also Paddy Power and the shite InTouch games if anyone is looking in

WTF am I getting 100's of email from one of your affiliates for? All to stolen email addresses in previous security breaches.

All spam should be opt in only now, so presumably you will be able to supply the proof of opt in if I give you the email addresses, seeing as any reputable casino pre-approves any mails going out?

https:// 123casinos . com/

BGO, PP, MrGreen no terms and conditions as required.

And heres a small selection of the emails I'm getting

2020-05-06 (7).png

That is just in the last 6 or 7 hours, I've already deleted over 150 from the past 2 days

The shite casinos who don't have reps will be getting informed by way of the ASA.

Please supply legitimate opt in from me for EACH email account they are using, my domain can be sent by PM if you want it. You have until Monday before I contact the ASA and make sure I don't get any more. Presumably you will close their account for this so they won't need to send more emails any :)

CasinoEuro is reviewed at Casinomeister. It has been listed as an Accredited casino for nearly ten years - barely any complaints.

WillHill bought MRG Group some time ago. You probably have an account at WH?

Don't know about BGO, but they bought Rolla (MT SecureTrade operated site) only to close it a few months later. Did you ever sign up at a MT site?

Data is exchanged in ways we cannot see or imagine.

It's not that, as I say, I've had around 150+ emails so far in 3 days, to different email addresses each time, which are historic from places that used a mailing list provider that was hacked, nothing to do with any casinos, so they are using stolen data. Another 5 came since I posted :(

Seems MrGreen aren't impressed with the amount of emails they are getting, they first replied asking for my account details, to which I replied no (my account is closed) as they don't need them to deal with a spamming affiliate. They replied:

'For security reasons we need to verify the customer first before we can address the concern. Also kindly refer to our terms and condition:
10.1.1 Spamming customer service (sending repeated copies of the same message) is not allowed.'

Part of my reply

'Kind of ironic that you start quoting terms and conditions to me about spamming, yet the reason you are getting so many emails from me, is that your affiliate is spamming me, all I am doing is auto forwarding them to you as they arrive.

I have had over 400 emails from him since the start of May.

So what you seem to be saying is that, your affiliates can spam as much as they like to get you new business, yet if an existing customer does it, then that’s not allowed.'

Thank you for getting in touch with us, however may we kindly ask as to why you have contacted us in regards to these emails, as they are not coming from us, but from 123casino.

Needless to say that solicited a nice reply from me :)

On the other hand, the group I fully expected to not respond at all, (mfortune) have replied properly and are taking action. So big thumb up to them for that.

Damn. Keep giving them their spam in return.

Infact Ill setup to autoforward every spammail i get.

Lets join the revolution guys
Does it have to be casino-related spam?
Or do you think they would be interested in hot singles in my area for example? :p

Eve is on personal leave at the moment, and will be back sometime soon.

I've notified her supervisor.

did you add me in your post by mistake ?
no?

Presumably his spamming campaign has been approved?

1.12. "Spam" means emails and messages that are sent by you, directly or indirectly, which: 1), contain false or misleading statements; 2), do not truthfully identify the source or the originating IP Address; or 3), do not contain an online and real time Remove option - for the avoidance of doubt, any affiliate who intends mailing for traffic must contact his EGO account manager within 7 days of opening an account to get our rules on mailers and to make sure he/she will be compliant in regulated markets. Failure to get approval for mailer traffic will result in getting your account blocked and any payments withheld.

@Krystal_EGO
Casinoeuro who's rep hasn't been seen since Jun 13, 2019 :eek2:
That was a dormant account - the current rep is the Betsson Rep:
Betsson-Group

BTW - what does Krystal have to do with the dormant Casino Euro account?

Nothing, I was listing 2 reps who were listed on the spammers site, I couldn't tag the casinoeuro one as he is dormant. I now see why Krystal was confused at the tag though, could have been formatted better as it could read I meant Krystal was the CasinoEuro rep, sorry about that.
I got the Casinoeuro rep from the review so might want to update that :)

Big thumbs up to @Krystal_EGO who straight away started contacting the affiliate to get this resolved as much as she could.

It is a daunting task - but that was fixed.

My go to page is the reps page here:
iGaming reps

I admit it could be a better system.

