Betspin - Accredited Casino

Hi Phil,

you are offering now AUD as i can read from your post, that is great. Is there any chance you can change my account from EUR to AUD.

That is the main reason i have deposited so little lately at Betspin. 100$ cost me 2800THB and 100 EUR = 3800THB. Hence i deposited mainly at VS, CasinoLuck, Next, Thrills and Bet-At lately as i can play there in AUD.

Thanks KasinoKing. We've actually been aware of this problem for more than 2 weeks and are really close to rolling out our new chat facility. Our guys have been working on it for the past few weeks now. We just need to understand why snotter999 is encountering problems considering he doesn't actually have a low screen resolution. I'm sure you will find our new live chat much better in general. :)

All I can ask for at this moment is your patience whilst we apply some final touches and fully test before we put live.

It looks like this may be a problem with the OS as you have mentioned but before I speculate any further and shoot myself in the foot again, I will let our tech guys investigate and pinpoint.
Either way we appreciate that we need the new chat facility ASAP for you guys. There is no point us having 24/7 live chat available if you guys can't speak to our team. :(

It could well be all Microsoft's fault - yes! :mad:

Doesn't effect your casino - but on Download MG casinos I can't get ANY sounds on most slots which are over 2 years old.
My fault for having a new-ish (< 2 years old) HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 8.1... :eek2:
Have reported this to several casinos, but to date MG have not come up with a way for players to fully enjoy their games on this particular combination of machine + OS.
I suppose it's the same as trying to convince NetEnt that there really is a glitch on one of their slots... :p

I use a 6 month old Asus S550C Intel I5 win 8.1 touchscreen
Have no issues at all with anything except Betspins chat window!
Have half a dozen MG download casinos and they all work fine, even all the old games KK
Prefer the casinos with multiple game suppliers for the variety!:)
 
OK guys our tech team have just done an upgrade to the chat tool.

If anything it's actually WORSE now:- because the text now appears in "speech bubbles" and the chat window itself seems to be the same size as it was before - I can actually see LESS of the writing than I did before!

One more question please Phil.

Are you planning to add Ecopayz any time soon as deposit and withdrawal option?

Reason i am asking is that due to the high currency conversion fees on Neteller it cost me about 5% more to deposit 100$ than with Ecopayz. Doesn't sound like much but i deposit about 100K per year and 5% of that is 5K, quite a chunk of extra money Neteller is taking from me just to deposit.

We have added Ecopayz but I am afraid that it is only available for Canadians at this moment in time.
That being said we might make it available for other markets at some point in the future. So if the situation changes I will be sure to let you know.

Sooner everyone gets that done the better!
I quite like the site and have had a withdrawal (thank you BSpin) which was no probs!
They having issues with chat window but are working on it and i think they are top notch and trying to keep us happy.
Stick with them mate.
Have any issues just ask Phil as he will try his best to keep us all happy.

I have to disagree. Firstly, I sent in all my requested ID photos.

I logged in to find that my "proof of address" had been rejected.

Proof of address being a water bill - pretty fundamental utility bill I'm sure you'll all agree.

Anyhow, I send in an email asking WHY it's been rejected.

Linette from support tells me there's been a mistake. Fair enough - I concur.

Anyway, 2 days later, I notice the withdrawal request is still "awaiting approval", and in the "my account" section, there's a "payment method" request for verification now mysteriously awaiting "approval" dated 1/1/1970. Now, this is obviously a software glitch of some sort... I'm in the IT trade myself, so no biggie....

I contact support today, and I'm told by some CS droid named Irene, that my withdrawal can't be completed because I haven't sent in all my requested documents!!

To me, this is straight-Up ROGUE behaviour.

