In another “QuakeCon Classic”, cypher (Alexey Yanushevskij, Belarus) has proved victorious by defeating rival coolleR (Anton Singov, Russia) in the final seconds. It could have been anyone’s game with one of the 5 maps played going into double overtime. But don’t feel too bad for coolleR. He leaves Dallas with $7,500 in cash for second place.

I used to *love* Quake. Was in a QII clan and played every day with team tournaments on Sunday nights and I used to so look forward to those. Played a bit on the new QuakeLive and they've done a fantastic job I must say. Plays really well.

I am also a Quake player never played live though. Then I could always try something new..
