Basic maths fail for Leo Vegas marketing

I've had similar ads from other casinos, most notably one from SpinEmpire advertising a 300% match bonus which, in reality, was three 100% match bonuses.

Who hires these people? :lolup:

Urgh man. Just come off a savage beating off LeoVegas. Some sort of revenge thing.

Made three deposits today funnily enough, unaware of this offer. After receiving my '150%' I proceeded to get a pasting.

They say when the fun stops, stop. It never started. The only thing stopping was my bankroll!

Not even sure a 5000% bonus would have saved me tonight :mad:

No No No. That is terrible, I thought only bingo sites tried this trick, That shit is what the false advertisement is trying to stamp out on, That is misleading and wrong, So you deposit £10 x3 = £30 and you end up with a £15 bonus so how is that 150%

And believe me the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) is not like the the U.K.G.C, Theses people will bang a fine straight on you, There clamping down real hard on this sort of behaviour

These emails are getting worse , especially the deposit and get freespins ones . They spend 90% of the email pretending they have given you something and then finally they admit that you have to deposit to get anything and actually the freespins are at the lowest possible value and come with a 40x wagering requirement :thumbsup:

I keep getting emails like this and everytime I do the math and think how do they work that one out?

If you skew the calculation in a very weird way and deposit 3x the same amount, you receive 150% of your first deposit :eek:

e.g. depo: 50 + 50 + 50 = 150 --> bonus total: 25 + 25 + 25 = 75 ....voila, 150% (of the first 50) :rolleyes: :D

They used the same trick as many other, partially really shady, casinos hoping players will just flick through the mailer quickly and deposit without doing the maths.

When they then find out that it is nowhere near 150% they probably are disappointed but a good part will play anyway. The others, requesting a refund, are told that the bonus can be removed but they will have to wager the deposit amount at least once before it can be withdrawn. From these yet another part will keep playing past the 1 x WR which then leaves in the end only a small part who actually withdraw their funds without losses.

Voila, marketing campaign worked just fine. Pats on the back all around. :rolleyes: :eek:

Geez, how i hate it when casinos think we are just dumb and stupid, good to be milked of our playing funds using these old tricks. :mad:

Just as bad is the trick when they send out emails promising a 100% match and when you log into the banking lobby you find only a 25 or 50% match.....again a part will deposit because they are already there, making it profitable for the casino without having to give the 100% bonus. :rolleyes:
