I registered a couple of weeks ago but couldnt deposit, so still waiting for new payment options. BUT, i received a couple of freespins in that time and after the last post here i checked my account and saw that the WR for all the wins are still in my account. But i have no money left. So i think if im going to deposit when other methods are available, these WR will be still there. :what:

If Players balance reaches £0.20 (20p) or less whilst a bonus is active on the account and a subsequent deposit is made, all wagering conditions will be deemed complete and any restrictions related to any active bonuses removed from the account. Player should assume that the wagering conditions for any bonus awarded, unless otherwise stated, follow these principles:
[/I][/INDENT][/B]

This right here is the term.

For example. A couple months ago I deposited $100 and got the 250% bonus. I lost it all with very bad luck so i havent returned.

Last night I got an email saying I have 100 free spins and they need to be wagered 5x (only 25% contributes from slots) so the roll over is like 20x the free spin amount.

I got the free spins, won $66 on them and have been going up and down. So I asked support what is left. And they have directed me to this term and told me even though my account went down to zero for my welcome bonus, I am still inclined to fulfill it because I havent deposited since. Therefore, I have to wager my entire welcome bonus and all my free spin winnings 20x

Yeah I checked my account too and it lists the two promotions I have participated in as being active bonuses even though I busted out. I am wondering if this is just an error cause if wagering carries over then that would suck.

It's a bank holiday in UK today so I am sure Paul will address all our concerns tomorrow.

Edit: When I do manage to make my first deposit these wagering better not roll over. Also how on earth could I have 250 left to wager on the 5 boss bonus. Since I played and lost it I would have at least 5 wagered on it?

I understood it to mean that if you play with a bonus and bust out the wagering doesn't carry over to your next deposit:confused:

You will need to wager both those amounts. Outrageous.

It says "and a subsequent deposit is made"

meaning, not only do you have to go down to zero. You also have to re-deposit in order to get rid of wagering from previous bonuses. Support has made it very clear the one and only way to make the wagering disappear is to deposit again.

I read it the same way as you did though.

As Im sure most can agree this is incredibly ridiculous and beyond unfair.

Im probably going to stop playing for right now because I have a feeling Paul will change this once he sees how absurd it is. This entire time and hours ive been playing have only been counted against my 250% first deposit bonus.

If this isnt changed, I would be speechless.

Especially for those of us who can't deposit yet. So if you have to deposit in order to clear wagering on a free bonus they should state that a bit more clearly. I do recall Paul saying they are rewriting their t&c's to make them easier to understand; so hopefully that will be soon.

I do think it is not fair to carry over wagering on a deposit bonus to a no deposit bonus if you fail to meet wagering. I can understand if it was a free chip and then another one.

The thing that really got me too is when support said "all you had to do was make a small deposit and it would have cleared but now its too late since you started playing a new bonus"

How they can even think making people clear two separate bonuses is practical, blows me away.

Who gives someone 100 free spins for a promotion and then tells them "oh sorry you need to wager $7,000 because you havent deposited in 2 months"?:confused::confused:

Do they think people will appreciate having to wager 99x their free spin play? I bet there are a lot of pissed off people

BGO Experience

I signed up here a few days ago and I'm not one for normally trying these new/ish casino's but I caved in and went for it. Verne Troyer's face on the casino website sealed it for me! Lately I found myself moving away from the Micro-Gaming platform which I never thought I would do, but the software here -NetEnt- provides players with a much more level of playing time than MG does. Meaning deposits last longer which is always good.

The first thing I did was jump on chat to quiz the support on the withdrawal process and a couple of other questions. All of which were answered clearly and in a timely manor. For me a good casino can be judged on the speed and ease of withdrawing funds, this was my primary concern if I was to play here often. First impressions are that I liked the layout of the site and the games are quite good too. I was sceptical about the free spins offer but I had them added as stated upon sign up and even made £30 from the 20 free spins. Which I cashed out, despite having in mind the 72 hour withdrawal time which somewhat I do not like. However despite this after questioning the rep on here about withdrawals and verifications- Paul kindly speeded this up.

All in all I must say my experience here has been a very positive one, no issues from start to finish. The promotions are interesting and I like the whole concept of "beat the boss" which the site uses as it's niche. Support although they only work basically office hours were prompt and precise and on the whole I will be using this casino more over the coming months.

I think BGO needs to rethink this. If you bust out on a deposit bonus then the wagering shouldn't carry over PERIOD.
If you bust out on a freebie and don't make a fresh deposit then I think it would be okay to carry over the wagering from the freebie to the next freebie. Or just have a rule that you can't have two freebies in a row without making a real cash deposit in between. Lets see what Paul says tomorrow. He is reasonable and listens to the players (or those of us who are waiting to be players:D)

Glad you had a good experience Shane. As far as I can tell BGO is a good casino with a great rep. It just has a few issues it needs to iron out IMHO. Once it gets the new payment options online I am sure BGO will have more players.

Exactly. It doesnt even make sense. Every casino ive ever played out, kill the bonus when you get low enough.

So say someone gets $1000 welcome bonus. Loses it and get free 20 free spins 3 months later. They should have to wager $20,000 with a $10 bankroll?

lol

Hi Osulle,

Yes I definitely get what you mean. Apologies if it appears I posted that in response to your concerns, I planned to add my experience the other day when I seen the thread, meaning I didn't even read what others had said before hand. That said I also noticed the same bonus chart in my account section the other day and did think then that it would absolutely uncool if they didn't disappear upon depositing again. It will be interesting to see what Paul says about it.

On the payment options, I only normally use PayPal and Visa mainly! I'm chuffed with them options but I can definitely see that there is limited payment methods available which to me would mean less players using the site, so yes they deffo need more payment options. I also think the support needs to become 24/7 because players would (well I would) just play where they know they would get instant support!

All in all though it has potential to be a great casino and hopefully they will stay on track to become fully accredited eventually! :)

Well this thread is for posting experiences. So no apology needed.:p I am glad you had a good experience. I am waiting to experience mine since I have been having trouble depositing there and was waiting for Neteller. I know they take Paypal but somebody said it was for UK only and I am not in UK so I am waiting for paul to tell me if I can deposit via Paypal so I can play there tomorrow :)

I think BGO will become accredited as it is a good casino. I just hope they put the kibosh on the carry over wagering.

Cheers:thumbsup:

My wagering didnt carry over from my first deposit bonus, I didnt wager much either due to the worst session I have ever had on TS2, they even gave me another free tenner because of it.
Got 50 free spins last week and only had to wager the winnings from the free spins 20 times, no previous wagering showed at all

That pisses me off to hear this.

This better not have been some incompetent support guy.

I went back and spoke to him and he re-assured me completely, that the term is proper and will be held. So I continued playing trying to get past that outrageous wagering fee with my $66. I got up to $400 and lost it all try to get there. I know for a fact I would have won at least $200 bucks if it wasnt for this god awful, pathetic term.

You know whats really disgusting? There is still at least $1000 that needs to be wagered. I havent done the entire math of it all but Im guessing I wagered about $4000.

$66 and $5000 in wagering. The wagering equals out to be 89x the free spin win.

Thats crossing some lines. Very unethical. Especially for a depositing player.

Hey all,

Sorry for the slow response, bank holiday weekend meant I managed to get away for a few days!

Few concerns raised lately, especially with the bonus. The simple answer is that it's not right and it's being fixed. The bonus system was never designed to handle wagering requirements as Bingo players typically forfeit their bonus on withdrawal. We have manipulated it to the point where it can handle Casino/Slots wagering in the same way as everyone else but only triggers a clear down on deposit, hence the way it works. Wagering absolutely should not be carried over if the bonus has been lost and you are a funded player - lockinlove, gimme your username and I'll check your situation. If this is the case, you'll be refunded your £66 and I'll remove the WR.

It's easy for me to say all of this but the support guys have to follow a process. It's a tough job, especially when I come in and contradict their decisions but I have all of the facts and they don't, so I do make sure they ask questions if they're ever unsure of something. They do a great job but everyone makes mistakes, we just have to make sure we rectify those mistakes properly when they do happen.

Neteller & Skrill - I can only apologise again for the wait. We just passed an Alderney inspection and didn't want to be releasing new code whilst they were here. The system is in place but still going through QA. If there is one part of the product we absolutely have to get right it is payment, so I'm afraid not even I can put a 'rush' on this, as rushing inevitably leads to problems. More excuses I know but they are genuine, sensible decisions that we are making.

Cheers
Paul

Thank you Paul. I knew you would have all the answers:) So is Paypal option for UK players only? I have just opened a Paypal account and would like to try and deposit this way today.:D

How come the WR calculations work for some but not for all.
By clicking on my wallet, i could keep track of my remaining WR all the time.
It was a bit strange how all WR wasnt in one section and each winning spin from the free spins had its own WR

lol ugh .

Support had it wrong I guess. Instead of trusting that guy, I guess I should have waited for Paul.

I honestly believe my account should be reset to where I met the actual wagering as my losses were phantom losses.

Thanks paul for rectifying this and your friendly email and offer to restore the $66.

My concern is for the players who dont know about this website. I was told very clearly by support, its a term and no can do. How many other players lost all their money because of it?

Okay so today I was finally able to deposit via Paypal so its available to customers in Ireland as well as the UK. I got the welcome bonus and a little extra since I had so much trouble with my credit card a couple of weeks ago.

Anyway I ended up busting out 25% through wagering but that is par for the course for me lately. I can't hit the side of a barn with a bus anywhere.
The games played well without any lag times which I liked. I even gave some IGT games (Pixies of the Forest, Kitty Glitter and Siberian Storm) a try, I don't know why because really IGT games have never been lucky for me. Did about 110 spins on Faliens (AKA Aliens) and didn't even get to one bonus round. Still I enjoyed the session and will be back.

Thanks to Paul for sorting everything out for me. BGO gets thumbs up from me:thumbsup:

It looks like we have another good casino on our hands.

The way Paul has handled this issue speaks volumes.

Via PM I have sent Paul a couple messages about the "errors" and asked that my balance be replaced to what it was at the time of wagering completed.

It was approx 110 and thats where Paul is going to put it back too.

A lot of casinos would probably say too bad here's $10 and a few free spins.

He or "they" went above and beyond in this instance IMO. And its not because they gave me the 110. if they gave me the 66 as planned I would have been OK with it. But going all out is great to see. Im glad some casinos still show they appreciate the players.

@Boulder - you can withdraw via UKash too :) We send you a code which you can cash in, same as you'd buy a voucher to use with us.

@lockinlove - Glad to hear you're happy with the resolution. Whilst the support guys didn't technically do anything wrong, there are always circumstances that warrant a closer look and this was one of them. Nothing that can't be fixed though!

Hi Paul,

Another problem here.

I was about to go and play with some of my 110 and noticed I had the daily 5 free spins. So I played them and won 17.33. I went to see if I could withdrawal still and now its locked all my funds again.

It looks as though your system takes my withdrawable funds and locks it into this other bonus too. And not just the 17.33 that i won. I now have over 300 to wager.

I should not have to use my own personal funds that were withdrawable now locked and forced to wager all my money

My account should read read as "110 withdrawable and 17.33 held due to bonus roll over"

Support is not understanding that my own personal money that had no wagering should not have to be wagered for something completely unrelated.

busy old paul (less of the old) I was just about to deposit but the terms still bugging me, is it an auto bonus? and are you locked in to um? my user name is same as here

Thats the beef with bingo sites and do not like it, maytbe just a hicth, I play a few bingo sites where nothing holding you on, you win you take out, you will lose bonus but thats only bingo bonus, No big deal there, but when they lock you in?
I no you said you won on free spins maybe you should of withdrawn b4 you used them, but again you mentioned nothing should be locked in? The bonus structure is not simple especially if when speaking to some1 has not a clue from help

This term must be removed. You cant take someones own personal money and make them use it all to try and meet wagering for an unrelated 5 free spin bonus. That doesnt even make sense.

The money you win from the bonus needs to be wagered. Not my money along with it. Which is what support is trying to make me do

*Any withdrawal request made whilst a bonus is active on the account will be refused, until such a time that any wagering conditions have been met.

So basically say I deposit $400. I get 5 free spins that is completely unrelated to my deposit and win $25. I should have to wager the $25 from my bonus win the 5x required. In no way shape or form should I be required to use the money I deposited to wager this before being able to cash out. JonF is trying to tell me if I lose that $25 that I won. I would now need to dip into my own money to try and remove the wagering in order to withdraw.

Even though its obviously a term that is incredibly flawed, I requested that the bonus just be removed. JonF outright refused and told me basically "you now need to meet all the wagering before your account can be withdrawable at all"

He even stated "before you did your 5 free spins you should have withdrawn the 110. That would have been fine. But now that you won off them you cannot withdraw anything until all wagering is met"

sigh

Hey lockin,

Ok on this one I don't see too much of an issue, maybe I'm being stupid? You can absolutely have the bonus removed but I can't simply remove the wagering requirement, let you withdraw and then replace the bonus. Yes you could argue you could have withdrawn prior to playing but if I saw anyone doing that, I'd have to consider removing the bonus eligibility from that player. Bonuses have to work both ways. We're very generous with the offers and 99% of players take them in good faith. If we saw everyone withdrawing for the sake of 5 free spins then the offer wouldn't last very long!

I'd be happy to remove the bonus if you'd like me to but I can't replace it after removing it.

Thanks
Paul

Hiya Paul,

Thanks for getting back to me. I understand you cant do all that. I will have to suffer the loss for now but IMO that term needs to be removed.

Like you understand what Im saying right?

I have my own money sitting there, no wagering. Just mine.

I win something off of some other promotion. I understand I will need to wager that. but why on earth would I have to use my own money to wager it too? That really makes no sense. My money is my money and should never ever be restricted for something completely unrelated. I doubt you can find a single person who would risk $400 of their own to try and clear a $25 free spin win from something unrelated to their deposit.

Yes please remove the bonus amount I just won today if nothing can be done about it. Im not trying to free roll you guys because this has to do with freebies (However I have lost $100 in your casino :) so i think we are ok) Im just telling you how this term should never exist like that.

I also understand that things need to work both ways here. People playing slots with their own money is a huge enough risk. 97% of the time the person is going to be a loser. Thats how I see it anyways.

I figured my 5 free spins were just some sort of promotion for being a depositing player. Not that I would be tied down to it.

I hope you dont mind me addressing this part of your PM here. I think its better than jumping back and forth and would allow other players to chime in if they wanted.

paul@bgo said:
if you claim a bonus, regardless of your balance we won't allow any withdrawals, unless you opt to forfeit the bonus and winnings. This is exactly the same as any other operator. We wouldn't be in business very long if we allowed people to withdraw their own money and only play with ours!

Thanks
Paul

In the casinos I play in this is different. If I have a balance and all of the sudden I get a promotion, I never have my entire balance on hold and forced to risk it. Just whatever the promotion amount that was won.

You also state you wont be in business very long if you allowed people to just play with 5 free spins all the time. Arent the 5 free spins just given to depositing players? I figure it to be a promotion to keep depositing players in the casino, thanking your depositing players etc.