Yep, Krystal is an awesome rep. She has been with EGO for years, so that tells you something. :D

I didn't even know that page existed, know for future :) thanks
Yes, Krystal is excellent, I've praised her in previous threads, she doesn't post much but know she replies pretty much straight away and does help whenever she can :)

Hi @colinsunderland

We’ve been in touch with the affiliate and together we have conducted an investigation that has evidenced why you received the first contact and the follow up emails. We have requested the affiliate to reach out to you directly as we don’t intend to discuss specifics on an public forum, which we trust you’ll appreciate. Thanks

Hi @Karolina Filip

Thanks for taking the time to investigate, bit confused though. You cannot possibly have legitimate evidence of my opt in to his mailing list, as it doesn't exist. I know exactly where he got the email addresses, they were stolen in data breaches back in 2017.

As for him contacting me, well he didn't reply to my email 3 weeks ago, nor to the one yesterday so don't think that will happen.

You are welcome to PM me with the evidence as to why I had first contact from him, as I will be interested to see how good his forged opt in data is. Presumably you have seen dates, times, where, age verification and IP addresses for each email address he has evidence for?

Thanks :)

So some dodgy shit going on here.

Got an email from 123casinos (maybe or maybe not, more on that later) with a list of emails and IP addresses apparently used to opt in.

However, its fake. Looking up the IP addresses show multiple ISP's.
I am the ONLY person with access to the emails in question. All emails also should really be 'double opt in' and that means if you sign up on site, you get an email to confirm.
I do not have Sky, Virgin, Plusnet, Talktalk, BT (just from the first few IP addresses) all installed at home.
I also do not have access to sign up using IP addresses that are as yet unassigned and don't exist in the RIPE database, as they are in unallocated number ranges.

The list of email addresses and 'proof of opt in' are just text, like

123@mydomain.co.uk81.104.113.115
2020-01-01 22:57:39

It would take me 5 minutes to create a list like that. It isn't proof of opt in at all, and also doesn't state where the opt in was made.

Now the real weird thing. The email was titled re: casinomeister post
So is someone from the Atemi group reading this forum? Why not post on here if you are? I'll say hello to the spammers first, hello Richard and BGO ;).

Now, bear in mind 123casinos is the affiliate. They are the ones sending the emails

Here are some quotes from the email they sent me

As such, we launched an investigation into the affiliate in question
we would like to point out that the affiliate was able to produce
The reason for the multiple emails is down to the affiliate’s ESP
Regarding your concern about missing terms and conditions, we reviewed the landing page in question (123Casinos) and can confirm that it is fully compliant with all terms listed as per the latest guidance by the UKGC.

So apparently 123casinos launched an investigation into themselves.
They keep talking about the affiliate as if they are a third party
They reviewed their own landing page and confirmed it is compliant (the landing page they listed is not the one I posted on here, nor was that one compliant).

Either that or they forgot which email address they were sending from, they probably meant to send it from the @BGO.com one.

Oh, wait, now heres the good part.

Richard Skelhorn owns Atemi group who own 123casinos that are sending the emails.
I got the email a few hours after @Karolina Filip (the BGO rep) replied to this thread.
The email is written as if it is from a casino who has looked into my claims, rather than 123casinos themselves.
Guess who the co-founder of BGO is? Oh yes, Richard Skelhorn.

Upper Mgmt.:Mr. Mark Everett, Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Paul Fitchford, Operations Manager
Mr. Alex Hold, Co-Founder
Mr. Richard Skelhorn, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

So that pretty much confirms the spammers have a direct connection to BGO entertainment.

Heres a screenshot of part of the email, does anyone think this sounds like it is coming from the affiliate, or from a casino defending the affiliate?

And just a little more recent proof of the link between the companies.

On the other hand, Richard Skelhorn, founder of operator BGO and affiliate Atemi, claims BGO has seen only an 8% growth in revenue and 4% growth in deposits. This increase is far from a "boom", he says.

“[BGO] is fortunate not to be reliant on a sports betting channel and so is net benefiting from the ‘lockdown’, but no more than it would if it had rained frequently in March and we had one or two high-margin days,” Skelhorn wrote in a blog post.

I can certainly understand why Karolina didn't want to discuss specifics now.
