Two online players clash in a heads-up with $423 000 at the table

Major money that would not be out of place at the largest land poker tournaments was on the virtual table at Betfair Poker this week when two players with some of the biggest bankrolls in online poker decided to take each other on at $250/$500 no limit Holdem.

Making essential viewing for anyone interested in high-stakes poker, LoisLane and paoletto have been battling regularly in the Stockholm online poker room at Betfair Poker over the past few days. At one point on Wednesday the average pot size displayed in the lobby on Betfair Poker was $71 000.

The two players are some distance apart - Betfair Poker officials said that LoisLane is from Norway and that paoletto resides in Italy.

LoisLane is a high-stakes regular on Betfair Poker. He often sits at several tables and has been known to have half a million dollars in play at one time. Not afraid to re-buy into a heads-up game, pots in excess of $100 000 are a regular occurrence for this player who was once seen sitting alone in glory at the $250/$500 table, with $400 000 in front of him! One to avoid if you are not hitting the cards!

There is speculation on the Betfair forum that paoletto is in fact also sincero. Sincero is known for being a highly aggressive and increasingly accomplished high stakes Holdem player who has been involved in some of the largest pots ever seen on Betfair Poker.

The $207 000 pot won by Rosiepod against sincero was eclipsed Tuesday night when paoletto took down a $213 000 pot against LoisLane.

Many of the Betfair Poker regulars have added both paoletto and LoisLane to the find a player functionality on Betfair Poker allowing them to watch the biggest games online.

Shortly before they stopped playing there was $423 000 at the table. Paolettos comment in the chat box I cant play too much more, its quite stressful might be considered something of an understatement!