You also give the 5 free spins regardless if a player has a balance or not so it doesnt seem to be breaking your guys back at all. Assuming Im correct and that this promotion is for depositing players, isnt that enough? We all know most players lose. And very rarely will anyone win anything off those free spins. I know ive done the promotion probably 10 times (altho 10 times isnt very much) and never come close to a cashout.

Im sure you can also see on my account, i dont take advantage of your free spin as often as I could. Ive done it 10 times total and probably could have done it 90 times. Not that it really matters, I just dont want to come across like Im some bonus whore

I also dont want to come across as a cry baby because this 110 I won was from a 100 free spin promotion you gave me. I just dont think the term is fair.

To me thats bang outa order, so if you withdraw and take bonus you can have money taken of u, OR you can take bonus as long as you got cash in there? but than got wAager requments,
Please let me no if I am wrong but I thought bonus was a bonus, Just because you withdraw your cash before taking spins does not mean your playing the ststem, Its using your sense, As said b4 these rules are stupid and most bingo sites put these on,
(other thread) But honestly paul if you want to class your self as a casino than I would think of them rules,
I no personal that bingo rules are way different than casino rules but the way I read the other week your trying the best to accomidate this, Which is more than fair, But if I deposit 50 notes and you give me 20 spins free and I withdraw the the money first b4 spins and I had my withdraw refussed because i took out a 50
I can swear I will come looking
I might be wrong, But I no this rule hense why I said take out b4 play spins but if you put that clause in it than its not worth the paper or ink push its write on,

lockinlove, I no theres alwalys a claws in the paws, I thought paul was sorting this, its bang out of order if you put in a few deposits than some 1 says heres a few spins free, but do not tell you that your origanal balnce is held on to it, I am wise to this hense the reason I said in my last statment take out thje money first, than if you win your withdraw is safe, But as Paul said him self it this happens he will bar people? your wins are your wins, if tjey wish to give you free plays than thats fair paly due not hold on to your own cash as thats robbery and aginst the law, But we all no that there is not much law at the minute,

I knew from day 1 that I not deposit there, I thought hard and low why, & I canot think or pul up any info but as soon as they turn to bgo from (xbingo) I knew somhing wasnt palying rite,

sorry about spelling

hmmm cant see the problem here its a bit blown up , if you deposit 100 quid play with your 100 quid win withdraw it , lose then your free to use the free spins as backup , money youve deposited are not tied in until you use those free spins ,if its there in the terms then that's fine . many casinos offer free spins on a deposit your also tied into these not difference at all

i can understand it could be frustrating but if someone had read the rules properly then you wouldn't get this kind of thing, many casino offer deposit today get 50 free spins tomorrow wagering free , maybe BGO needs to travel down this line .

its pretty much down to the player to check also if in doubt dont play speak with CS first get it cleared up .

This has nothing to do with what we are talking about

They give you a chance to spin a wheel if you're a depositing a player almost every day. You can win nothing, 5 free spins, 10 free spins and the very odd time hit 20 free spins.

However, at the time you do your daily spins. If you have deposited that day then all of the sudden that money you deposited now requires wagering of whatever you won on the wheel.

If you didnt deposit, then you just wager the bonus money.

Again, I dont want to deposit $400 (No bonus applied) planning to have some fun. Maybe win $80 and cash out or lose $80 and feel unlucky and cashout. Not deposit $400 play a bit, go and spin your daily free spins, win $20 and now all of the sudden I have to wager $400 before I can cash out again.

What happens if I go on a really cold run and lose $300 of my deposit because I am forced to clear $400 of wagering from a $20 daily free spin win.

Now that daily spin feature is completely moot for me. Since I can get in trouble for cashing out first, why on earth would I bother risking issues when 99.9% of the time you wont win anything on those free spins anyways. And if im going to be tied in like that?

Its a terrible term and if the casino expects you to suck it up and lose $400 because they give 5 free spins a day....Take it away for all I care.

I think this is a good casino, they just need fix some of these odd terms that cause nothing but issues.

