standard way. Basically you make your deposit, play with your money first. Then if you loose on your own money. Then they credit you a bonus with a wagering requirement. Otherwise if you win on your own money, you won't have to worry about a bonus being attached with a wagering requirement. Then you can cash out right away without needing to grind out wagering. Especially if it's a nice win. I guess because this seems new to me, I haven't made a deposit yet to see if it really works that way. If it does that would be awesome.

Otherwise the minimum to deposit for a bonus is 0.1 BTC. Which for some folks like myself would then require at least a $40 deposit to get a bonus in return. (Round figure BTW, not really the exact amount, but just giving people an idea of what the approx round figured USD amount would be).

Then apparently now 5dimes.eu also takes Bit Coins now. Minimum deposit is $100 USD in Bit Coin. So basically at least 0.4 BTC minimum to make a deposit that way. Otherwise I have no idea if you withdrawal the same way or not.

Just a few things that I have found out this weekend, while finally having some time to explore some other Bit Coin options. Hopefully will update more in the future.

I can confirm that the RTG powered casino operated by 5Dimes is for all intents and purposes now "Bitcoin friendly" as BTC deposits and withdrawals are supported by 5Dimes.

This supports my earlier prediction that at least one significant US facing RTG casino would get on the Bitcoin bandwagon within a year. This really should be a huge wakeup call to Club World, Inetbet, and the Jackpot Capital groups. The longer they drag their feet and stay in the cumbersome credit cards and checks world the more likely they will bleed players to the Bitcoin rooms.

Just a matter of time IMO.

Bitcoin seems to be popping up everywhere, they even have land based casinos in Vegas taking bit coins at the gift shop at restaurants , but not yet for gambling although you can withdraw cash from the bitcoin atm and use that to gamble with

The Geneysys Group Now Accepting Bitcoin

I logged in to my Treasure Mile account tonight for the first time in a month or more. A big flash on the screen that they accept Bitcoin. I went to the cashier and the deposit option was enabled.

So Eagle Grand, Lucky Creek, Mandarin & Wizbet all take Bitcoin now. I have had a few decent runs in these casinos. I think their Video Poker options are among the best for Americans.

Circle webwallet payments

My first cash out from Circle back to my bank I chose the direct to bank method. There were no fees but it took 4 days. Request on Dec. 6th and funds into account on Dec. 10th.
Yesterday I tried the payment to the card. There was a small fee $2.00, but the funds were in my account this morning.

I'm not sure if there is an advantage of one over the other besides time and fees. I will probably use the bank direct for large amounts
( here's hoping for that :D) and the card for smaller amounts. Keep the bank from asking questions.

I just wanna say bitstarz uses some dodgy third party live casino software.

I tried the blackjack there last night and had a large bet out and the dealer hit me with an ace for my first card then stopped the dealing while the manager came over and said the hand was being canceled and bets refunded because she scanned the card twice over the card reader. Thats some bs. The thing is the dealer can see the card as she pulls it out before she scans so wouldn't be hard for her to make it scan twice and void the hand like what happened in my situation.

I wouldnt even done the blackjack but I dont really care for the slots on bitstarz not enough variety for US players although wish I could play the locked ones they look fun. Ive been having much better success on the bitcasino.io love the instant cashouts.

Did you try to contact bitstarz rep and ask about this?

Yeah the support took care of me and I made a small cashout and made my deposit back but I'm saying the 3rd party live casino software they use is dodgy and players should beware. Bitstarz itself seems a highly legit run place and maybe now they are aware they are using a shady site to provide their live games. Ive been gambling for 20 years and never have been playing and dealt an Ace in blackjack and the dealer says oops sorry you got a good card we gotta cancel the hand because the dealer screwed up.

Very fast cashout here as well under 5 minutes...hopefully they add some more variety to the slots in the future and I'll definitely consider them again. I'm just not a big fan of those betsoft slots.

how much times this happens to you? I bet once... Not good anyway, but you can't call software shady and beware to players, just from one issue.

ONCE is once more than something like that should happen when dealing live cards sir. A dealer starts to deal your hand and then takes back the cards and says the hand is canceled is shady business to me. Like I said, its the third party live casino software they use that pulled this stunt. Maybe if it happens to enough players and more complaints come in the casino will contract a more legit operation to handle their live deal games. Yes I'm telling players to beware because if they've done this once they've done it before and they'll do it again. I'm just reporting to other players how unethical this is in the game of cards.

I like betsoft slots but the payouts are VERY low, IMO. The SoftSwiss slots are going to become available from my understanding (I think the rep posted this earlier in the thread), which I'd look forward to.

Actually the Soft Swiss slots are already available at Bit Starz. There's Platinum Lightning and Book of Pyramids. Those are the only 2 titles I know for sure are from Soft Swiss. I"m sure there are a few more, I would just have to sniff them out.

My reaction from the Soft Swiss slots are that the design seems a bit dated to me honestly. Otherwise they pay out just like any other slot. Very far and few between, yet they seem to have some medium sized hit potential though.

Also in reaction the live dealer bit, I guess in the past 2 months I've been playing at these casinos. I've never experienced a voided hand. Yet I don't care for how lagging the feed is though. I would think eventually they'd have to upgrade to something way more faster and allows more traffic. Especially when it's peak time and the rooms have lots of people in them. The video feeds suffers greatly.

Sorry for the following list being out of order but here's what I have figured out are Soft Swiss slots at Bit Starz.

