I have often wondered how often people have mistakenly pressed the wrong buttons and ended up betting and winning much more than they expected to.

I thought if it ever actually happens to me then I will write a post and ask the question here.

I am not going to name either the game or the casino because I do not trust them and would not put it past them to reverse the winning based on my intention - funny how I suspect you would not get far if you contacted them about a high bet, you would be laughed at.

Anyway my big danger is the stupid coin selection on some game types. So I think the casinos actively attempt to make it difficult to work out what amount you are betting.

I had one just before that said 80 on the amount I was betting & I thought I was betting 80 cents when all of a sudden 4 horses came up giving me free spins with multipliers - so I ended up with 20 spins at 11x multiplier.

It is doing its thing and I am having a reasonable time of it, nothing out of this world when I notice that under the win amount is $450 which was very odd because the wins certainly were not high enough to warrant that number.

Took it that I had just somehow mis read it and will see what happens when the game finishes, I then notice the bet amount is $9

Happy days, end up with around $500.

Have others had similar experiences and what was the result of the mr mgoo moment?

Never actually had a winning spin on accidental high bet tho i know others on here have had good wins.

Always try to watch what i am betting. Learnt my lesson many years back on Cryptologic games i think. Used to spin at 30p or whatever. Re deposit and hit spin forgetting the damn games would not be on last spin amount and would spin at highest they could from your balance. Made that mistake a few times.

Only time i ever won quite big of a mistake was on sports. Pissing about on mobile trying to get an in play bet on goals in certain matches and kept not letting bet on. In end instead of a fiver bet the bet went through as £50.

Was pissed of and was like i'm a stupid fool. Anyway the bet won so got about £800 back instead of £80.

Got my coin values confused and default bet size was set to £25 for some inexplicable reason. Three spins later I hit the three lions for the free spins bonus and got around 4.8K.

Alas this story has no happy ending. Using my newly acquired elite slot playing skills I proceeded to lose around 4.9K over the next few hours playing high stakes. Those memories don't fade quite as easily.

Does it count as tilting when you usually play 10 tot 40 cent bets and then go chasing at 1 euro bets? Otherwise I haven't either... Weirdly I have hit quite some +500x on those tiny betsizes but on "higher" ones I have never even come close to that

Well this wasn't accidental but more out of frustation at WR so high. I m a low roller so never bet over 60p. I joined boyle casino n deposited 33 with 200% bonus, went up and down at 50p bets on playtech. at 100 checked the wagering n still had lke 400 left so started doing 1.5 bets on their incredible hulk slot. Ended up getting the 3 wilds in fs when my balance was 30 quid. Won 1350, carried on and had a few wins on great blue at 1.5 as well. Ended up withdrawing 2.6k.
Another time was this website (can't remember name as never deposited again), deposited 20 n got 40 bonus. DOA only went like 20% towards wagering. got up to 400 quid playing doa and few games but wagering was like 3 grand n still had 2400 left so started spinning 1.35 on doa. Won extra spins and like 1400 and managed to clear wagering with 1.5k.

Had couple other stories like above, so casinos must realise now that massive wagering can back fire as people might bet as high as allowed n might hit something

about a couple of years ago, in Venice casino (Ca noghera) two WMS multigame machines were available. Between these games, Raging Rhino.

I was playing there RR quite often, and every single time I went there, one of the two machines was monopolized by a gentleman playing RR for hours, always with minimum bet (40 cent).

I can't recall the name of this man, but we had several drinks togheter while playing (this in many times we met at that 2 machines) and he was really a kind and funny chap. Always smiling, in the good and in the bad.

One day, whilst I was someway "surviving", he was having a true nightmare session. Inserting a lot of 50€ bills in, and nothing out. 40 cent after 40 cent press, he was losing a fortune. Not a single bonus round in thousands of spins. After a couple of hours, I felt he begun to feel nervous. And it was the very first time I saw him without the usual smile on his face. You know, those situations in which you are almost scared to hit something good since your neightbour is close to explode.

Suddenly, he stood up and he started waving his arms, totally out of control, and he screamed THIS MACHINE IS A SHIT !!!! at the same time, he hit the machine with a punch and accidentaly - of course- he pressed MAXBET button (4€).

Remember on 888 15 yrs ago while i rolled a smoke, thinking bet was on 30p but was actually on £30 and spinning away 30quid a time of my poker bankroll which i needed at the time, luckily, i noticed after the 4th spin when i happened to look up at the same time as 3oak rolled in aand paid something that didnt add up in my mind near any amount that a 3oak win should. Thank god it didnt do 20 dead spins and i caught that one as id of lost the majority of my poker earnings bankroll that i was kinda living off at the time.

No because the only reason I noticed was when I pressed for my 2nd spin it said insufficent funds So must have had between £150-300 to start with was quite a few years ago and I was new to slots so I don't remember exactly