I know for a fact every single player would be pissed off if they won $20 on a free spin. Deposited $400. And that $400 is stuck until they wager $400.

ok then thats fair enough but nobody is making you play the wheel game , you can just play without using this feature , im not sure of there terms as i do not play there ,but once they have neteller i shall go & give them a bash ,my first port of call will be to check all there T&Cs

i just cant understand to why if you have made a deposit with or without a bonus you would use this to try & get free spins , surely it would be better to take deposit bonus or straight deposit & use this feature when youve won or lost or after youve made a withdrawal

if youve made a deposit & lost ,im taking it you can use the wheel thingy to see wether you get free spins >? if so if you win any money on those free spins im taking it theres a 30X wagering or something >?

why if you made a deposit that day & won ,would you need to use this feature > ?

When a casino offers you free spins, who do you know declines them regardless if winning or losing? When you log in, you get a notification you have free spins. that notification stays there until you click on it. Not only do I have a right to those free spins as a depositing player, I didnt want to stare at it so I figured Id do it

Also, When I read the terms I figured it meant "No cashout can be make until the wagering of bonus funds/wins is made" like every other casino does.

Not "you cannot make a cashout of your own personal funds until you wager a completely separate promotion entirely by using your own personal funds"

Nobody should have to be locked into wagering of something that has nothing to do with your initial deposit.

yes any wins you have on the bonus wheel you have to wager 20x.

Im not going to say anything else about this. Ive said my opinion. I dont like it.

I dont want to continue because its getting to that point where i feel I'm almost bashing the casino

This casino gave me the chance to win money with no risk after not depositing for a couple months. I won 110 ($202 in Canadian money) which is awesome. Paul also was very helpful and considerate so huge props for all of that.

Its a clase to lock in you cash, Its as bad as depositing and geting a a %5 bonus, As you took the bonus now you have wager on your deposit as well, Like other casino there should be no wager on spins other wise there not bloody free, Its like saying here yoi have a free umbrella and its pissing down of rain but if you use it you have to pay for it than its 100x more than they normally cost,

Think this is getting a bit out of hand. It's a simple rule - if you claim a bonus, you can't withdraw until the wagering has been satisfied. It's a crappy rule yes, but it's how the system works. Can it be improved? Absolutely, and it will be when we build the new bonus platform, but sadly it's what we have to work with at this moment in time.

Like I said, you can always forfeit the bonus and withdraw just like any other operator would allow you to do. There are ways to take advantage of the free spins and I gave one example. It's not the only flaw but it is again something that we have to deal with.

Feedback is good and I take everything on board, but I don't believe the rule is predatory. It's there in black and white for all to see and we don't hide anything.

Cheers

jungle trouble slot did not work only for me? Second day in a raw i get 5 freespins on it, but it is simple does not open. Loading screen goes till the end, and then nothing.

Looks like my $200 cashout was processed on Saturday. Will report back when it arrives.

Thanks BGO for the free 100 spins that led to this nice little win

I went clothes shopping and spent $400 so this will help cover half of it.

I bought ONE pair of lululemon yoga pants because they are comfy when Im at the gym. They cost $91....for pants that end at my shins. I guess im a sucker :(

Hi,

Deposited with bonus and won a bit, did withdraw to card with no issues, money hit bank account today after processing on the 10th.
Enjoyed the games and had no problems playing except the free spins on Jungle trouble which always run super slow, but get there in the end!

I like the free spin and the challenges, however while I was running through my original wr I completed a challenge (I didn't know about at the time)
which added £15 cash to my account and upped my wr without me realizing until I checked what had happened, no biggie but I had to play for longer when I thought I had finished.

My only other slight issue might be with the free spins on starburst, aas the wr seems to stick to the account even when the bonus is long gone?
I know have about £60 worth of wagering stuck to the account which has built up and pressumably will be there if I redeposit.
I've not seen this before as most of the sites i've played on the wr from the free spins ends when you bust?