West Town
Lucky Ladys Cover
Princess Royal
Lucky Sweets
Cherry Fiesta
Sport Slot
Princess of Sky
Hawaii Cocktails
Desert Treasure
Lucky Blue
Aztec Magic
Scroll of Adventure

Those would be the one with the unique loading screen from the Bet Soft slots. Obviously the Microgaming slots are locked, so I have no idea what the load screen would be.

So if you wish to try something different from the standard slots available to us. Those would be the ones to try at Bit Starz. Some may find these fun. I guess I'm more of a sparkle and dazzle kind of guy. I like my slots to sing, dance, and do crazy things. Which is why I have always loved WMS slots.

Hi Cheetah, thanks for the list. How would you rank the volatility of these?

As far as dancing slots I like Aristocrat lately, they had a few nice new ones such as Walking Dead (this is at land based casino)

Seems like Circle does not really have much staff, tried calling today and recording said they are out til Jan 5

Made a deposit and only half my bitcoins were available immediately seems odd because my deposit was under $40

Did you exceed your limit on immediately available funds? They only allow me $100 per week. On the deposit screen it shows how much you have available.

Mine shows much more than $100 a week
Mine shows I have used 518 of my $2500 a week limit

I show 2 different limits.

For the credit/debit cards they post instantly and the limit is 100 per week.
For the direct bank transfer they are not instant and the limit is 2500.

It says the limits will go up over time once you have a history with them.

I have never tried the direct bank transfer to deposit so I don't know if they release all or some of the funds or how long it takes to post. At Coin Base it took 4 business days to post.

I'm amazed with the customer service at Bitcasino.io , If anyone has the pleasure to speak with Jane you will know what I'm talking about. She is as friendly as a agent you wll ever meet. Very down to Earth type person and we had a fun conversation for about 20 minutes one night and she makes you feel welcome at the casino and like a VIP. Artur was also nice when I first started playing there I had an initial bad run and asked if he could do anything for me and was able to add on the 100% first time deposit bonus amount after I already busted out. Very nice surprise. Since then I've made a few substantial withdrawls and up on the casino over 1.5btc and my favorite place to play online now. I find myself loving the huge variety of games they offer.

I will only play at bitcasiono.io if I know they are not using pirated software, its just not worth supporting them from what Bryan has posted here

Missing out, I've made 2 withdraws both paid lightning fast. Game selection blows anything else out of the water. I wouldn't keep a large balance on there though for obvious reasons.

Of course the game selection is great. They are using stolen software.

The only thing we are missing out on is helping a fraudulent business with stolen software continue to exist.

They are criminals. If they are willing to steal the software I'm sure they won't bat an eye to steal from you when the house of cards comes tumbling down.

I'm with you and agree completely the selection of games Bitcasino.io offers is far better than most other casinos. It's why I keep going back there time and time again. It's nice not having to worry about hefty deposit and withdrawl fees. Last night, I had my best run there I deposited .09 btc and made a withdrawl for 1.3btc a few hours later. Had some super wins on Greedy Goblins. Payout is usually instant but it did take about 15 minutes for the btc to hit my wallet but the support told me they keep a certain amount in cold storage and assured me my payout would be soon and sure enough as soon as I closed the live chat I got the beep notification from blockchain wallet that my coins arrived. I will say the only term I'm uncomfortable with however is if in the rare event a large sum of btc was won in this case 50btc they reserve the right to pay it out in 10 installments over 10 months. So really on a very large win the max payout is around 1,500/month and thats if bitcoin prices stay static. To me thats a real issue because the price can flucuate wildly and I hope I am never put in that situation. I'm happy enough doubling or tripling up my deposit and cashing out and starting over. Thats the freedom I love about the btc casinos is aren't forced to try and win a ton of money to justify high withdrawl fees most casinos have you can just walk even if you are a little ahead and call it quits for the night.

Come on lets be real, any casino doing business in the US are operating illegally and therefore criminals as you put it. If the casinos weren't criminals why do they mask the credit card charges from Shanghai or whatever as kids books or jewelery or whatever phony business they have set up to take the casinos credit card payments. At least with bitcoins I don't have to worry about the international charges or potentially having the credit card numbers misused later down the road by rogue processors. What software specifically is stolen? I'm sure bitcasino.io is licensed to run the Betsoft and PlaynGo games. As far as the Aristocrat slots I'm not sure I do know I emailed Aristocrat a while back to inquire and they never responded back to me. From what I can tell the payouts aren't being cheated , I've had much better bet multiplier wins on the Aristocrats at bitcasino than I have on the same land based versions. However, It does seem at times its really tough to get a bonus on them but they generally seem to pay decently when they do come unlike the casino where I often get really shitty low paying bonuses on the same games at the Indian Casinos.

1st of all I trust Bryan and when he says something is very wrong I belive him
2nd of all have a friend that works for Aristocrats but not in Australia but at Vegas Showroom, she says very likely the games are not licensed for US play
3rd of all using a processor that hides the name of the casino I see not really breaking the law more like flying under the radar

For now have had more luck at RTG slots so lets be friendly and agree to disagree

Good points John, I no doubt a few of their games are likely unlicensed but I enjoy them and don't feel I'm getting ripped off RTP wise, if I did I wouldn't be playing them. Your friend is probably right. It just comes down to this. We all play where we are most happy and right now at this time I like the bitcasino and they are friendly and pay very fast. I'm up a couple BTC there overal. I visit land casino often and I don't have to drive a hour to play the same games I can just play them online. Now if only these sites could get some WMS games I would never have to go back to land casino.
