Big Wins always occur when your bankroll near to zero!

Hey guys,

I'm not sure whether the slots are being programmed or RANDOM as it claimed to be, but out of my 10 big winning sessions, 8 of them had a big wins when my bankroll is near to zero.. for example: $0.30 or $1++ or $3++ depending on the bet size.

Any others experience that? This is sooooo fishy... they called it random but it is so fishhhyyy... :p

If anything it proves it is random, why would they give you a big win when near bust? surely it would be better just to bust you and not pay out anything :eek2:

I'm no conspiracy theorist but funnily enough I was having this exact same conversation with someone else the other day as I had been thinking the same thing for some time. There must be some sort of psychological reasoning behind it, as dionysus hints at, but I know exactly what the OP is getting at lol. It only seems to happen if you "flat-bet" at a given amount for a while to me (ie: 50 spins at 45c) but it seems one of the last 2 spins always throws something back at you from 5x upwards. If you up your bet, even for the last spin or two to finish the bankroll it doesn't seem to hit.

Like I say, I am inclined to think it is psychological but it is odd.

I imagine it's psychological because we're looking AT the few remaining spins; we don't scrutinize near as much if at other figures (let's say .45, 28.70, and 473.72). Were we to grab these (or any) random figures the way we look at the bottom ones as we near bust out, I'm sure we'd see as many 'big' hits at those three figures as the lowest one. We 'think' we hit the biggie as we near out (let's say 2 bucks) because we don't bother gauging the 24 bucks, 78 bucks, 142 buck marks)

.

I agree. Hit this yesterday almost going bust. A few spins before I had to lower my betsize to afford another spin

I don't believe that they are doing it, but the reason why they would do it is quite simple. They have to give out big wins (to meet RTP's and to keep their players) and the average player is far less likely to cashout on a $300 "big win" when he had $0.50 left than on the same $300 win when he had $200 left.

But think of all the bonus rounds and big hits you've had on the very first spin, or within the first 5 spins of play. That ALSO happens, and if the casino were rigging gameplay, it would be counter-intuitive to let players hit right when they sit down, since they are likely to place their biggest bets at the beginning of a session.

I'm with Simmo + co on this and think there is a bit of psychology at play.

It's like in poker... when you hear players say something like 'Damn... Pocket kings.. I ALWAYS bust on pocket kings!'. Anyone who spends any time near a poker table will eventually hear something similar. It's not that they're the most unlucky player in the world and someone else always gets the aces... it's just that out of the 1,000 hands they played that night, that one is a lot more likely to stick in their head.

By the same token... if you have £1,000 in your balance and win £50... you carry on spinning as it's not that big a deal.... but if you get down to your last penny... have not had a win in a while... and THEN hit the £50. Well that's the £50 you remember.

If you really want to test this theory just put away the tinfoil hat and ask or get your play logs from the casino . Pour through it with a calculator and lets have the stats. Bear i mind you may have more wins at low bankroll anyway... it is random after all.. but any major statistical anomaly should stick out.

I've been playing slots for more than 8 years and I've observed the pattern of slots paying out.
I'm sure you old timer guys have experience this before... Slots are like snake and ladder.

For example:
Your bankroll left $50.90
Then you spin and spin and left with $32.10
So you spin one more time and the amount goes back to $50.90
How possible can it be to ACCURATELY hit back to the same amount you get before, and I'm talking about different bet size but still end up the same repeating amount a few times!

It's definitely fishhhyyyy~. True right guys? :)

disclaimer :p i only dreamed this in my dream,

the online casino knows before you that your going to win and how much the impact of the win is a positive plus for relations so wins are timed to do just that:p

then i dreamed that the coin box or your balance plus your session time was being calculated to satisfy you for play time and close calls on hits like one off on the jackpot stuff :p

then i dreamed that the games aren't random that instead they were [fair] meaning that over a period of time you would hit and loose [of course you have to prove your self as a depositor first]

then i zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz what was i gonna say

loving all of you rocky catt

See... told you. Something is fishhhhyyyy. :x

Still not sure 'what' is fishy? Ok, so people have posted screenies that they hit when low. I could produce a hundred screenies where I hit when I was up.

Accredited casinos are monitored/tested for randomness. If you don't trust, say Mark of 32Red, or Enzo at 3Dice that their software isn't fixed and you don't really believe the results or trust the suggested casinos here aren't rigged, it's rather silly to play. Do I believe there ARE rigged casinos? Sure. But that's why I play at 'trusted' casinos.
