Just to give a heads up.
Playing Slots.LV, I was playing At The Copa 30 lines at 5 cents a line which is a $1.50 per spin. In the game they have 3 jackpots, each jackpot is won by having a chile pepper in each of the five reels, the difference between jackpots is which line the peppers are in. Having played the game for the last week or so, I never had the 5 peepers that is until today, Wow I won the smallest jackpot, Huh, what I didn't win. I ended up calling them and was told I would have to be betting maximum amount which at 5 cents is $7.50 a spin.

I don't consider myself low ball nor high ball but $1.50 a spin can add up if no decent wins.

The small jackpot is $750 or so, if you have a bad round you will spend that much with 100 spins at $1.50.

What makes it upsetting is you cannot win a jackpot unless you play maximum which removes most people out of winning a jackpot.

I'll never play there again.

On alot of slots you have to be max betting to hit a progressive jackpot.. this is true even in land based casinos. You should read slot rules before playing them

How can you spend $750 for 100 spins at $1.50 per spin?

I play this game all the time at .02 at max bet for $3 a spin. The game rules are quite clear that you have to play max bet to win the progressive. If you don't want to play $7.50 per spin then decrease your line wager from .05 to .02.

I had this same thing happen to me in Vegas years ago. I Did not know I had to bet max coins to win the jackpot. It sucks and is a hard way to learn a lesson, but you have to read the game rules especially when a progressive payout is involved.

I;ll be pissed an all if was costing me 750 for playing 100 game at 1.50 :) I knew what you meant really, On the serious note even playing at 1.50 a shot your money can disappear quick time, Someone said drop line bet? I thought that line bet and max coins had to be involved? for jp?

The progressive amounts are based on the line bet. Higher line bets have higher progressive payouts. The game Mr. Vegas works the same way.

Remember these are true progressives, not random jackpots like a lot of the other games have.

My point was that if you like to play this game, but don't want to bet $7.50 a spin, you can still play and have a shot at a progressive by changing to .02 for $3 a spin. The progressive is smaller, but you get what you pay for.

Admin Note: Title Change

Just an admin note that the title's been changed from "Slot.lv - what a rip off" to "At The Copa - what a rip off" The casino has nothing to do with the slot performance.

My bad, I'm guessing you meant $1.50 per line, but that would be an RTP of zero.

I should have said $7.50 for 100 spins. I guess I am at the wrong place, not many people I know can afford $7.50 a spin. I would guess you could really have a bad day.

Hi Yellebird,

As some of the other members mentioned, most slots in any casino require max bet to hit a progressive. The best bet is to always read the rules of a game before playing it (I personally always do this since they can vary from one machine to another). We have a section where you can check out the rules for any one of our games (
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
).

Also, if the rules are ever unclear you can contact our CS team, or reach out to me on here and we’ll help you out.

I hope this session didn’t change your mind about our Casino. Please feel free to PM me if there’s anything I can do for you.

Thanks,

Lily.

Yes, Yes and Yes.

My suggestion, if you can't afford to play max bets on a progressive then don't play a progressive. That may sound harsh but that's life, if you don't know the game rules your playing!