What the heck is going on here at BetSpin? Or CM, for that matter?? I chose to deposit at Betspin based on the strength of the accreditation it got at CM, likewise
at Thrills Casino (maybe another story for another day but I digress!) .... anyway, I'd say to anyone looking for somewhere to deposit, AVOID BetSpin BIG TIME. :(

I agree with Gemma here,

I always found them to be some of / If not the best out there, Did you ask CS out straight what they need? Normally they can sort it out there and than, I am not saying you done any think wrong as every one has there own opinion and some of us do feel we have been done over once in a while,

I am sure its a minor glitch on there part and CS should of let you no what is needed, Hopefully Pill can jump to the rescue

Please do not be rude to me or I report you . Its clear there a error why don't you contact the rep first before having a go at cs members and get the correct information on your account . I was trying to help you to say contact the rep and bet spins in my experience are good and fair .Bringing into if I English is a bit odd thing to say . The casino is fairly new and has errors from time to time most do .In your case contact the rep his the best person to help you .

The rep here is also very active and you can try him via pm if you have a problem not sorted immediately by customer support. Had you politely done that I am sure your problem would have been sorted near immediately. Gemma's reply was right on the ball as well.

Magnus from Betspin is supposedly sorting this issue out. If he manages to unravel the mess I shall thank him and give credit where credit is due.

To his credit, he's already conceded to me that mistakes have been made on the part of BetSpin.

Unfortunately due to time constraints I missed out on messaging Phil, but hopefully Magnus can sort it out.

I completely agree. Have already fed back to Phil how she always seems to go the extra mile. To be fair, all their CS that i've dealt with have been exemplary. The poster in my view seems to have gone in looking for trouble. KYC?! "How very dare they". There's always one who not only feels the need to moan but also name people from support in their rant. That for me is unacceptable. By all means, be unreasonable and spout off but you shouldn't name people on forums like this.

Moving on to the KYC thing, mine were approved within minutes and without issue.

You are within your rights to be critical and stick up for yourself. So I would say it would be churlish to quit the forum over a few people not sharing your opinion. That's life, many people disagree with a lot of what I say but i don't let it worry me.

You've shared your views, others have shared theirs. Others who read the comments will decide for themselves.

We ironed out the misunderstandings and exchanged views on how BetSpin could maybe take steps to make sure such ambiguities don't arise in the future to create the same problems again.

So thanks to Magnus for that. Phil I'm sorry I didn't get to message you but the time difference beat me every time!

Lessons learned from this episode? Some people need to develop a thicker skin.

Some people - self included - should maybe learn to not be so impetuous/cynical.

Hopefully we can all learn *something*.

I cant join, my attempts via mailing Phil have been fruitless, I self excluded from Guts as I was unhappy with the service I received, and rather than bitch about it, I decided not to play there, but they won't reverse the decision, and Betspin doesn't allow excluded users of Guts to join, so till September 2017 I'll read about them :)

Just a quick note re Betspin.

As many will recall I closed my account around the time Phil left.

Heard no more from them until today when I started getting emails for their promos. Sent a reply asking why I'd started getting these 12 hours ago, no reply.

At the very least a courteous reply apologising for sending the emails would have been expected.

Very, very disappointed with them in the latter part of 2015. Do hope Phil returns elsewhere in the industry in due course and, for Betspin I hope they have a resurgence in 2016.

I note their presence here has evaporated and there seems to be very little mention of them around these parts.

I'd like to see them become a success and return to the mindset the had earlier this year. It's a great team who had the right ideas.

Mentioned their 'slide' numerous times and I too have noticed the sudden reappearance of e-mails this last week or so, after nothing for weeks and weeks!

Phil was bang on in all departments and I do wonder (not worry!) why he decided to move and and the coincidence in their apparent lack of interest and motivation.

As I mentioned in the 'its that time of year' (CM Awards) thread, the Best BBF by a mile I have ever read and then from red hot to ice cold.

Nominated for the 'Fall from Grace' award!

Thing is Paul, I agree with everything you've written but I'm not just referring to rep activity although I have to note just how active they were earlier in the year relative to now, not just answering queries but with special promos and other interaction on the forum.

I'm referring to the wider context - the lack of discussion about them, not seeing any minion data recently - have a look at their page, only two since August but loads each month before that.

I'm not suggesting it means anything beyond the fact that they just don't seem to have kept up the momentum here. I think Phil was a strong driving force behind establishing the brand and I dare say any casino would be lucky to bring him on board in the future.

Had a quick look at Askgamblers and same lack of activity is apparent there too.
